ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, 'ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ପଚାରନ୍ତି, ପିତୃପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ପରି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରୀତା କରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ନିଜକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରୁ ନାହଁ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଘୃଣ୍ଯ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରୀ ହେଉଅଛ ?

Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Do you pollute yourselves after the manner of your fathers? and play you the prostitute after their abominations?
