1ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏବେ ସ୍ବାଧୀନ। ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ସ୍ବାଧୀନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଦୃଢ଼ ଭାବରେ ରହିଥାଅ। ପୁଣି ଥରେ ଦାସତ୍ବର ବନ୍ଧନ ନିକଟରେ ନିଜ ନିଜକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କର ନାହିଁ।
1Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
2ଶୁଣ ! ମୁଁ ପାଉଲ କହୁଛି, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହାଇେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେି ୟିବ, ତା ହେଲେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଲାଭଦାୟକ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ।
2Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.
3ମୁଁ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କରାଇ ଦେଉଛି : ଯଦି ଜଣେ କହେି ସୁନ୍ନତକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ, ତା' ହେଲେ ସେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପାଳନ କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ ହବେ।
3Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଅନୁସାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହବୋକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛ, ତା' ହେଲେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ସମାପ୍ତ ହେଲା, ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହକୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ଯ କଲ।
4You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
5ମୁଁ ଏହା କ ହେ କାରଣ ଆମେ ଆଶା କରୁ ଯେ, ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଦ୍ବାରା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଧାର୍ମିକ ହବେୁ।
5For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
6ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ ଆମେ ଏଥି ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରି ରହିଛୁ। ଯଦି କହେି ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଅଛି, ତା ହେଲେ ସେ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହାଇେଛି ନା ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ମହତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନୁହେଁ। ମହତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଷୟ ହେଲା, ପ୍ ରମଜେନକ ବିଶ୍ବାସ, ଯାହା କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ପରିପ୍ରକାଶ ହୁଏ।
6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
7ମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରତିୟୋଗିତା ରେ ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ଦୌଡ଼ୁଥିଲ। କିଏ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ଯପଥ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ରେ ବାଧା ଦଲୋ ?
7You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
8ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରକାର ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତନା ଦିଆଯାଇଥାଉ ନା କାହିଁକି, ସହେି ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତନା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସି ନାହିଁ, ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଥିଲେ।
8This persuasion is not from him who calls you.
9ସାବଧାନ ରୁହ, ଅଳ୍ପ ଟିକିଏ ଖମୀର ଜନ୍ତା ହାଇେଥିବା ସବୁ ମଇଦାକୁ ଫୁଲାଇ ଦିଏ।279
9A little yeast grows through the whole lump.
10ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ମାରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଅଛି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହିଭଳି ଭିନ୍ନ ମତାମତକୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଚଳିତ କରୁଛି, ସେ ୟିଏ ହେଉ ନା କାହିଁକି ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବ।
10I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11ମାେ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ ! ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଇ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, ଲୋକେ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହବୋ ନିହାତି ଆବଶ୍ଯକ। ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଏହା ଶିଖାଇଛି, ତା ହେଲେ ମାେତେ କାହିଁକି ତାଡ଼ନା ଆସୁଛି ? ମୁଁ ଯଦି ଏହା ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଥିଲି, ତା' ହେଲେ କ୍ରୁଶ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ମାରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ଯତିବ୍ଯସ୍ତ କରି ପକାଇ ନ ଥାନ୍ତା।
11But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling-block of the cross has been removed.
12ମୁଁ କାମନା କରେ ଯେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତଜେିତ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ନିଜର ସୁନ୍ନତ କରିବା ସହିତ ଚକ୍ଷୁକୁ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟହୀନ କରୁ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି କାହିଁକି ?
12I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.
13ମାେ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ ! ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବାଧୀନ ରହିବା ପାଇଁ ବାଛିଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ସ୍ବାଧୀନତାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ନିଜର ପାପମୟ ସ୍ବଭାବର ଇଚ୍ଛା ପୂରଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବ୍ଯବହାର କର ନାହିଁ। ବରଂ ଏକ ଆ ରକରେ ପ୍ ରମେ ପୂର୍ବକ ସବୋ କର।
13For you , brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
14ସମସ୍ତ ନିୟମ ଗୋଟିଏ ଆଦେଶର ସାର ଭାବରେ ସମାହିତ ହାଇେଛି : ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କଲା ପରି ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କର।280
14For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
15ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏକ ଆ ରକେକୁ ଆଘାତ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରୁଥାଅ, ଓ ତଦ୍ଦ୍ବାରା ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରି ଚାଲ, ତା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେ ୟିବ। ତେଣୁ ସାବଧାନ ରୁହ।
15But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another.
16ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ କହୁଛି : ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କର ଅନୁସରଣ କରି ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କର। ତା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପାପମୟ ସ୍ବଭାବର ଇଚ୍ଛାକୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ କୌଣସି ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
16But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17ଆମ୍ଭର ପାପମୟ ସ୍ବଭାବର ଇଚ୍ଛା ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କର ବିରୋଧୀ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ପାପମୟ ସ୍ବଭାବର ବିରୋଧୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଦୁଇ ବିଷୟ ପରସ୍ପରର ବିରୋଧୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଯାହା କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତାହା କରି ପାର ନାହିଁ।
17For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire.
18କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କର ପରିଚାଳିତ ପଥରେ ଚଳୁଛ, ତା' ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥାର ଅଧୀନ ନୁହଁ।
18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19ଆମ୍ଭର ପାପମୟ ସ୍ବଭାବ ଦ୍ବାରା ହେଉଥିବା ପାପପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କ୍ରିଯାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିଷୟ ରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକ ହେଲା : ୟୌନ ପାପାଚାର, ଅପବିତ୍ରତା, ଭୋଗବିଳାସ,
19Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
20ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିପୂଜା, ଯାଦୁବିଦ୍ଯା, ଘୃଣା, ଝଗଡ଼ା, ଈର୍ଷା, କୋର୍ଧ, ସ୍ବାର୍ଥପରତା, ବିଭାଜନ କରିବା, ଦଳୀୟ ମନୋଭାବ,
20idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
21ପରଶ୍ରୀକାତରତା, ନିଶାସକ୍ତ ହବୋ, ମଉଜ ଓ ଏହିପରି ଅନ୍ୟ ସବୁ କାମ। ମୁଁ ପୂର୍ବ ଭଳି ଏବେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କରାଉଛି ଯେ, ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏଭଳି କର୍ମ ରେ ଲିପ୍ତ ରୁହନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯର ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାର ପାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।
21envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22ମାତ୍ର ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହିଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି : ପ୍ ରମେ, ଆନନ୍ଦ, ଶାନ୍ତି, ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ, ଦୟାଭାବ, ଉଦାରତା, ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତତା,
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23ଭଦ୍ରତା ଓ ଆତ୍ମ-ସଂୟମ। ଏହି ବିଷୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଠିକ୍ ନୁହେଁ ବୋଲି କୌଣସି ନିୟମ କହିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
23gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର, ସମାନେେ ନିଜର ମନର ଆବଗେ ଓ ପାପମୟ ସ୍ବଭାବକୁ କ୍ରୁଶ ରେ ବିଦ୍ଧ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ନିଜର ସ୍ବାର୍ଥପର ମନୋଭାବ ଓ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସବୁକୁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
24Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
25ସହେି ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ନୂତନ ଜୀବନ ପାଇଅଛୁ। ଅତଏବ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
25If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit.
26ଆମ୍ଭେ ବୃଥାଭିମାନୀ ହବୋ ନାହିଁ। ଏକ ଆ ରକେକୁ ଅସୁବିଧା ରେ ପକାଇବା ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଈର୍ଷା କରିବା ନାହିଁ।
26Let's not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
