1ଯାହା ମୁ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଦେଶମାନ ମାନିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବଞ୍ଚିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ହବୋ ପାଇଁ ଓ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ଅଧିକାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯାହାକି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଶପଥ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
1All the commandment which I command you this day shall you observe to do, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers.
2ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସ୍ମରଣ କର ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯେଉଁ ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ମଧିଅରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଭଳି ଭାବରେ ଗମନ କରାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନବୋ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞାପାଳନ କରିବ କି ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନ ଜାଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହା କରିଛନ୍ତି।
2You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not.
3ମନକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଯ ଯେ କବଳେ ରୋଟୀ ରେ ବଞ୍ଚେ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯାହା ନିର୍ଗତ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଏ, ତହିଁରେ ବଞ୍ଚେ। ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମ୍ର ଓ କ୍ଷକ୍ସ୍ଟଧିତ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ମାନ୍ନା ଦଇେ ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
3He humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you didn't know, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh does man live.
4ଏହି ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଜୀର୍ଣ ହେଲାନାହିଁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାଦ ଫକ୍ସ୍ଟଲିଲା ନାହିଁ।
4Your clothing didn't grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.
5ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ହୃଦଯର ସହିତ ଜାଣିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ଯେ, ଜଣେ ପିତା ତା'ର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେପରି ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଶାସିତ କରେ ସହେିପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଶାସିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
5You shall consider in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so Yahweh your God chastens you.
6ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଆଦେଶ ମାନି ପାଳନ କରିବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଗମନ କରିବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭୟ କରିବ।
6You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
7ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଇେ ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ଭୂମିକି ଜଳରାଶି ରେ ଝରଣା ରେ ଓ ଗଭୀର ଜଳ ସୋର୍ତ ରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ତାହା ଉପତ୍ୟକା ଓ ପର୍ବତ ଦଇେ ଝରିୟାଏ।
7For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills;
8ଏହି ଦେଶ ଗହମ, ୟବ, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷା, ଡିମ୍ବିରି ଓ ଡାଳିମ୍ବ ବୃକ୍ଷମଯ ଅଟେ। ସହେି ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ଯ ଜିତତୈଳ ଓ ମଧକ୍ସ୍ଟମଯ ଅଟେ।
8a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey;
9ସଠାେରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରଚକ୍ସ୍ଟର ପରିମାଣର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପାଇବ। ସଠାେରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯମାନ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ହବେ। ସହେି ଦେଶର ପଥର ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଟା ଅଟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେକାର ପର୍ବତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପିତ୍ତଳ ଖୋଳି ପାରିବ।
9a land in which you shall eat bread without scarceness, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.
10ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ରେ ତୃଲ୍ଗ ହବେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶ ଦଇେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ କରିବ।
10You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you.
11ସାବଧାନ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ଭକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ ନାହିଁ। ସାବଧାନତା ସହକା ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶମାନ ତାଙ୍କର ବିଧି ପାଳନ କର , ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜି ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା, ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରୁଅଛି।
11Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you this day:
12ଏହାପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଇବ ଓ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ଦର ଗୃହମାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ ସେଥି ରେ ବାସ କରିବାକୁ।
12lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses, and lived therein;
13ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗୋବତ୍ସ, ମଷେ, ଛଳେିଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ବିର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ତୁ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଚକ୍ସ୍ଟର ପରିମାଣର ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନା ରୂପା ପାଇବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଯାହାସବୁ ଅଛି ତାହା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବ।
13and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;
14ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏପରି ହବେ ସାବଧାନ, ଗର୍ବ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏକଥା ଭକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ ନାହିଁ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାସତ୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି।
14then your heart be lifted up, and you forget Yahweh your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;
15ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନମ୍ର କରିବାକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିଷଧର ସର୍ପ ଓ ବିଛା ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ନିର୍ଜଳ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍କ ଭୂମିଥିବା ଏହି ବିସ୍ତିର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଭୟାନକ ମରକ୍ସ୍ଟଭୂମି ଦଇେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗମନ କରାଇ ଆଣିଲେ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଚକ୍ମକି ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମଯ ଶୈଳରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜଳ ବାହାର କଲେ।
15who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where was no water; who brought you forth water out of the rock of flint;
16ସେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପୁର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ମାନ୍ନାଦ୍ବାରା ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କଲେ। ଏହିପରି ଭାବେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ମରଣ କର।
16who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn't know; that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end:
17ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବେେ କୁହ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, 'ଆପଣା ପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ବାହୁ ବଳଦ୍ବାରା ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଐଶ୍ବର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଲାଭ କରିଛ ବୋଲି।'
17and lest you say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.
18ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କର। ଏହା କଥା ମନରେଖ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେ ଏପରି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶକ୍ତି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କାହିଁକି ଏପରି କଲେ? କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ ଏପରି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯାହାସବୁ ସେ ଆଜି କରିଛନ୍ତି।
18But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day.
19 କବେେ ବି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ଭକ୍ସ୍ଟଲିବ ନାହିଁ। ଅନ୍ୟ ଦବେତାଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାନିବ ନାହିଁ କି ତାଙ୍କର ସବୋ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏପରି କର, ତବେେ ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କରାଇଦେଉଛି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ରେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ।
19It shall be, if you shall forget Yahweh your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.
20ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ଅନ୍ୟ ଦବେତାଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାନ, ତବେେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବେ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞା ମାନିଲ ନାହିଁ।
20As the nations that Yahweh makes to perish before you, so shall you perish; because you wouldn't listen to the voice of Yahweh your God.
