1ଅବ୍ରହାମ ପୁନ୍ନରାଯ ବିବାହ କଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ନୂତନ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀର ନାମ ଥିଲା କଟୂରା।
1Abraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.
2କଟୂରା ସିମ୍ରଣ, ୟକ୍ଷନ୍, ମଦାନ୍, ମିଦିଯନ, ୟିଶ୍ବକ୍ ଓ ଶୂହ ଏହିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଲୋ।
2She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.
3ସେ ୟକ୍ଷନ୍ ଶିବା ଓ ଦଦାନକୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଲୋ। ଦଦାନ ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଥିଲେ, ଅଶୂରୀଯ, ଲଟୂଶୀଯ ଓ ଲିଯସ୍ମୀଯ।
3Jokshan became the father of Sheba, and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim.
4ମିଦିଯନର ସନ୍ତାନ ଐଫା ଓ ଏଫର ଓ ହନୋକ ଅବୀଦ ଓ ଇଲଦାଯା ଏହି ସମସ୍ତେ କଟୂରାର ସାନ୍ତାନ।
4The sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
5ଅବ୍ରହାମ ମରିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସୀ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ କିଛି ଉପହାର ଦେଲେ ଏବଂ ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।
5Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac,
6ଅବ୍ରହାମ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସେ ଦାମୀମାନଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣଙ୍କୁ କିଛି ଉପହାର ଦେଲେ ଓ ସହେି ପୁତ୍ରଗଣଙ୍କୁ ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ଦେଶ ରେ ରହିବାକୁ ବିଦାଯ କଲେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଇସ୍ହାକଠାରୁ ହୂରକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଇସ୍ହାକକୁ ଦେଲେ।
6but to the sons of the concubines who Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts. He sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, to the east country.
7ଅବ୍ରହାମ 175 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ।
7These are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived: one hundred seventy-five years.
8ଏହାପରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଦେଲେ ଓ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ। ସେ ଅନକେ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କବର ପାଇଲେ।
8Abraham gave up the spirit, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years, and was gathered to his people.
9ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଇସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲେ ମମ୍ରିର ନିକଟରେ ହତେୀଯ ସହରର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଫ୍ରୋଣର କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥିତ ମକ୍ପଲୋ ନାମକ ଗୁହା ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦେଲେ।
9Isaac and Ishmael, his sons, buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron, the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre,
10ଯେ ହତେୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ହତେୀଯ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ସହେି କ୍ଷେତ୍ର କ୍ରଯ କରିଥିଲେ। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସାରାଙ୍କ ସହିତ କବର ଦିଆଗଲା।
10the field which Abraham purchased of the children of Heth. There was Abraham buried, with Sarah his wife.
11ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ଯୁପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ। ଏବଂ ଇସ୍ହାକ ବରେ-ଲହଯରୋଯୀ ନାମକ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ବସତି କଲେ।
11It happened after the death of Abraham, that God blessed Isaac, his son. Isaac lived by Beer Lahai Roi.
12ଏହା ସାରାର ମିଶରୀଯା ଦାସୀ ହାଗାରର ପୁତ୍ର, ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲଙ୍କେର ପରିବାରର ତାଲିକା ଅଟେ।
12Now this is the history of the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bore to Abraham.
13ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ତାଲିକା ଅନୁସାରେ ନାମ: ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲରେ ଜେଷ୍ଠପୁତ୍ର ନବାଯୋତ୍ ତାହା ଉତ୍ତା ରେ କରଦେ ଓ ଅଦ୍ବଲେ ଓ ମିବ୍ସମ୍।
13These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to the order of their birth: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
14ମିଶ୍ମ ଓ ଦୂମା ଓ ମସା।
14Mishma, Dumah, Massa,
15ହଦଦ୍, ତମାେ, ୟିଟୁର ଓ ନାଫୀଶ୍ ଓ କଦମାେ।
15Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.
16ଏହି ସମସ୍ତେ ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲରେ ସନ୍ତାନ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଗ୍ରାମ ଓ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାନ ଥିଲା। ସହେି ବାରଜଣ ତାଙ୍କ ଗୋତ୍ରର ରାଜକୁମାର ଥିଲେ।
16These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their villages, and by their encampments: twelve princes, according to their nations.
17ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲରେ ଆଯୁ 137 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ସେ ପ୍ରାଣ ତ୍ଯାଗ କଲେ। ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ସହିତ କବର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ।
17These are the years of the life of Ishmael: one hundred thirty-seven years. He gave up the spirit and died, and was gathered to his people.
18ଏହାପରେ ତାହାର ବଂଶଧରମାନେ ହବୀଲାରୁ ମିଶରର ପାଖ ରେ ଶୂରକୁ ଅଶ୍ବରିଯା ଦିଗ ରେ ବସତି କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପାଖ ରେ ବାସ କଲେ ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲେ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ବଂଶଧରମାନେ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ବସତି କଲେ।
18They lived from Havilah to Shur that is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria. He lived opposite all his relatives.
19ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଏହି। ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ।
19This is the history of the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son. Abraham became the father of Isaac.
20ଯେତବେେଳେ ଇସ୍ହାକ ରିବିକାକୁ ବିବାହ କଲେ, ସେ ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲେ। ୟିଏକି ବଥୁଯଲରେ କନ୍ଯା, ଅରାମୀଯ ପଦ୍ଦନ-ଅରାମୀଯ ଏବଂ ଅରାମୀଯ ଲାବନର ଭୁଗିନୀ।
20Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Paddan Aram, the sister of Laban the Syrian, to be his wife.
21ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କର ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବନ୍ଧ୍ଯା ହବୋରୁ ସେ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲୋ ତିହିଁ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣନ୍ତେ ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ରିବିକା ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ହେଲା।
21Isaac entreated Yahweh for his wife, because she was barren. Yahweh was entreated by him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22ଯେ ଦବେଳେେ ରିବିକା ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ହେଲା, ନିଜ ନିଜ ଭିତ ରେ ଶିଶୁମାନେ ଛନ୍ଦାଛନ୍ଦି ହେଲେ। ରିବିକା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି କହିଲା, ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଏପରି କାହିଁକି ଘଟିଲା?
22The children struggled together within her. She said, "If it be so, why do I live?" She went to inquire of Yahweh.
23ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗର୍ଭ ରେ ଦୁଇ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଦୁଇ ଗୋତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉଦରରୁ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ହବେେ। ଏକ ଗୋତ୍ର ଅନ୍ୟ ଗୋତ୍ରଠାରୁ ବଳବାନ ହବେ। ପୁଣି ଜେଷ୍ଠ କନିଷ୍ଠର ସବୋ କରିବ।
23Yahweh said to her, Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples will be separated from your body. The one people will be stronger than the other people. The elder will serve the younger.
24ଉପୟୁକ୍ତ ସମୟରେ ରିବିକା ଜାଆଁଳା ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ ଦେଲେ।
24When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
25ଜେଷ୍ଠ ବାରାହି ଆସିଲା ରକ୍ତବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦଖାଯାେଉଥିଲା, ତାଙ୍କର ଚର୍ମ ଲୋମଶ ବସ୍ତ୍ରପରି ଥିଲା। ଏଣୁ ଏହାର ନାମ ଏଷୌ ଦିଆଗଲା।
25The first came out red all over, like a hairy garment. They named him Esau.
26ତା'ପରେ, ତାହାର ଭ୍ରାତା ଏଷୌର ଗୋଇଠି ଧରି ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲା। ଏଣୁକରି ତାହାର ନାମ ଯାକୁବ ଦିଆଗଲା। ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କର ଷାଠିଏ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ରେ ଏହି ୟାଆଁଳା ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲେ।
26After that, his brother came out, and his hand had hold on Esau's heel. He was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
27ଏହାପରେ ବାଳକମାନେ ବଢ଼ିଲେ ଏବଂ ଏଷୌ ମୃଗଯା ରେ ଜଣେ ନିପୁଣ ଓ ବନବିହାରୀ ହେଲା। ଯାକୁବ ଜଣେ ମୃଦୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତମ୍ବୁ ରେ ବାସ କଲା।
27The boys grew. Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field. Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents.
28ଇସ୍ହାକ ମୃଗଯା ମାଂସ ଅତି ସୁସ୍ବାଦୁ ବୋଧ କରିବାରୁ ଏଷୌକୁ ଭଲ ପାଇଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ରିବିକା ଯାକୁବକୁ ଭଲ ପାଇଲେ।
28Now Isaac loved Esau, because he ate his venison. Rebekah loved Jacob.
29ସହେି ସମୟରେ ଏଷୌ ବହୁତ କ୍ଲାନ୍ତ ହାଇେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରୁ ଆସିଲା।
29Jacob boiled stew. Esau came in from the field, and he was famished.
30ତହୁଁ ସେ ଯାକୁବକୁ କହିଲା, ମୁଁ ବହୁତ ଥକି ୟାଇଛି ମତେ ଦୟାକରି ସହେି ଲାଲ ପଦାର୍ଥରୁ କିଛି ଦିଅ। ଏହି ନାମନ୍ତେ ତା'ର ନାମ ଇଦୋମ ନାମ ରେ ଖ୍ଯାତ ହେଲେ।
30Esau said to Jacob, "Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am famished." Therefore his name was called Edom.
31କିନ୍ତୁ ଯାକୁବ କହିଲା, ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମତେ ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ପୁତ୍ର ଅଧିକାର ବିକ୍ରଯ କର।
31Jacob said, "First, sell me your birthright."
32ଏଷୌ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, ଦେଖ ମୁଁ ମଲା ପରି, ଜ୍ଯଷ୍ଠୋଧିକାର ରେ ମାରେ କି ଲାଭ? ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦବେି।
32Esau said, "Behold, I am about to die. What good is the birthright to me?"
33କିନ୍ତୁ ଯାକୁବ କହିଲା, ପ୍ରଥମେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର। ତେଣୁ ସେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲା। ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଜେଷ୍ଠତା ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦଲୋ।
33Jacob said, "Swear to me first." He swore to him. He sold his birthright to Jacob.
34ଏହାପରେ ଯାକୁବ ଏଷୌକୁ ରୋଟି ଏବଂ ମସୁରଡ଼ାଲି ରାନ୍ଧି ଖାଇବାକୁ ଦଲୋ ଓ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କଲା। ଏହିପରି ଏଷୌ ନିଜର ଜେଷ୍ଠ ଭ୍ରାତାର ଅଧିକାର ବିଷଯ ରେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଭାବିଲା ନାହିଁ।
34Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils. He ate and drank, rose up, and went his way. So Esau despised his birthright.
