ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାହେର ଟକିଏ ମୂର୍ଖତା ସହି ନଇେଥିଲେ ଭଲ ହାଇେଥାନ୍ତା। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସତ ରେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ସହିଷ୍ଣୁ ଅଛ।

I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness, but indeed you do bear with me.
2
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଇର୍ଷା କରିଲି, ଏହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦତ୍ତ ମନୋଭାବ। ମୁଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସତୀକନ୍ଯା ହବୋ ପାଇଁ ତାହାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ସମର୍ପିତ କରିବି।

For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

ସେ କବଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ବାମୀ ହବେେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଭୟ କରୁଛି ଯେ, ଯେପରି ହବ୍ବା ସର୍ପର ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହାଇେଥିଲା, ସହେି ଭଳି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମନ ମଧ୍ଯ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସତ୍ଯ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ସମର୍ପଣ ଠାରୁ ଦୂରକୁ ଚାଲି ୟିବ।

But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଛୁ, ତାହାଠାରୁ ଭିନ୍ନ କଥା କହେି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ବିଷୟ ରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲେ, ଅଥବା ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଯେଉଁ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ବା ସୁସମାଚାର ବିଷୟ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଛ, ତା'ଠାରୁ ଭିନ୍ନ ଅନ୍ୟ ଆତ୍ମା ବା ସୁସମାଚାର ବିଷୟ ରେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ କୁହନ୍ତି, ସେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ ପୂର୍ବକ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଠାରୁ ଶୁଣୁଛ।

For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different gospel, which you did not accept, you put up with that well enough.

ମୁଁ ଭାବୁ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, ସହେି ମହାନ ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନେ ମାେ ଠାରୁ କୌଣସି ଗୁଣ ରେ ଅଧିକ।

For I reckon that I am not at all behind the very best apostles.

ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ ଯେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷିତ ବକ୍ତା ନୁହେଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମାରେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଅଛି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି କଥାଟିକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସବୁ ପ୍ରକାର ରେ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ଭାବରେ ଦଖାଇେ ଦଇେଛୁ।

But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not unskilled in knowledge. No, in every way we have been revealed to you in all things.

ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନା ମୂଲ୍ଯ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସୁସମାଚାର ଦଇେଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମହତପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ନମ୍ର ହାଇେ ଯାଇଥିଲି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ଭାବୁଛ ଯେ ମୁଁ ଭୁଲ କରିଥିଲି ?

Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you God's gospel free of charge?

ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଅନ୍ୟ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀମାନଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଅର୍ଥ (ବା ସମାନେେ ଦରିଦ୍ର ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେଠାରୁ ଅର୍ଥ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା) ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛି।

I robbed other assemblies, taking wages from them that I might serve you.

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଥିବା ବେଳେ, ମାରେ ଆବଶ୍ଯକତା ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ହଇରାଣ କରି ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁ ଭାଇମାନେ ମାକିଦନିଆରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ ସମାନେେ ମାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଆବଶ୍ଯକତା ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପୂରଣ କଲେ। ମୁଁ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବୋଝ ହାଇେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ କଦାପି ହବେି ନାହିଁ।

When I was present with you and was in need, I wasn't a burden on anyone, for the brothers, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my need. In everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and I will continue to do so.

ମୁଁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଥାଇ ସତ୍ଯକହୁଛି, ସହେି ବିଷୟ ରେ ଗର୍ବ ପୂର୍ବକ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ମାେତେ ସମଗ୍ର ଆଖାଯା ରେ କହେି ଅଟକାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

As the truth of Christ is in me, no one will stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
11
ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବୋଝ ହେଉ ନାହିଁ ? ଏହା କ'ଣ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଯେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭଲ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ ? ନା, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଜାଣନ୍ତି ଯେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭଲ ପାଏ।

Why? Because I don't love you? God knows.

ମୁଁ ଯାହା କରୁଛି, ତାହା କରି ଚାଲି ଥିବି। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଗର୍ବ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେପରି କୌଣସି କାରଣ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଏପରି କରିଚାଲିଥିବି।

But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them that desire an occasion, that in which they boast, they may be found even as we.

ସମାନେେ ସବୁବେଳେ ଦେଖଇବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଯେଉଁ କାରଣ ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଗର୍ବ କରୁଛୁ, ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଭଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ ରରେିତ। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରତାରକ। ଲୋକେ ଯେପରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ପ୍ ରରେିତ ବୋଲି ଭାବିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସମାନେେ ନିଜର ବେଶ ବଦଳାଇଥାନ୍ତି।

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ's apostles.

ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଲାଗୁ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଏପରି କି ଶୟତାନ ନିଜେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତଜେସ୍ବୀ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତର ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରେ।

And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.
15
ଅତଏବ, ତା'ର ସବେକମାନେ ଯଦି ଧାର୍ମିକତାର ସବେକରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ଏହା କ'ଣ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯର କଥା ? କିନ୍ତୁ ଶଷେ ରେ ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ କର୍ମ ପାଇଁ ଅବଶ୍ଯ ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବେ।

It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
16
ମୁଁ ପୁନର୍ବାର କହୁଛି, କହେି ମାେତେ ମୂର୍ଖ ବୋଲି ଭାବିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେତେ ମୂର୍ଖ ବୋଲି ଭାବ, ତା ହେଲେ ମୂର୍ଖକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲାଭଳି ମାେତେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର।

I say again, let no one think me foolish. But if so, yet receive me as foolish, that I also may boast a little.

ତା ହେଲେ ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ସାମାନ୍ଯ ଗର୍ବ କରି ପାରିବି। ଯେପରି ପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଥାନ୍ତେ, ଯେପରି ମୁଁ କହୁ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ମୂର୍ଖ ଭଳି ଗର୍ବ କରେ।
17
That which I speak, I don't speak according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.
18
ଅନକେ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସାଂସାରିକ ଜୀବନ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ କରନ୍ତି, ସହେି ଭଳି ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଗର୍ବ କରୁଛି।

Seeing that many boast after the flesh, I will also boast.
19
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ହାଇେଥିବାରୁ ଖୁସି ରେ ମୂର୍ଖମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସହନଶୀଳ ହୁଅ।

For you bear with the foolish gladly, being wise.
20
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦାସ ଭଳି ବ୍ଯବହାର କରୁଥିବା, ଫାନ୍ଦ ରେ ପକାଇ ଧରୁଥିବା, ନିଜକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବଡ଼ ବୋଲି କହୁଥିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗାଲ ରେ ଚାପୁଡ଼ା ମାରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସହନଶୀଳ ହାଇେଛ।
20
For you bear with a man, if he brings you into bondage, if he devours you, if he takes you captive, if he exalts himself, if he strikes you on the face.
21
ଏହା କହିବା ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଲଜ୍ଜାଜନକ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏପରି କରିବା ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅତି ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହାଇଯୋଇଛୁ।
21
I speak by way of disparagement, as though we had been weak. Yet however any is bold (I speak in foolishness), I am bold also.
22
ସମାନେେ କବଳେ କ'ଣ ଏବ୍ରୀ ? ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ।

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I.

ସମାନେେ କ'ଣ କବଳେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ? ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ। ସମାନେେ କ'ଣ କବଳେ ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ ବଂଶଧାରୀ ? ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ। ସମାନେେ କ'ଣ କବଳେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ସବେକ ? ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ମୁଁ କ'ଣ ପାଗଳ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଏପରି ଦର୍ପ କରୁଛି ? ସମାନଙ୍କେ ତୁଳନା ରେ ମୁଁ ଅଧିକ କଠାେର ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିଛି। ମୁଁ ଥରକୁ ଥର କାରାବରଣ କରିଛି। ମାେତେ ଥରକୁ ଥର ମାଡ଼ ମରାଯାଇଛି। ଅନକେ ଥର ମୁଁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁର ସନ୍ନିକଟ ହାଇେଛି।

Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as one beside himself) I am more so; in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in deaths often.
24
ମୁଁ ୟିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ପାଞ୍ଚ ଥର ରେ ଅଣଚାଳିଶି ଥର ଚାବୁକ ମାଡ଼ ଖାଇଛି।

Five times from the Jews I received forty stripes minus one.
25
ମୁଁ ତିନିଥର ବତେ ମାଡ଼ ଖାଇଛି, ଥରେ ପଥର ଆଘାତ ସହିଛି। ଏହା ଛଡ଼ା ମୁଁ ତିନି ଥର ଜାହାଜ ଭାଙ୍ଗିବା ବେଳେ ସେଥି ରେ ଥିଲି, ତା'ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଥରେ ରାତି ଓ ତା ଆର ଦିନ ଯାକ ସମୁଦ୍ର ରେ ପଡ଼ି ରହିଥିଲି।

Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I suffered shipwreck. I have been a night and a day in the deep.

ମୁଁ ଅନକେ ଥର ଯାତ୍ରା କରିଛି। ଏହି ଯାତ୍ରା ମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ନଦୀ ରେ ଲୁଣ୍ଠନକାରୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମାରେନିଜ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ, ଅଣଯିହୂଦୀ ମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମୁଁ ବିପଦ ରେ ଥିଲି। ନଗର ମାନଙ୍କ ରେ, ନିର୍ଜନ ସ୍ଥାନ ଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ, ଏବଂ ସମୁଦ୍ର ରେ, ମଧ୍ଯ ମୁଁ ବିପଦ ରେ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲି। ଯେଉଁଲୋକମାନେ ମିଛ ରେ ଭାଇ ବୋଲାଉ ଥିଲେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ବିପଦ ରେ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲି।

I have been in travels often, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from my countrymen, perils from the Gentiles, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils in the sea, perils among false brothers;
27
ମୁଁ କଠାେର ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରି କ୍ଲାନ୍ତିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରିଛି। ଅନକେ ଥର ମୁଁ ଶୋଇ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ଅନାହାର ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ଗତି କରିଛି। ଅନକେ ଥର ମାେ ପାଖ ରେ ଖାଇବାକୁ କିଛି ନ ଥାଏ। ଲୁଗାପଟା ବିନା ଥଣ୍ଡା ରେ ମୁଁ ରହିଛି।

in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, and in cold and nakedness.

ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ଯ ଅନକେ ଗୁଡ଼ିଏ ସମସ୍ଯା ଦଇେ ମୁଁ ଗତି କରିଛି। ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ହେଲା ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ମାନଙ୍କର ଚିନ୍ତା, ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ସହେି ଚିନ୍ତା ରେ ମୁଁ ରହୁଛି।

Besides those things that are outside, there is that which presses on me daily, anxiety for all the assemblies.
29
ଯଦି ଜଣେ କହେି ଦୁର୍ବଳ, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦୁର୍ବଳ। ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ପାପରେ ଚାଲିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତ ହୁଏ, ତବେେ ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ତର ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଅନୁଭବ କରେ।

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I don't burn with indignation?
30
ଯଦି ମାରେ ଦର୍ପ (ଗର୍ବ) କରିବା କଥା, ତା' ହେଲେ ମୁଁ ମାେ ନିଜର ଦୁର୍ବଳତା ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ କରିବି।
30
If I must boast, I will boast of the things that concern my weakness.
31
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଜାଣନ୍ତି ଯେ, ମୁଁ ମିଥ୍ଯା କହୁ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ପିତା।
31
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, he who is blessed forevermore, knows that I don't lie.
32
ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ପ୍ରଶଂସିତ ହବୋ କଥା। ମୁଁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଦମ୍ମସକଠାେ ରେ ଥିଲି, ଅରିତ଼ସ୍ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯପାଳ ନଗରର ଚାରି ପଟେ ପ୍ରହରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ରଖି ମାେତେ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିଥିଲେ।

In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king guarded the city of the Damascenes desiring to arrest me.

କିନ୍ତୁ ସହର ପାଚରେୀ ରେ ଥିବା ଗୋଟିଏ ଝରକା ବାଟ ଦଇେ, ଗୋଟିଏ ବାକ୍ସ ରେ ବସାଇ ମାେତେ କେତକେ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ବାହାରକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ନିଆ ୟିବାରୁ ମୁଁ ରାଜ୍ଯପାଳଙ୍କ ହାତରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇ ଗଲି।

Through a window I was let down in a basket by the wall, and escaped his hands.
