ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଏକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିବାହ କରି ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲାପରେ ଯବେେ ସେ ତାହାଠା ରେ କୌଣସି ଲଜ୍ଜାକର ବିଷଯ ପାଇବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତାହାଠା ରେ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଗ୍ରହ ନପାଏ। ତବେେ ସହେି ପୁରୁଷ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଛାଡପତ୍ର ଲେଖି ତାହା ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଦଇେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରିଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।

When a man takes a wife, and marries her, then it shall be, if she find no favor in his eyes, because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

ସେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତା'ର ଗୃହରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରି ଗଲାପରେ ସେ ୟାଇଥିବା ପୁରୁଷର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ହାଇେ ପାରିବ।

When she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.

ଧରାଯାଉ ତା' ନୂତନ ସ୍ବାମୀ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭଲପାଇଲା ନାହିଁ ଓ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ଯ ଛାଡପତ୍ର ଦଲୋ କିଅବା ନୂତନ ସ୍ବାମୀର ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଏ, ତବେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତା'ର ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ବାମୀ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଉ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟନଃ ବିବାହ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ। ସେ କଳକ୍ସ୍ଟଷିତ ହାଇେ ସାରିବା ପରେ, କାରଣ ଏହି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଘୃଣ୍ଯ ଅଟେ।

If the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, who took her to be his wife;

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭମାନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଧିକାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାପରେ ଦୋଷୀ କରାଅ ନାହିଁ।

her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before Yahweh: and you shall not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance.

ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ନୂତନ ଭାବେ ବିବାହିତ ହାଇେଥାଏ ତବେେ ସେ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଲ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବନୋହିଁ। କି ଅବା ତାଙ୍କୁ କୌଣସି ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ପୂର୍ଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଭାର ଦିଆୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏକବର୍ଷ ପାଇଁ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସ୍ବାଧୀନଭାବେ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଲି ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟସି କରିବାକୁ ଦିଆୟିବ ସେ ତା'ର ନୂତନ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧରି ଗୃହ ରେ ମନୋରଞ୍ଚନ କରି, ବାସ କରିବ।

When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the host, neither shall he be charged with any business: he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

କହେି ଚକି ବା ଚକିର ଉପର ପଟ ବନ୍ଧକ ରଖିବ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତାହା କଲେ ମନକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଯର ପ୍ରାଣ ବନ୍ଧକ ରଖିବା ସହିତ ସମାନ।

No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone to pledge; for he takes a man's life to pledge.
7
ଧରାଯାଉ କୌଣସି ମନକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଯ ଯବେେ ତାଙ୍କର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅପହରଣ କରେ ଓ ସେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯଦି ଦାସରୂପେ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରେ, ବା ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିକ୍ରଯ କରେ, ତବେେ ସହେି ଅପହରଣକର୍ତ୍ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରାୟିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍କର୍ମ ଦୂର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।

If a man be found stealing any of his brothers of the children of Israel, and he deal with him as a slave, or sell him; then that thief shall die: so shall you put away the evil from the midst of you.
8
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରାତ୍ମକ ଚର୍ମ ରୋଗ ପ୍ରତି ସାବଧାନ ହବୋ ଉଚିତ୍। ଲବେୀୟ ଯାଜକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତଦନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ କର୍ମକରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯତ୍ନ ପୂର୍ବକ ମନୋୟୋଗ କର। ମୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଯେଉଁ ପରି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଅଛ ସହେିରୂପେ କରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମନୋୟୋଗ କରିବ ଉଚିତ୍।

Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that you observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so you shall observe to do.
9
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର ହାଇେ ଆସିବା ବେଳେ ପଥ ମଧିଅରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମରିଯମ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା କରିଥିଲେ ସେସବୁକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସ୍ମରଣ କର।

Remember what Yahweh your God did to Miriam, by the way as you came forth out of Egypt.
10
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀକି କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ଋଣ ଦେଲେ ତାହାର ବନ୍ଧକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଘର ଭିତରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବନାହିଁ।
10
When you do lend your neighbor any manner of loan, you shall not go into his house to get his pledge.
11
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା ବାହା ରେ ଛିଡା ହାଇେ ରହିବ। ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ଯାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଋଣ ଦଇେଅଛ, ସେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଧକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ବାହାର କରି ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିବ।

You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you do lend shall bring forth the pledge outside to you.
12
ଧରାଯାଉ, ସେ ଜଣେ ଗରିବ ଲୋକ। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା'ର ବନ୍ଧକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ରଖିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଶାଇେବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ।
12
If he be a poor man, you shall not sleep with his pledge;
13
ସେ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଘନେି ଶଯନ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯାସ୍ତ ସମୟରେ ତାହାର ବନ୍ଧକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅବଶ୍ଯ ଫରୋଇ ଦବେ। ତହିଁରେ ତାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଧାର୍ମୀକତା ହବେ।

you shall surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his garment, and bless you: and it shall be righteousness to you before Yahweh your God.
14
ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଦାପି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖି ଓ ଦରିଦ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କବେେ ଉପଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ହେଉ ବା ବିଦେଶୀଯ ହେଉ।
14
You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he be of your brothers, or of your foreigners who are in your land within your gates:
15
ସନ୍ଧ୍ଯା ପୂର୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହାର ବତନେ ଦବେ। କାରଣ ସେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖୀ ଲୋକ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ତାହାର ମନ ଥାଏ। କଜାେଣି ସେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକ ପକାଇବ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପ ହବେ।
15
in his day you shall give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down on it; for he is poor, and sets his heart on it: lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you.
16
ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବେ ନାହିଁ। କିମ୍ବା ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବେ ନାହିଁ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଲୋକ ନିଜର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଭୋଗ କରିବ।
16
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
17
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିଦେଶୀର କି ପିତୃମାତୃହୀନ ବିଗ୍ଭର ରେ ଅନ୍ଯାଯ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ବିଧବାର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ବନ୍ଧକ ରଖିବ ନାହିଁ।
17
You shall not wrest the justice due to the foreigner, or to the fatherless, nor take the widow's clothing to pledge;
18
ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିଶର ରେ ସ୍ଥାଯୀଭାବେ ଦାସ ଥିଲେ, ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସଠାେରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏକଥାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ। ଏଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି କର୍ମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେ ଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ।
18
but you shall remember that you were a bondservant in Egypt, and Yahweh your God redeemed you there: therefore I command you to do this thing.
19
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ଶସ୍ଯ କାଟିବା ବେଳେ ଗୋଟିଏ ବିଡା କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ପାସୋରି ଆସିଲେ ତାହା ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଫରେିୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ତାହା ବିଦେଶୀର, ପିତୃହୀନର ଓ ବିଧବାର ହବେ। ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତକୃତ ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବେ।
19
When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgot a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to get it: it shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow; that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
20
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଜିତ୍ବୃକ୍ଷରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫଳ ପାରିଲା ପରେ ଆଉଥରେ ଡାଳକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ତାହା ବିଦେଶୀର, ପିତୃହୀନର ଓ ବିଧବାର ହବେ।
20
When you beat your olive tree, you shall not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
21
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କଲା ବେଳେ ଆପଣା ଉତ୍ତା ରେ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ନର୍ବାର ସାଉଣ୍ଟିବ ନାହିଁ। ତାହା ବିଦେଶୀର ପିତୃହୀନର ଓ ବିଧବାର ହବେ।
21
When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it after you: it shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
22
ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଶର ଦେଶ ରେ ବନ୍ଧା ଦାସ ଥିଲ, ଏହା ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ। ଏଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି କର୍ମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଅଛୁ।
22
You shall remember that you were a bondservant in the land of Egypt: therefore I command you to do this thing.
