ଏହି ନାମଗୁଡିକ ହେଉଛି ପିତୃବଂଶର ମୁଖ୍ଯମାନେ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଏଜ୍ରାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାବିଲୋନରୁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅର୍ତ୍ତକ୍ଷସ୍ତ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଥିଲୁ। ଏହିଠା ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଚିଠା ଦିଆଗଲା।

Now these are the heads of their fathers' houses, and this is the genealogy of those who went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king:

ପୀନହସର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଗେର୍ଶୋମ, ଈଥାମରର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଦାନିୟେଲ। ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ହଟୂଶ୍।

Of the sons of Phinehas, Gershom. Of the sons of Ithamar, Daniel. Of the sons of David, Hattush.

ଶଖନିଯର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ୍ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ, ପରିଯୋଶର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ୍ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜିଖରିଯ ଏବଂ 150 ଜଣ ପୁରୁଷ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପଞ୍ଜିକୃତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ।

Of the sons of Shecaniah, of the sons of Parosh, Zechariah; and with him were reckoned by genealogy of the males one hundred fifty.

ପହତ୍ ମାୟୋବର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ସରହିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀହୋଐନଯ ଓ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ 200 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Pahath-moab, Eliehoenai the son of Zerahiah; and with him two hundred males.

ଏବଂ ଜାତୁଙ୍କର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ୟହସୀଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଶଖନିଯ ଏବଂ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ 300 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Shecaniah, the son of Jahaziel; and with him three hundred males.

ଆଉ ଆଦୀନର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଯୋନାଥନର ପୁତ୍ର ଏବଦ୍ ଓ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ପଗ୍ଭଶ ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Adin, Ebed the son of Jonathan; and with him fifty males.

ଏଲମର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଅଥଲିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ୟିଶାଯାହ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ 70 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Elam, Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah; and with him seventy males.
8
ଶଫଟିଯର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ମୀଖାଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର ସବଦିଯ ଓ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ 80 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Shephatiah, Zebadiah the son of Michael; and with him eighty males.

ଯୋୟାବର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ୟିହିଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଓବଦିଯ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ 218 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Joab, Obadiah the son of Jehiel; and with him two hundred and eighteen males.
10
ଆଉ ବାଣିର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ୟୋଷିଫିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଶ ଲୋମୀତ ଓ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ 160 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Shelomith, the son of Josiphiah; and with him one hundred sixty males.

ବବଯରେ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ବବଯରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଜିଖରିଯ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ 28 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Bebai, Zechariah the son of Bebai; and with him twenty-eight males.

ଅସ୍ଗଦର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ହକାଟନର ପୁତ୍ର ୟୋହାନନ୍ ଓ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ 110ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Azgad, Johanan the son of Hakkatan; and with him one hundred ten males.
13
ଅଦୋନୀକାମର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କନିଷ୍ଠମାନେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନାମ ଇଲିଫଲେଟ୍, ୟିଯୂଯଲେ, ଶମଯିମ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସଙ୍ଗେ 60 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Adonikam, who were the last; and these are their names: Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah; and with them sixty males.
14
ଆଉ ବିଗ୍ବଯ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଊଥଯ ଓ ସବୂଦ୍ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସଙ୍ଗେ 70 ପୁରୁଷ।

Of the sons of Bigvai, Uthai and Zabbud; and with them seventy males.
15
ମୁଁ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅହବା ଆଡକୁ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ନଦୀ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ର କଲି। ସଠାେରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଛାଉଣୀ କରି ତିନିଦିନ ରହିଲୁ। ମୁଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଖାଜେିଲି କିନ୍ତୁ ଲବେୀର କୌଣସି ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ପାଇଲି ନାହିଁ।

I gathered them together to the river that runs to Ahava; and there we encamped three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.
16
ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଇଲୀଯଷେର, ଅରୀଯଲେ, ଶମଯିଯ ଓ ଇଲ୍ନାଥନ ଓ ୟାରିବ୍ ଇଲ୍ନାଥନ ଓ ନାଥନ, ଜିଖରୀଯ ଓ ମଶୁଲ୍ଲମ୍ ଏହି ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ୟୋଯାରୀବ ଓ ଇଲ୍ନାଥନ ଶିକ୍ଷକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିବାକୁ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇଲି।

Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, who were teachers.
17
ଏହାପରେ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କାସିଫିଆ ନାମକ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନର ପ୍ରଧାନଲୋକ ଇଦ୍ଦୋ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲି। ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପରିଗ୍ଭରକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ କାସିଫିଆ ସ୍ଥାନସ୍ଥ ଇଦ୍ଦୋକୁ ଓ ତା'ର ଭାତୃଗଣ ନାଥୀନୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବାକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦଲେି।

I sent them forth to Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia; and I told them what they should tell Iddo, and his brothers the Nethinim, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring to us ministers for the house of our God.
18
ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମଙ୍ଗଳମଯ ହସ୍ତର ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପୌତ୍ର,
18
According to the good hand of our God on us they brought us a man of discretion, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brothers, eighteen;
19
ହସବିଯ ଓ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ମରାରି ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ୟିଶଯାହ ତାହାର ଭାତୃଗଣ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ଏପରି କୋଡିଏ ଜଣ।
19
and Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brothers and their sons, twenty;
20
ଦାଉଦ ଓ ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦଇେଥିଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ 220 ଜଣ ନଥନୀଯ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଦାସ ଆଣିଲେ। ଏହି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ନାମ ଲିଖିତ ହେଲା।

and of the Nethinim, whom David and the princes had given for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinim: all of them were mentioned by name.
21
ଏହାପରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ସକଳ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ପାଇଁ ସରଳ ପଥ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ଅଭିପ୍ରାଯ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମ୍ରକରିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଅହିବାନଦୀ ନିକଟରେ ଉପବାସ ଘାଷେଣା କଲି।

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a straight way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
22
କାରଣ ପଥ ମଧିଅରେ ଶତୃ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଏକଦଳ ସୈନ୍ଯ ଓ ଅଶ୍ବାରୋହୀ ମାଗିବାକୁ ମୁଁ ଲଜ୍ଜା ବୋଧ କଲି। ମୁଁ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭରସା କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ତାଙ୍କର ସହାୟତା ଅଛି। ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରନ୍ତି, ତାଙ୍କର ଶକ୍ତି ଓ କୋର୍ଧ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଥାଏ।

For I was ashamed to ask of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way, because we had spoken to the king, saying, The hand of our God is on all those who seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath is against all those who forsake him.
23
ଏଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଉପବାସ କଲୁ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବିନତୀ କଲୁ ଏବଂ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ।

So we fasted and begged our God for this: and he was entreated of us.
24
ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ବାରଜଣ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଶେ ରବେିଯ, ହଶବିଯ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦଶଜଣ ଭ୍ରାତାଙ୍କୁ ପୃଥକ୍ କଲି।

Then I set apart twelve of the chiefs of the priests, even Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers with them,
25
ଆଉ ରାଜା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଗଣ ଓ ତାହାର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଓ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ମନ୍ଦିର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ରୂପା, ସୁନା ଓ ପାତ୍ରମାନସବୁ ଉପହାର କରିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତୌଲି ଦଲେି।

and weighed to them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering for the house of our God, which the king, and his counselors, and his princes, and all Israel there present, had offered:
26
ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହସ୍ତ ରେ 650 ତାଳନ୍ତ ରୂପା ଓ 100 ତାଳନ୍ତ ରେ ୗପ୍ୟପାତ୍ର ଓ 100 ତାଳନ୍ତ ସୁନା।

I weighed into their hand six hundred fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels one hundred talents; of gold one hundred talents;
27
1,000 ଡାରିକ୍ ମୂଲ୍ଯର 20 ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣମଯ ପାତ୍ର ଏବଂ ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ବହୁମୁଲ୍ଯ ଉତ୍ତମ ଉଜ୍ବଳ ପିତ୍ତଳର ଦୁଇପାତ୍ର ତୌଲି ଦଲେି।

and twenty bowls of gold, of one thousand darics; and two vessels of fine bright brass, precious as gold.
28
ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ବାରଜଣ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ପବିତ୍ର ଓ ପାତ୍ର ସବୁ ପବିତ୍ର, ଆଉ ଏହି ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ସ୍ବେଚ୍ଛାଦତ୍ତ ଉପହାର ଅଟେ।

I said to them, You are holy to Yahweh, and the vessels are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewill-offering to Yahweh, the God of your fathers.
29
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ମନ୍ଦିର କଠାେରୀ ରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଗର୍ବର ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ପରିବାରର ନେତାମାନଙ୍କର ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ଏହାସବୁ ତୌଲି ନଦବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସତର୍କ ହୁଅ ଓ ଏହା ସବୁର ସୁରକ୍ଷା କର।

Watch you , and keep them, until you weigh them before the chiefs of the priests and the Levites, and the princes of the fathers' houses of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of Yahweh.

ତହିଁରେ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ୟିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ସହେି ତୌଲା ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନାପାତ୍ର ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ।

So the priests and the Levites received the weight of the silver and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem to the house of our God.
31
ଏହାପରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ୟାତ୍ରାକରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରଥମ ମାସର ଦ୍ବାଦଶ ଦିନ ଅହବା ନଦୀ ନିକଟକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହାୟ ହେଲା। ଆଉ ପଥ ମଧିଅରେ ଶତୃ ଓ ଓଗାଳି ବସିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ।

Then we departed from the river Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go to Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was on us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy and the bandit by the way.
32
ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହାଇେ ସଠାେରେ ତିନିଦିନ ବିଶ୍ରାମ କଲୁ।

We came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.
33
ଏହାପରେ ଚତୁର୍ଥଦିନ ସହେି ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନାପାତ୍ର ସକଳ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ତୌଲାୟାଇ ଊରିଯ ଯାଜକର ପୁତ୍ର ମରମୋେତ୍ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଦିଆଗଲା। ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ପୀନହସର ପୁତ୍ର ଏଲିଯାସର ଥିଲା। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯଶୂେଯର ପୁତ୍ର ୟୋଷାବଦ୍ ଓ ବିନ୍ନୂଯିର ପୁତ୍ର ନୋଯଦିଯ ଏହି ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଥିଲେ।

On the fourth day the silver and the gold and the vessels were weighed in the house of our God into the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, the Levite;

ସମଗ୍ର ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଗଣା ୟାଇ ଓ ପରିମିତ ହାଇେ ଦିଆଗଲା ଓ ସହେି ସମୟରେ ସହେିସବୁର ତୌଲ୍ଯ ଲଖାଗେଲା।

the whole by number and by weight: and all the weight was written at that time.

ନିର୍ବାସନରୁ ଆଗତ ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ବର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସମଗ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ହାମବେଳି ରୂପେ 12 ବୃଷ, 96ଅଣ୍ତିରା ମଷେ, 77 ମଷେଶାବକ, ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ 12 ଛାଗ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ଏହିସବୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ହାମବେଳି ଥିଲା।

The children of the captivity, who had come out of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel, twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin-offering: all this was a burnt offering to Yahweh.
