1ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶ ରେ ସାତମାସ ରହିଲା।
1The ark of Yahweh was in the country of the Philistines seven months.
2ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ, ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡକାଇ କହିଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ସହ ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ କରିବାକୁ ହବେ? ଦୟାକରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ, କିପରି ଭାବରେ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରୋଇବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହବେ।
2The Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, "What shall we do with the ark of Yahweh? Show us with which we shall send it to its place."
3ତହିଁରେ ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଫରୋଇ ଦବେ, ତବେେ ତାହା ଖାଲି ପଠାଅ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦୂ ରଇେ ୟିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ସହିତ ଉପହାର ଓ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ପଠାଅ। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟସ୍ଥ ହବେ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ହବେ, ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କଳ୍ପନା କରିବ, କାହିଁକି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ ବନ୍ଦ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
3They said, "If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, don't send it empty; but by all means return him a trespass-offering: then you shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you."
4ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କି ପ୍ରକାର ଉପହାର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇବା ଉଚିତ୍?
4Then they said, "What shall be the trespass-offering which we shall return to him?" They said, "Five golden tumors, and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines; for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.
5ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଅର୍ଶ ପ୍ରତିମା ଓ ଦେଶନାଶକାରୀ ମୂଷିକ ପ୍ରତିମା ନିର୍ମାଣ କର। ଯେଉଁଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭୂମିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦିଅ। ତା ହେଲେ ସେ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଏତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦବେତାଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦଣ୍ତିତ କରିବା ବନ୍ଦ କରିବ।
5Therefore you shall make images of your tumors, and images of your mice that mar the land; and you shall give glory to the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.
6ମିସ୍ରୀଯମାନେ ଓ ଫାରୋ କଲାପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ହୃଦଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କଠିନ କର ନାହିଁ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନିର୍ମମ ଭାବରେ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶର ଛାଡିବା ପାଇଁ ଦେଲେ।
6Why then do you harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When he had worked wonderfully among them, didn't they let the people go, and they departed?
7 ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ନୂଆ ଶଗଡ ପ୍ରସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟତ କର, ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଟି ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଆଳି ୟୋଚ ହାଇେ ନଥିବା ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟହାଳି ଗାଈ ଆଣ। ଏହିପରି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଗାଭୀ ଶଗଡ ରେ ୟୋଚ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବାଛକ୍ସ୍ଟରିକି ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟହାଳ ରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତୀ କର।
7Now therefore take and prepare yourselves a new cart, and two milk cattle, on which there has come no yoke; and tie the cattle to the cart, and bring their calves home from them;
8ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେି ଶଗଡ ଉପରେ ରଖ ଓ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ନକ୍ସାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଥଳି ଭିତ ରେ ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ପାଶର୍‌ବ ରେ ରଖ। ଏହିସବୁ ନକ୍ସାଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାର। ତା'ପରେ ଶଗଡକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତା'ର ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ପଠାଇ ଦିଅ।
8and take the ark of Yahweh, and lay it on the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which you return him for a trespass-offering, in a coffer by the side of it; and send it away, that it may go.
9ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ରଖ। ଯଦି ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭର ସୀମା ଦଇେ ବୈଥ୍ଶମେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଏ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ହୃଦ୍ ବୋଧ କରିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏହି ବିପତ୍ତି ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି। ଯଦି ଏହା ସିଧା ବୈଥ୍ଶମେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଏ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିନାହିଁ। ଏହା ଦବୈାତ୍ ଘଟିୟାଇଛି।
9Behold; if it goes up by the way of its own border to Beth-shemesh, then he has done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that struck us; it was a chance that happened to us."
10ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ଏହା କହିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଯାହା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଲେ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହା କଲେ, ଏବଂ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଟି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟହାଁଳି ଗାଈକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶଗଡ ରେ ୟୋଚି ଦେଲେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବାଛକ୍ସ୍ଟରିଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟହାଳ ରେ ବାନ୍ଧି ଦେଲେ।
10The men did so, and took two milk cattle, and tied them to the cart, and shut up their calves at home;
11ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ଶଗଡ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଓ ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣମୂଷିକ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଅର୍ଶ ପ୍ରତିମାର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ରଖିଲେ।
11and they put the ark of Yahweh on the cart, and the coffer with the mice of gold and the images of their tumors.
12ସେତବେେଳେ ସହେି ଗାଭୀମାନେ ସଳଖ ପଥଧରି ବୈଥ-ଶମେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ; ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବାମ କିମ୍ବା ଡାହାଣକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଲିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ରାସ୍ତାସାରା ହମ୍ବା ରବ କରୁଥିଲେ, ଆଉ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପେଛ ପେଛ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ବୈଥ୍ଶମେଶ ସୀମା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଗଲେ।
12The cattle took the straight way by the way to Beth-shemesh; they went along the highway, lowing as they went, and didn't turn aside to the right hand or to the left; and the lords of the Philistines went after them to the border of Beth-shemesh.
13ସହେି ସମୟରେ ବୈଥ-ଶମେଶର ଲୋକମାନେ ତଳଭୂମିରେ ଗହମ ଅମଳ କରୁଥିଲେ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଆଖି ଉଠାଇଲେ, ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଦେଖିଲେ ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେଲେ।
13They of Beth-shemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley; and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it.
14ଏବଂ ବୈଥ୍-ଶମେଶ ରେ ୟିହୋଶୂଯ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଲୋକର କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ଶଗଡଟି ପହଞ୍ଚିଲାପରେ, ଏହା ଏକ ବିରାଟ ପଥର ନିକଟରେ ଅଟକି ଗଲା।
14The cart came into the field of Joshua the Beth-shemite, and stood there, where there was a great stone: and they split the wood of the cart, and offered up the cattle for a burnt offering to Yahweh.
15ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ଥଳି ଭିତ ରେ ଥିବା ସକ୍ସ୍ଟବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ନକ୍ସାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିରାଟ ପଥର ଉପରେ ରଖିଲେ।
15The Levites took down the ark of Yahweh, and the coffer that was with it, in which the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone: and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day to Yahweh.
16ତହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଅଧିପତି ତାହା ଦେଖି ସହେିଦିନ ଇକ୍ରୋଣକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ।
16When the five lords of the Philistines had seen it, they returned to Ekron the same day.
17ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ଅବର୍କ୍ସ୍ଟଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ: ଅସଦୋଦ୍ ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ, ଘସା ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ, ଅସ୍କିଲୋନ ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ, ଗାଥ୍ ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଏବଂ ଇକୋର୍ଣ ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ।
17These are the golden tumors which the Philistines returned for a trespass-offering to Yahweh: for Ashdod one, for Gaza one, for Ashkelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one;
18ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟବର୍ଣର ମୂଷିକମାନଙ୍କର ନକ୍ସା ପଠାଇଲେ। ଏହି ସକ୍ସ୍ଟବର୍ଣ ମୂଷିକମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ପାଞ୍ଚଜଣ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଶାସକମାନଙ୍କର ନଗରର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ସହିତ ସମାନ। ଏହି ନଗରର ଗ୍ଭରିପଟେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ଓ ଗ୍ରାମ ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ଥିଲା। ବୈଥ୍-ଶମେଶର ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନିଯମ-ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ପଥର ଉପରେ ରଖିଲେ।
18and the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fortified cities and of country villages, even to the great stone, whereon they set down the ark of Yahweh, which stone remains to this day in the field of Joshua the Beth-shemite.
19ବୈଥ-ଶମେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅନାଇବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ, ବୈଥ୍-ଶମେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସତକ୍ସ୍ଟରି ଜଣ ହତ୍ଯା ହେଲେ। ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଭାବରେ ଦଣ୍ତିତ କରିଥିବାର ଲୋକମାନେ ବିଳାପ କଲେ।
19He struck of the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of Yahweh, he struck of the people fifty thousand seventy men; and the people mourned, because Yahweh had struck the people with a great slaughter.
20ଏବଂ ବୈଥ-ଶମେଶର ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପବିତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ରେ କିଏ ଛିଡା ହାଇପୋ ରେ? ଏଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କେଉଁଠାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏହି ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିଆୟିବ?
20The men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Yahweh, this holy God? and to whom shall he go up from us?
21ତହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ସମାନେେ କିରିଯଥ୍-ୟିଯାରୀମୀଯ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦୂତଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇ କହିଲେ, ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଫରୋଇ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆସ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନଗରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଇୟୋଅ।
21They sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim, saying, The Philistines have brought back the ark of Yahweh; come you down, and bring it up to you.
