1ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ହେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମୁ ଯେଉଁ ନିଯମ ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଉଅଛି, ତହିଁରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର। ତାହା ପାଳନ କଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବଞ୍ଚିବ। ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦବେେ, ତହିଁଯରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।
1Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the ordinances, which I teach you, to do them; that you may live, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, gives you.
2ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଉଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି ବାକ୍ଯ ରେ ଆଉ କିଛି ମିଶାଅ ନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ତା'ଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କିଛି ଉଣାକରି ପାଳନ କର ନାହିଁ। ସପୂର୍ଣ ଭାବେ ସହେି ବାକ୍ଯମାନ ପାଳନ କର। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞା ମାନ।
2You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.
3ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କର୍ମ ବାଲପିଯୋର ରେ ଦେଖିଅଛ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ବାଲପିୟୋରର ପଶ୍ଚାଦଗାମୀ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଛନ୍ତି।
3Your eyes have seen what Yahweh did because of Baal Peor; for all the men who followed Baal Peor, Yahweh your God has destroyed them from the midst of you.
4କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଆସକ୍ତ ହେଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଏବେ ବଞ୍ଚିଛନ୍ତି।
4But you who did cleave to Yahweh your God are alive everyone of you this day.
5ହିଁ ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଯେପରି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ, ମୁ ସହେି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥାସବୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦଲେି। ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେିପରି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଓ ବିଧି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦଇେଅଛି, ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଅଛ, ସହେି ଦେଶ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ ବାସ କରିବ।
5Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as Yahweh my God commanded me, that you should do so in the midst of the land where you go in to possess it.
6ତେଣୁ ଏହି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥାସବୁ ପାଳନ କର ଏବଂ ସଗେକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ଅଭ୍ଯାସ କର କାରଣ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଝାମଣା ହବେ। ଏହି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣିଲାପରେ ସମାନେେ କହିବେ ଯେ, 'ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ମହାନ ଲୋକ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଏବଂ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଝାମଣା ଶକ୍ତି ଅଛି।'
6Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
7ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ମରଣ ରେ ଯେପରି ସର୍ବଦା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅନ୍ତି। ଅନ୍ୟ ଓ କୌଣସି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏପରି ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
7For what great nation is there, that has a god so near to them, as Yahweh our God is whenever we call on him?
8ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଯଥାର୍ଥା ବିଧି ଓ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଯେପରି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଆଦି ଦଇେଅଛି, ତାହା ତକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଯ କୌଣସି ଜାତିଗଣ ମଧିଅରେ ନାହିଁ।
8What great nation is there, that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
9କିନ୍ତୁ ସାବଧାନ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ। ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବଞ୍ଚିଥିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦେଖିଥିବା କାର୍ଯଗୁଡିକ କଦାପି ଭକ୍ସ୍ଟଲିବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାତୀନାତକ୍ସ୍ଟଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଗେକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅ।
9Only take heed to yourself, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children's children;
10ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାରେବେ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଛାମକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରେ ଛିଡା ହାଇେଥିଲ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, 'ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ କର। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବାକ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣାଇବା ତହିଁରେ ସମାନେେ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ୟାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭୟ କରିବା ଶିଖିବେ ଓ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଇବେ।'
10the day that you stood before Yahweh your God in Horeb, when Yahweh said to me, Assemble me the people, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.
11ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ମାରେ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହାଇେ ପର୍ବତ ତଳେ ଛିଡା ହେଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ସହେି ପର୍ବତ ଅନ୍ଧକାର, ମେଘ ଓ ଘୋର ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ବ୍ଯାଲ୍ଗ ହାଇେଥିଲା ଓ ଗଗନର ମଧ୍ଯ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଜଳିଲା।
11You came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire to the heart of the sky, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.
12ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେି ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କଥା କହିଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବାକ୍ଯର ଶଦ୍ଦ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣିଲ। ମାତ୍ର କୌଣସି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଦେଖିଲ ନାହିଁ।
12Yahweh spoke to you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of words, but you saw no form; only you heard a voice.
13ତା'ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଯମ ପାଳନ କର ବୋଲି ସେ ଆଦେଶ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଦଶ ଆଜ୍ଞାର ନିଯମ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଫଳକରେ ସହେି ନିଯମ ଲେଖିଲେ।
13He declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments; and he wrote them on two tables of stone.
14ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବାକୁ ପାର ହାଇେ ଯାଉଅଛ, ସହେି ଦେଶ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାଳନୀଯ ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ ସମସ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେି ସମୟରେ ମାେତେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।
14Yahweh commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and ordinances, that you might do them in the land where you go over to possess it.
15 ସହେିଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କଥା କହିବା ସମୟରେ (ହାରେବେ ରେ) ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର କୌଣସି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଦେଖିଲ ନାହିଁ।
15Take therefore good heed to yourselves; for you saw no manner of form on the day that Yahweh spoke to you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire.
16ତେଣୁ ସାବଧାନ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ, ନଚେତ୍ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରତିମା କରି ପୂଜା କର, ଏପରି କୌଣସି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି କର ନାହିଁ, ଯାହା କୌଣସି ଜିବୀତ ପୁରୁଷ ବା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପରି ହାଇେଥିବ।
16Lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself an engraved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
17ଏପରି କୌଣସି ପ୍ରତୀମା ପଶକ୍ସ୍ଟପରି ବା ପକ୍ଷୀପରି କରନାହିଁ।
17the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky,
18ଏପରି କୌଣସି ପ୍ରାଣୀର ପ୍ରତିମା ତିଆରି କରନାହିଁ ଯାହା ଭୂମିରେ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟରକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତି ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟରକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତି ୟାଏ ବା ସମକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ରର ମାଛତକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଯ ହାଇେଥାଏ।
18the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth;
19ଏପରି ସାବଧାନ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ,ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର, ତାରାଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆକାଶ ରେ ଦେଖ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବି ମାହେିତ ହାଇେ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବା ଓ ସବୋ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହେଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ଜାତିଗଣ ଏହିସବୁ କରିବାକୁ ରଖିଛନ୍ତି।
19and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the host of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky.
20କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟହା ତରଳା ଯାଉଥିବା ଚକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଲାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କାଢି ଆଣିବା ତକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଯ, ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ ଲୋକ ହବୋ ପାଇଁ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେପରି ଆଜି ହାଇେଛ।
20But Yahweh has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as at this day.
21ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମାେ ଉପରେ କୋରଧ ହେଲେ। ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ମୁ ଯେପରି ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାର ହାଇେ ନ ୟିବି ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବାକୁ ଦବେେ, ସହେି ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶ ରେ ମୁ ଯେପରି ପ୍ରବେଶ ନ କରିବି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଶପଥ କଲେ।
21Furthermore Yahweh was angry with me for your sakes, and swore that I should not go over the Jordan, and that I should not go in to that good land, which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance:
22ଏଣୁ ମୁ ଏହି ଦେଶ ରେ ମରିବି। ମୁ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାର ହାଇେ ୟିବି ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟିବ ଓ ସହେି ଉତ୍ତମ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।
22but I must die in this land, I must not go over the Jordan; but you shall go over, and possess that good land.
23ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆପଣା ବିଷଯ ରେ ସାବଧାନ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ। ନଚେତ୍ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସ୍ଥୀରକୃତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିଯମ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପାଶୋରି ୟିବ ନାହିଁ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିଷିଦ୍ଧ କୌଣସି ବସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟର ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଖୋଦିତ ପ୍ରତିମା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
23Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he made with you, and make you an engraved image in the form of anything which Yahweh your God has forbidden you.
24କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଜଣେ ଇର୍ଷାପରାଯଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏବଂ ସେ ଅଗ୍ନି ସ୍ବରୂପ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜା କରନ୍ତି।
24For Yahweh your God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.
25ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସେ ଦେଶ ରେ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଦିନ ବସବାସ କରିବ। ସଠାେରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଓ ନାତିମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବାସ କରିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରତିମା କରି ବା ଖୋଦିତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି କରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନଧାରାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କ୍ଷକ୍ସ୍ଟର୍ଣ କରିବ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏପରି କରିବ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କୋରଧ କରିବେ।
25When you shall father children, and children's children, and you shall have been long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make an engraved image in the form of anything, and shall do that which is evil in the sight of Yahweh your God, to provoke him to anger;
26ତେଣୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କରାଇ ଦେଉଛି, ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସାକ୍ଷୀରଖି କହକ୍ସ୍ଟଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ଏପରି କର, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାର ହାଇେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯାଉଛ, ସହେି ଦେଶରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶିଘ୍ର ସଠାେରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିଃଶଷେରୂପେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ଦୀର୍ଘଜୀବି ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
26I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto you go over the Jordan to possess it; you shall not prolong your days on it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
27ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଛିନ୍ନ ବିଛିନ୍ନ କରିବେ। ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଇେଯିବେ, ସହେି ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅଳ୍ପ ସଂଖ୍ଯକ ହାଇେ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିବ।
27Yahweh will scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the nations, where Yahweh shall lead you away.
28ସଠାେରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମନକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଯର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କାଠମଯ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମଯ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଦେଖନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, କି ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କି ଭୋଜନ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, କି ଆଘ୍ରାଣ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ଏପରି ଦବଗେଣର ସବୋ କରିବ।
28There you shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
29କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଯବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ବଷେଣ କରିବ। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ହୃଦଯତାର ସହାକା ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣ କର ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପାଇପାରିବ।
29But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you shall find him, when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
30ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିପଦ ରେ ପଡିବ ଓ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଉପରେ ଘଟିବ ସେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିବ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଶାସନ ମାନିବ।
30When you are in oppression, and all these things are come on you, in the latter days you shall return to Yahweh your God, and listen to his voice:
31ଯେ ହତେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଜଣେ ଦୟାଳକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟନ୍ତି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ କିଅବା ଶପଥ ଦ୍ବାରା ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଯେଉଁ ନିଯମ କରିଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ଭୂଲି ଯିବେ ନାହିଁ।
31for Yahweh your God is a merciful God; he will not fail you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.
32ଏହା ପୂର୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏପରି ମହାନ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କବେେ ଦେଖିଛ କି? କଦାପି ନକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହେଁ କାରଣ ଅତୀତକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦେଖ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜନ୍ମ ପୂର୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦେଖ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମନକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ଦିନଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପୃଥିବୀର ଚାରିଆଡେ ଏପରି ମହାନ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କହେି କରିଛି। ଏପରି ମହାକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଘଟିବାର ଆଉ କହେି ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣିଛ କି? ନାଁ!
32For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and from the one end of the sky to the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?
33ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣିଅଛ, ସପରେି ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର କଥା ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିବାର ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ?
33Did ever a people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?
34ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମିଶର ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ଯେ ସକଳ କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସହେିପରି ପରୀକ୍ଷାସିଦ୍ଧ ପ୍ରମାଣଦ୍ବାରା ଓ ଚିହ୍ନଦ୍ବାରା ଓ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କର୍ମଦ୍ବାରା, ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧଦ୍ବାରା, ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହସ୍ତଦ୍ବାରା, ବିସ୍ତାରିତ ବାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ବାରା ଓ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କର୍ମଦ୍ବାରା ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବାକୁ ଆସି ଉପକ୍ରମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
34Or has God tried to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Yahweh your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
35ଏହିସବୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା, ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିପାରିବ, ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟନ୍ତି, ତାଙ୍କ ଭିନ୍ନ ଆଉ କହେି ନାହିଁ।
35To you it was shown, that you might know that Yahweh he is God; there is none else besides him.
36ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆପଣା କଥା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣାଇଲେ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆପଣା ମହାଅଗ୍ନି ଦଖାଇେଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ପାରିଲ।
36Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: and on earth he made you to see his great fire; and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.
37 ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବଂଶଧର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ହିଁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ନହେ କଲେ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ମହାନ ଶକ୍ତି ବଳ ରେ ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ।
37Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;
38ସେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଧିକ ବଳବାନ ଓ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଂଖ୍ଯକ, ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତଡି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଦେଶ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରାଇଲେ ଓ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ସୂତ୍ର ରେ ଦେଲେ, ଯାହା ଆଜି ହାଇେଛି।
38to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as at this day.
39ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଜି ଏହା ଚିନ୍ତା ଓ ହୃଦଯଙ୍ଗମ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ଯେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହିଁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗର ଉପରେ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ତଳେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଅନ୍ୟ କହେି ନକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହେଁ।
39Know therefore this day, and lay it to your heart, that Yahweh he is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is none else.
40ସେଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍, ଯାହାକି ମୁ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଉଛି। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କର ମଗଂଳ ହବେ,ଏବଂ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭମାନେ ସହେି ଭୂମିରେ ଦିର୍ଘଦିନ ଧରି ବାସ କରିବ, ଯାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିରଦିନ ପାଇଁ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି।
40You shall keep his statutes, and his commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Yahweh your God gives you, forever.
41ଏହାପରେ ମାଶାେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗ ରେ ତିନୋଟି ନଗର ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ କଲେ।
41Then Moses set apart three cities beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise;
42ଯେପରି କହେି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପୂର୍ବେ ହିଂସା ନ କରି ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ସାର ରେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ, ସେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କୌଣସି ଏକ ନଗରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇ ବଞ୍ଚିପା ରେ।
42that the manslayer might flee there, who kills his neighbor unawares, and didn't hate him in time past; and that fleeing to one of these cities he might live:
43ଯଥା ରୂବନେୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପଦାଭୂମିସ୍ଥ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ରେ ବେତ୍ସର, ଗାଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ରାମାେତ୍ ଆଉ ମନଃଶୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାଶନ ରେ ଗୋଲନ୍
43namely, Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, for the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, for the Manassites.
44ଏହାପରେ ମାଶାେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖ ରେ ଏହି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା କଲେ।
44This is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel:
45ଏହିସବୁ ପ୍ରମାଣିତ ବାକ୍ଯ, ନିଯମ, ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଯାହାକି ମାଶାେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ।
45these are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which Moses spoke to the children of Israel, when they came forth out of Egypt,
46ସିୟୋନ ଦେଶ ରେ ଇ ମାରେୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା ୟିଏକି ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ବିପରିତ ପାଶର୍‌ବ ରେ ଥିବା ବୈତପିୟୋର ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖ ରେ ହିଷ୍ବୋନ୍ ଇପତ୍ଯକା ରେ ଶାସନ କରୁଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରି ଆସିବା ବେଳେ ମାଶାେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କଲେ।
46beyond the Jordan, in the valley over against Beth Peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel struck, when they came forth out of Egypt.
47ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ତା'ର ଭୂମିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାଶନର ରାଜା ଓଗ୍ର ଭୂମିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଧିକାର କଲେ। ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗ ରେ ଇମାରେୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ରାଜା ଥିଲେ।
47They took his land in possession, and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise;
48ଏହିଦେଶ ଅରୋଯରଠାେରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅର୍ନୋନ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ଧା ରେ ଧା ରେ ସିୟୋନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଅର୍ଥାତ ହର୍ମୋଣ ନାମକ ପର୍ବତ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଥିଲା।
48from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, even to Mount Sion (the same is Hermon),
49ଏବଂ ଅସଦେୋଦ୍ ପିସ୍ଗାର ଅଧଃସ୍ଥିତ ପଦା ଭୂମିରେ ସମକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପୂର୍ବ ପାରିସ୍ଥିତ ସମସ୍ତ ପଦାଭୂମି ଅଧିକାର କରିଥିଲେ।
49and all the Arabah beyond the Jordan eastward, even to the sea of the Arabah, under the slopes of Pisgah.
