1ପୁଣି ମାଦୀଯ ଦାରିଯାବସର ଅଧିକାରର ପ୍ରଥମ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ଓ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଠିଆ ହେଲୁ।
1"As for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him.
2'ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ, ହେ ଦାନିୟେଲ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସତ୍ଯ କଥା ଜଣାଇବା। ପାରସ୍ଯର ଆଉ ତିନି ରାଜା ଜନ୍ମ ନବେେ। ତା'ପ ରେ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ରାଜା ଯେ ଆସିବ, ସେ ସବୁଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଧନଶାଳୀ ହବେ। ଆଉ ଆପଣା ଧନ ରେ ବଳବାନ ହବେ ଓ ଗ୍ରୀସ ରାଜ୍ଯ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତଜେିତ କରିବ।
2Now will I show you the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and when he has grown strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.
3ତା'ପ ରେ ଏକ ମହା ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ରାଜା ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହବେ, ସେ ମହା କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ ରେ ରାଜତ୍ବ କରିବ ଓ ସ୍ବେଚ୍ଛାଗ୍ଭରୀ ହାଇେ କର୍ମ କରିବ।
3A mighty king shall stand up, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
4ସହେି ରାଜା ୟିବାପ ରେ, ତାଙ୍କର ରାଜ୍ଯ ଗ୍ଭରିଭାଗ ରେ ବିଭକ୍ତ ହବେ। ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଭୁତ୍ବ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ନାତିଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଦିଆୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏହା ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ବଣ୍ଟନ ହବେ। ସହେି ରାଜ୍ଯଗୁଡିକ ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜ୍ଯପରି ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
4When he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of the sky, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides these.
5ଦକ୍ଷିଣର ରାଜା ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବେେ କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଙ୍କର ସନୋପତିମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବେ। ସେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବୃହତ୍ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ରାଜତ୍ବ କରିବ।
5The king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
6'ମାତ୍ର କିଛି ବର୍ଷ ପ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହବେେ। ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ରାଜ୍ଯର ରାଜକନ୍ଯା ଉତ୍ତରର ରାଜାକୁ ବିବାହ କରିବେ ମାତ୍ର ସହେି ରାଜକୁମାରୀ ନିଜ ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ହରାଇବେ, ତା'ର ସ୍ବାମୀ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହବେେ। ସେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବାମୀ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏବଂ ତାହାର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ହସ୍ତାନ୍ତର କରାୟିବ।
6At the end of years they shall join themselves together; and the daughter of the king of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the strength of her arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm; but she shall be given up, and those who brought her, and he who became the father of her, and he who strengthened her in those times.
7ମାତ୍ର ତାହାର ପରିବାରରୁ କହେି ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ। ଏବଂ ସହେି ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ସେ ଜଯୟୁକ୍ତ ହବେ।
7But out of a shoot from her roots shall one stand up in his place, who shall come to the army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail.
8ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରତିମାଗୁଡିକୁ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦବଗେଣଙ୍କୁ ଓ ସୁନା ରୂପାର ମନୋହର ପାତ୍ରଗୁଡିକୁ ମିଶରକୁ ନଇୟିବେ। କିଛି ବର୍ଷ ପାଇଁ ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶୀଯ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଆଉ ବିବ୍ରତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
8Also their gods, with their molten images, and with their goodly vessels of silver and of gold, shall he carry captive into Egypt; and he shall refrain some years from the king of the north.
9ଉତ୍ତରର ରାଜା ଦକ୍ଷିଣର ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ହାରି ଆପଣା ଦେଶକୁ ଫରେିୟିବ।
9He shall come into the realm of the king of the south, but he shall return into his own land.
10ଆଉ ତାହା ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଏକ ବିରାଟ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବେ। ଆଉ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ରେ ସମାନେେ ବନ୍ଯାଜଳ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଉଚ୍ଛୁଳି ବହିଯିବେ। ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଦୁର୍ଗ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ।
10His sons shall war, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall come on, and overflow, and pass through; and they shall return and war, even to his fortress.
11ସେତବେେଳେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶର ରାଜା କୋରଧାନ୍ବିତ ହାଇେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶୀଯ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହବେେ। ଯଦିଓ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶୀଯ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ବୃହତ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ଥିବ, ତଥାପି ସେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ହାରିବ।
11The king of the south shall be moved with anger, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north; and he shall set forth a great multitude, and the multitude shall be given into his hand.
12ଉତ୍ତରର ରାଜା ହାରିବା ପ ରେ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀକରି ନିଆୟିବ ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶର ରାଜା ଗର୍ବିତ ହାଇେ ହଜାର ହଜାର ସୈନ୍ଯଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବ। ତଥାପି ସେ ନିଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ରେ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ।
12The multitude shall be lifted up, and his heart shall be exalted; and he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail.
13ଆଉ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ଫରେି ଏକ ବୃହତ୍ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବାହିନୀ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବ। ବହୁ ବର୍ଷ ପ ରେ ପୂର୍ବାପେକ୍ଷା ବିପୁଳ ସୈନ୍ଯ ସାମନ୍ତ ନଇେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ। ସହେି ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ବିପୁଳ ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ଶସ୍ତ୍ର ରହିବ ଓ ସମାନେେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହାଇେ ରହିବେ।
13The king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former; and he shall come on at the end of the times, even of years, with a great army and with much substance.
14ସେ ସମୟରେ ଅନକେ ଲୋକ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଉଠିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀମାନେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶୀଯ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଏହି ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଁ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ ପତିତ ହବେେ।
14In those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the children of the violent among your people shall lift themselves up to establish the vision; but they shall fall.
15ଏହି ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ଆସିବ ଓ ଗଡବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ସୁଦୃଢ ନଗର ହସ୍ତଗତ କରିବ। ସେତବେେଳେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶର ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ଓ ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ଏପରିକି ମହାଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବାଧା ଦଇେ ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
15So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mound, and take a well-fortified city: and the forces of the south shall not stand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to stand.
16ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ନିଜ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସା ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ। ତା'ର ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ କହେି ଠିଆ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ସେ ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ଦେଶ ରେ ଠିଆ ହବେ ଓ ତାହା ହସ୍ତ ରେ ବିନାଶର ଶକ୍ତି ରହିବ।
16But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him; and he shall stand in the glorious land, and in his hand shall be destruction.
17ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଲଗାଇବ। ସେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶର ରାଜା ସହିତ ଏକ ଶାନ୍ତି ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିବ। ଏହାକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ନିଜ କନ୍ଯାଗଣ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣକୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣର ରାଜା ସହିତ ବିବାହ ଦବେ। ତା'ର ଯୋଜନା ଫଳପ୍ରଦ ଦବେ ନାହିଁ କି ତାକୁ କହେି ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
17He shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and with him equitable conditions; and he shall perform them: and he shall give him the daughter of women, to corrupt her; but she shall not stand, neither be for him.
18ଏହାପ ରେ ସେ ଉପକୂଳବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟାଇ ଅନକଙ୍କେୁ କାବୁ କରିବ। ମାତ୍ର ଜଣେ ଅଧିପତି ତାକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବ। ସେ ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟାଇ ତାକୁ ଅପମାନିତ କରିବ।
18After this shall he turn his face to the isles, and shall take many: but a prince shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; yes, moreover, he shall cause his reproach to turn on him.
19ଏହାପ ରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ଦେଶର ଦୁର୍ଗ ଆଡେ ଫରେିବ ମାତ୍ର ସଠାେ ରେ ତା'ର ପତନ ଘଟିବ ଓ ସେ ଶଷେ ହବେ।
19Then he shall turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land; but he shall stumble and fall, and shall not be found.
20ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତେ ଜଣେ ନୂତନ ରାଜା ଆସିବେ। ସେ ରାଜା ଜଣଙ୍କ ରାଜକୀଯ ପରିବାରରୁ ଆସିବେ ନାହିଁ। ନିଜର ସୁଖ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଁ ଧନ ଉପାର୍ଜନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଣେ କରଆଦାଯକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ନିୟୁକ୍ତି କରିବ। ମାତ୍ର ଅଳ୍ପଦିନ ପ ରେ, ସେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ, ମାତ୍ର କୋରଧ ରେ ନୁହେଁ କି ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ନୁହେଁ।
20Then shall stand up in his place one who shall cause a tax collector to pass through the kingdom to maintain its glory; but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
21ଜଣେ ନିଷ୍ଠୁର ଓ ଘୃଣ୍ଯ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କ ପ ରେ ରାଜ୍ଯ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ନିରାପଦ ସମୟରେ ଆସିବ ଓ ଗ୍ଭଟବାକ୍ଯଦ୍ବାରା ରାଜ୍ଯ ପାଇବ।
21In his place shall stand up a contemptible person, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in time of security, and shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
22ସେ ବୃହତ ଓ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବ ଓ ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ମନୋନୀତ ଅଧିପତିକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବ।
22The overwhelming forces shall be overwhelmed from before him, and shall be broken; yes, also the prince of the covenant.
23ବହୁଦେଶ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଚୁକ୍ତି ସ୍ଥିର କରିବେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ପ୍ରତାରଣା ପୂର୍ବକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ। କାରଣ ସେ ଅଳ୍ପ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ହବେ।
23After the league made with him he shall work deceitfully; for he shall come up, and shall become strong, with a small people.
24ଯେତବେେଳେ ଧନଶାଳୀ ଦେଶଗୁଡିକ ନିରାପଦ ଅନୁଭବ କରିବେ, ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ। ତାହା ପିତୃ ପିତାମହଗଣ ଯାହା କରିନଥିଲେ ସେ ତାହା କରିବ। ସେ ତାକୁ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଲୁଣ୍ଠିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଅପହୃତ ବସ୍ତୁ ଓ ଧନ ବାଣ୍ଟି ଦବେ। ସେ ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ସଫଳ ହବେ।
24In time of security shall he come even on the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance: yes, he shall devise his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.
25ପୁଣି ସେ ମହା ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ନଇେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆପଣା ବଳ ଓ ସାହାସ ଦଖାଇବେ। ତେଣୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶର ରାଜା ଅତି ବୃହତ୍ ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଘନେି ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ସ୍ଥିର ହାଇେ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ନାନା କୌଶଳ କଳ୍ପନା କରିବେ।
25He shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall war in battle with an exceeding great and mighty army; but he shall not stand; for they shall devise devices against him.
26ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତା'ର ସପକ୍ଷ ରେ ଥିବେ ସମାନେେ ତାକୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବେ। ତା'ର ସୌନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ପରାସ୍ତ ହେଲାପ ରେ ବହୁସୈନ୍ଯ ନିହତ ହବେେ।
26Yes, they who eat of his dainties shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow; and many shall fall down slain.
27ପୁଣି ଦୁଇ ରାଜା ପରସ୍ପରର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଏକା ମଜେ ଉପ ରେ ବସି ପରସ୍ପର ମିଥ୍ଯା କଥା କହିବେ। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ ସଫଳ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସମାପ୍ତ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ସମୟ ନିରୂପଣ କରିବେ।
27As for both these kings, their hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table: but it shall not prosper; for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
28ତା'ପ ରେ ଉତ୍ତରର ରାଜା ଅନକେ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ନଇେ ନିଜ ଦେଶକୁ ଫରେିୟିବ। ତା'ର ଚିତ୍ତ ପବିତ୍ର ଚୁକ୍ତିର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ରେ ୟିବ। ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ ଏବଂ ନିଜ ଇଚ୍ଛା ରେ କର୍ମ କରିବ।
28Then shall he return into his land with great substance; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do his pleasure, and return to his own land.
29'ନିରୂପିତ ସମୟରେ ସେ ପୁଣି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟିବ। ମାତ୍ର ପୂର୍ବପରି ସେ ଆଉ ସଫଳ ହବେନାହିଁ।
29At the time appointed he shall return, and come into the south; but it shall not be in the latter time as it was in the former.
30କାରଣ କିତ୍ତିମର ଜାହାଜ ସବୁ ତା'ର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆସିବ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେ, ଦୁଃଖିତ ହାଇେ ଫରେିୟିବ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ଚୁକ୍ତିର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ରେ କୋର୍ଧ କରି ସ୍ବେଚ୍ଛାମତେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ। ସେ ଫରେିୟାଇ ପବିତ୍ର ଚୁକ୍ତି ଭଙ୍ଗକାରୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟୋଗ ଦବେ।
30For ships of Kittim shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and shall return, and have indignation against the holy covenant, and shall do his pleasure: he shall even return, and have regard to those who forsake the holy covenant.
31ଉତ୍ତରର ରାଜା ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ପଠାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ମନ୍ଦିର ତିଆରି କଲେ ଏବଂ ଦୂର୍ଗକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ନିତ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବେ ଏବଂ ଅତି ମନ୍ଦ ଘୃଣା ପ୍ରତି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ।
31Forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt offering, and they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.
32' ସେ ଅବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ୟିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛଳନା କଥା କହି, ବିପଥଗାମୀ କରିବେ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ୟିହୁଦୀମାନେ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ବୋଲି ଜାଣନ୍ତି ସମାନେେ ମହତ୍କର୍ମ କରିବେ।
32Such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ, ସମାନେେ ଅନକଙ୍କେୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦବେେ। ତଥାପି ବହୁଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମାନେେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ, ଅଗ୍ନି ଶିଖା ରେ, ବନ୍ଦୀ ଅବସ୍ଥା ରେ ଓ ଲୁଟ ରେ ପତିତ ହବେେ।
33Those who are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, many days.
34ଯେ ତବେଳେ ସମାନେେ ପତିତ ହବେେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଅଳ୍ପ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେେ। ମାତ୍ର ଅନକେେ ଗ୍ଭଟୁକାର ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୋଗ ହବେେ।
34Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help; but many shall join themselves to them with flatteries.
35କେତକେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ପତନ ଘଟିବ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଭୁଲ କରିବେ। ମାତ୍ର ସହେି ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନିର୍ମଳ, ପରିଷ୍କୃତ ଓ ଶୁକ୍ଲୀକୃତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶଷେ ସମୟ ପତିତ ହବେେ। ସହେି ସମୟ ଆସିବ ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କରିବେ।'
35Some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.
36ଉତ୍ତରର ରାଜା ନିଜ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ କର୍ମ କରିବ। ସମସ୍ତ ଦବେତାଠାରୁ ନିଜକୁ ବଡ ବୋଲି ସେ ଗର୍ବ କରିବ। ପୁଣି ସେ ଇଶ୍ବରଗଣଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ କଥା କହିବ। ତା'ର କୋରଧ ଫଳବତି ନ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସେ ସଫଳ ହବେେ। କାରଣ ଯାହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଯୋଜନା କରିଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ହବେ।
36The king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods; and he shall prosper until the indignation be accomplished; for that which is determined shall be done.
37ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଗଣର ପ୍ରତିମାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାନିବ ନାହିଁ। ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ କୌଣସି ଦବେତାଙ୍କୁ ମାନିବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କଠାରୁ ନିଜକୁ ବଡ ମନେ କରିବ।
37Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all.
38ସହେି ରାଜା କବଳେ ଶକ୍ତିର ଦବେତାକୁ ଆରାଧନା କରିବ। ସେ ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ସାମର୍ଥକୁ ଆରାଧନା କରିବ। ସେ ତାହାର ପୂର୍ବ ପୁରୁଷଗଣର ଦବେତାଙ୍କୁ ଆରାଧନା କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ଶକ୍ତିର ଦବେତାଙ୍କୁ ସୁନା, ରୂପା ଓ ମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ ପଥର ଦଇେ ଆରାଧନା କରିବ।
38But in his place shall he honor the god of fortresses; and a god whom his fathers didn't know shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39ସେ ବିଦେଶୀଯ ଦବେତା ଶକ୍ତିର ଦବେତାର ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ, ମଜ୍ବୁତ୍ ଦୁର୍ଗର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ। ଯେ କହେି ତାକୁ ସ୍ବୀକାର କରିବ ସେ ତାହାର ଗୌରବ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବ ଓ ଅନକଙ୍କେ ଉପ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ ପଦ ଦବେ ଓ ଟଙ୍କା ପରିବର୍ତେ ଭୂମି ବିଭାଗ କରିବ।
39He shall deal with the strongest fortresses by the help of a foreign god: whoever acknowledges him he will increase with glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for a price.
40ଆଉ ଅନ୍ତିମ କାଳ ରେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦେଶର ରାଜା ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ବି ରୋଧ କରିବ। ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ରଥ ଅଶ୍ବାରୋହୀଗଣ ଓ ଅନକେ ଜାହାଜ ନଇେ ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବାଯୁତୁଲ୍ଯ ଆସିବ। ସେ ନାନା ଦେଶ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ବନ୍ଯା ପରି ବହିୟିବ।
40At the time of the end shall the king of the south contend with him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass through.
41ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ରମ୍ଯ ଦେଶ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ ତହିଁରେ ଅନକେ ଦେଶ ପରାସ୍ତ ହବେେ। ମାତ୍ର ଇଦୋମ, ମାୟୋବ ଓ ଅମାନେ ଓ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଅଧିପତି ତାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବେ।
41He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42ଆହୁରୀ ସେ ନାନା ଦେଶ ମଧିଅରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ପ୍ରସାରିବ ଓ ମିଶର ମଧ୍ଯ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
42He shall stretch forth his hand also on the countries; and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43ସେ ମିଶର ଦେଶ ରେ ସୁନା ଓ ରୂପାର ଭଣ୍ତାର ସକଳ ଓ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ସବୁ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତଗତ ହବେ। ଆଉ ଲୁଦିଯ କୂଶୀଯମାନେ ତା'ର ଅନୁଚର ହବେେ।
43But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44ମାତ୍ର ପୂର୍ବ ଓ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶରୁ ଆଗତ ସମ୍ବାଦ ତାହାକୁ ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ କରିବ। ତହିଁରେ ସେ ଅନକଙ୍କେୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ଓ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣରୂପେ ବିନାଶ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମହା କୋପ ରେ ୟାତ୍ରା କରିବ।
44But news out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him; and he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many.
45ଏବଂ ସେ ସାଗର ଓ ରମ୍ଯ ପବିତ୍ର ପର୍ବତର ମଧିଅରେ ଆପଣା ରାଜକୀଯ ତମ୍ବୁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ। ଆଉ ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତିମ କାଳ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହବେ ଓ କହେି ତାହାକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।'
45He shall plant the tents of his palace between the sea and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
