ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ମିଶର ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବା ପରେ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ବର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ଓ ସିବ୍ ନାମକ ବର୍ଷର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମାସ ରେ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମାନାର୍ଥେ 480 ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଲାଗିଲା।

It happened in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yahweh.

ଶଲୋମନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମାନାର୍ଥେ ଯେଉଁ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ ତାହାର ଲମ୍ବ ଷାଠିଏ ହାତ, ପ୍ରସ୍ଥ କୋଡିଏ ହାତ ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚତା ତିରିଶ ହାତ ଥିଲା।

The house which king Solomon built for Yahweh, the length of it was sixty cubits, and the breadth of it twenty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

ଆଉ ମନ୍ଦିରର ପବିତ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ବାରଣ୍ତା, କୋଡିଏ ହାତ ଦୀର୍ଘ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥ ଦଶ ହାତ ଥିଲା।

The porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length of it, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth of it before the house.

ମନ୍ଦିରର ଝରକାଗୁଡିକ ସଂକୀର୍ଣ ଥିଲା। ଏ ଗୁଡିକ ବାହାରକୁ ସଂକୀର୍ଣ ଓ ଭିତରକୁ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ଥିଲା ଓ ଏଥି ରେ ଜାଲିକାମ ହାଇେଥିଲା।

For the house he made windows of fixed lattice-work.

ଶଲୋମନ ମନ୍ଦିର ମୂଖ୍ଯ ପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଏକ ଧାଡି ରେ କଠାେରୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ଏହା କଠାେରୀଗୁଡିକ ଗୋଟିଏ ଉପରେ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ରହିଲା। ସହେି ଧାଡିର କୋଠରିଗୁଡିକ ତିନି ମହଲା ଉଚ୍ଚ ଥିଲା।

Against the wall of the house he built stories round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle; and he made side-chambers round about.

କଠାେରୀଗୁଡିକ ମନ୍ଦିରର କାନ୍ଥକୁ ଲାଗିଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଗେୁଡିକର କଢିକାଠଗୁଡିକ କାନ୍ଥ ଭିତରକୁ ଲାଗି ନଥିଲା। ସହେି ମନ୍ଦିରର କାନ୍ଥଟି ଉପରକୁ ସରୁ ହାଇେ ୟାଇଥିଲା। କୋଠରୀକୁ ଲାଗିଥିବା କାନ୍ଥଗୁଡିକ ଏହାର ମୂଳ କାନ୍ଥରୁ ସରୁ ଥିଲା। ତଳ ମହଲାର କଠାେରୀଗୁଡିକ ପାଞ୍ଚ ହାତ ଓସାର, ପ୍ରଥମ ମହଲାର କଠାେରୀଗୁଡିକ ଛଅ ହାତ ଓସାର ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମହଲାର କଠାେରୀଗୁଡିକ ସାତ ହାତ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଥିଲା।

The nethermost story was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad; for on the outside he made offsets in the wall of the house round about, that the beams should not have hold in the walls of the house.

ସହେି ଗୃହର କାନ୍ଥ ନିର୍ମାଣ ରେ ବୃହତ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମାନ ବ୍ଯବହୃତ ହାଇେଥିଲା। ବ୍ଯବହୃତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରଗୁଡିକ ଖଣି ରେ କଟାୟାଇ ଥିବାରୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ ସମୟରେ ହାତୁଡି କିମ୍ବା କଟାଳି ଆଦି ଶଦ୍ଦ ଶୁଣା ଯାଉ ନ ଥିଲା।

The house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready at the quarry; and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.

ତଳ କଠାେରୀଗୁଡିକର ପ୍ରବେଶ ପଥ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦିଗ ରେ ଥିଲା। ପୁଣି ଲୋକମାନେ ଘୂର୍ଣିତ ସୋପାନ ଦଇେ ମଧ୍ଯମ ଚଟାଣ କୋଠରୀଗୁଡିକୁ ଓ ତୃତୀୟ ଚଟାଣ ରେ କଠାେରୀଗୁଡିକୁ ଯାଉଥିଲେ।

The door for the middle side- chambers was in the right side of the house: and they went up by winding stairs into the middle story, and out of the middle into the third.

ଏହିପରି ସେ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସମାପନ କଲେ ଓ ଏରସ କାଠର କଡି ଓ ପଟାଦ୍ବାରା ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲେ।

So he built the house, and finished it; and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.

ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମନ୍ଦିର ଗ୍ଭରିପଟେ କଠାେରୀ ନିର୍ମାଣର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଶଷେ କଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମହଲାର ଉଚ୍ଚତା ପାଞ୍ଚହାତ ଥିଲା। ଏରସ କାଠର କଡିକାଠଗୁଡିକ ମନ୍ଦିରର କାନ୍ଥକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରୁଥିଲା।

He built the stories against all the house, each five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.

ଅନନ୍ତର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।

The word of Yahweh came to Solomon, saying,

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତ ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ବିଧି ଅନୁସାରେ ପରିଗ୍ଭଳିତ ହବେ, ଆମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ରକ୍ଷା କରିବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆଜ୍ଞାସବୁ ପାଳନ କରି ତଦନୁସା ରେ ଗ୍ଭଲିବ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କହିଅଛୁ, ସହେି ବାକ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ସଫଳ କରିବୁ।

Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.

ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧିଅରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ବାସ କରିବା, ଯେଉଁଟାକି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବା ନାହିାଁ

I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
14
ଏହିରୂପେ ଶଲୋମନ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସମାପନ କଲେ।

So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
15
ମନ୍ଦିରର ଭିତର ପାଖ ପଥର କାନ୍ଥଗୁଡିକ ଏରସ କାଠର ପଟା ରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହାଇେଥିଲା। ଗୋଟିଏ ବି ପଥର ଦଖାଗେଲା ନାହିଁ। କାନ୍ଥକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିଥିବା ଏରସ କାଠ ପଟାଗୁଡିକରେ ଫୁଲ ଓ ଲତାର ଛବି ଖାଦେନ କରାଗଲା।

He built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar: from the floor of the house to the walls of the ceiling, he covered them on the inside with wood; and he covered the floor of the house with boards of fir.
16
ସହେି ମନ୍ଦିରର ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ଭାଗ ରେ ଭିତରକୁ କୋଡିଏ ହାତ ର୍ଦୈଘ୍ଯର ଏକ କଠାେରୀ ନିର୍ମିତ ହେଲା ଓ ତା'ର ଚଟାଣରୁ କାନ୍ଥର ଛାତ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଏରସ କାଠର ପଟା ରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହେଲା। ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ କଠାେରୀଟି ମହାପବିତ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ ନାମ ରେ କଥିତ ହେଲା।

He built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls of the ceiling: he built them for it within, for an oracle, even for the most holy place.
17
ମହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ କଠାେରୀ ମନ୍ଦିରର ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଅଂଶ ଥିଲା ଓ ଏହା ଗ୍ଭଳିଶ ହାତ ଲମ୍ବ ଥିଲା।
17
The house, that is, the temple before the oracle, was forty cubits long.
18
ସହେି ଗୃହର କାନ୍ଥଗୁଡିକ ଏରସ କାଠର କଳିକା ରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହେଲା ଓ ପଥର ଦଖାଗେଲାନାହିଁ। ସହେି କାନ୍ଥଗୁଡିକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିଥିବା ପଟାଗୁଡିକରେ ଫୁଲ ଓ ଲତାର ଛବି ଖୋଦିତ କରାଗଲା।
18
There was cedar on the house within, carved with buds and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
19
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିଯମ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ସ୍ଥାପାନାର୍ଥେ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଭିତର ଭାଗ ରେ ଏକ କୋଠରୀ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।
19
He prepared an oracle in the midst of the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of Yahweh.
20
ଏହି ଗର୍ଭାଗାରଟି କୋଡିଏ ହାତ ଦୀର୍ଘ, କୋଡିଏ ହାତ ଚଉଡା ଓ କୋଡିଏ ହାତ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଥିଲା।

Within the oracle was a space of twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height of it; and he overlaid it with pure gold: and he covered the altar with cedar.
21
ଶ ଲୋମନ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରେ ଏହି କଠାେରୀକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲେ। ସେ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଏକ ଧୂପବଦେି ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ଏହି ବଦେିଟି ଏହି କଠାେରୀ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ନିର୍ମିତ କଲେ। ଏହି ବଦେିଟି ଏହି କୋଠରୀ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ହେଲା। ଏହାକୁ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରେ ଆବୃତ କରାଗଲା ଓ ଏହାର ଗ୍ଭରିପଟେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜଞ୍ଜିରମାନ ଗୁଡାଇଲେ। କିରୁବ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଇଟି ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ସହେି ଗର୍ଭାଗାର ରେ ରହିଲା ଓ ସଗେୁଡିକ ମଧ୍ଯ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମଣ୍ତିତ ହେଲା।

So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he drew chains of gold across before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
22
ସମଗ୍ର ମନ୍ଦିରଟି ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମଣ୍ତିତ ହେଲା ଓ ମହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ଧୂପବଦେି ମଧ୍ଯ ସୁବର୍ଣ ରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହେଲା।

The whole house he overlaid with gold, until all the house was finished: also the whole altar that belonged to the oracle he overlaid with gold.

ବଢଇମାନେେ ଜିତ କାଠ ରେ ଦଶହାତ ଉଚ୍ଚତା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଦୁଇଟି କିରୁବ ଦୂତଗଣ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ ଓ ସହେି ପକ୍ଷବିଶିଷ୍ଟ କିରୁବ ଦୂତ ଦୁଇଟିକୁ ସହେି ମହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।

In the oracle he made two cherubim of olive-wood, each ten cubits high.
24
ଉଭୟ କିରୁବ ଦୂତ ଏକା ପରି ଥିଲେ।
24
Five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing to the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.
25
ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କିରୁବ ଦୂତଙ୍କର ଦୁଇଟି ଲଖାଏଁେ ପକ୍ଷ ଥିଲା।

The other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubim were of one measure and one form.

ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପକ୍ଷ ପାଞ୍ଚହାତ ଲମ୍ବ ଥିଲା ଓ ଏକ ପକ୍ଷର ଅଗ୍ରଭାଗରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ପକ୍ଷର ଅଗ୍ରଭାଗ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦଶହାତ ଦୁରତା ଥିଲା।

The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.
27
ସହେି କିରୁବଦ୍ବଯ ଗର୍ଭାଗାର ମଧିଅରେ ରଖାୟାଇଥିଲା। ସହେି କିରୁବଦ୍ବଯର ପକ୍ଷ ଏପରି ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାଇେଥିଲା ଯେ ଗୋଟିଏର ପକ୍ଷ ଏକ କାନ୍ଥକୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟଟିର ପକ୍ଷ ଅନ୍ୟ କାନ୍ଥକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରୁଥିଲା। ପୁଣି ଗୃହ ମଧିଅରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପକ୍ଷ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରୁଥିଲା।

He set the cherubim within the inner house; and the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

ସହେି କିରୁବ ଦୁଇଟି ମଧ୍ଯ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ।

He overlaid the cherubim with gold.

ମୂଖ୍ଯ କଠାେରୀର ଓ ଭିତର କଠାେରୀର କାନ୍ଥଗୁଡିକ ଗ୍ଭରିପାଖ ରେ କିରୁବ ଦୂତଗଣ, ଖଜୁର୍ର ବୃକ୍ଷ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ପୁଟିତ ପୁଷ୍ପମାନଙ୍କର ଛବି ଖାଦେିତ ହାଇେଥିଲା।

He carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, inside and outside.

ଉଭୟ କୋଠରୀର ଚଟାଣ ମଧ୍ଯ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରେ ଆବୃତ ହାଇେଥିଲା।

The floor of the house he overlaid with gold, inside and outside.

ମାହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର କବାଟ ଜିତ କାଠ ରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ହାଇେଥିଲା, ଦୁଆରବନ୍ଧଟିର ପାଞ୍ଚଟି ପାଖ ଥଲା।

For the entrance of the oracle he made doors of olive-wood: the lintel and door-posts were a fifth part of the wall.
32
ଏହିରୂପେ ସେ ଜିତ କାଠ ରେ ଦୁଇଟି କବାଟ କଲେ, ତହିଁ ଉପରେ କିରୁବ ଦୂତଗଣ, ଖଜୁର୍ର ବୃକ୍ଷ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ପୁଟିତ ପୁଷ୍ପମାନଙ୍କର ଆକୃତି ଖୋଦନ କଲେ ଓ ତାକୁ ସୁବର୍ଣ ରେ ମଣ୍ତନ କଲେ।

So he made two doors of olive-wood; and he carved on them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold; and he spread the gold on the cherubim, and on the palm trees.

ମୁଖ୍ଯ କଠାେରୀର ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାର ରେ ଜିତ କାଠର କବାଟ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ଦୁଆରବନ୍ଧଟି ବର୍ଗାକାର ଥିଲା।

So also made he for the entrance of the temple door-posts of olive-wood, out of a fourth part of the wall;
34
ତତ୍ପରେ ସେ ଦବଦୋରୁ କାଠ ରେ ଦୁଇଟି କବାଟ କଲେ।

and two doors of fir-wood: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
35
ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କବାଟର ଦୋହରା ଥିଲା ଓ ପ୍ରତି କବାଟରେ କିରୁବ ଦୂତଗଣ, ଖଜୁର୍ର ବୃକ୍ଷ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ପୁଟିତ ପୁଷ୍ପମାନଙ୍କର ଆକୃତି ଖାଦେିତ ହାଇେଥିଲା ଓ ସହେି ଖାଦେିତ ଆକୃତିଗୁଡିକୁ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରେ ମଣ୍ତନ କରାଗଲା।

He carved thereon cherubim and palm trees and open flowers; and he overlaid them with gold fitted on the engraved work.
36
ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଭିତର ଅଗଣା ଗ୍ଭରିପଟେ କାନ୍ଥ ଦେଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କାନ୍ଥ ତିନି ଧାଡି କଟା ପଥର ରେ ଓ ଏକଧାଡି ଏରସ କାଠର କଡି ରେ କରାଗଲା।

He built the inner court with three courses of hewn stone, and a course of cedar beams.
37
ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ବର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ଓ ବର୍ଷର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମାସ ସିବ୍ ମାସ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ହେଲା।
37
In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of Yahweh laid, in the month Ziv.
38
ପୁଣି ତାଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ବର ଏକାଦଶ ବର୍ଷ ରେ, ବୂଲ ନାମକ ବର୍ଷର ଅଷ୍ଟମ ମାସ ରେ ନିରୂପିତ ଆକୃତି ଅନୁସାରେ ସମୁଦାଯ ମନ୍ଦିରର ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସମାପ୍ତ ହେଲା। ଏହିରୂପେ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସାତବର୍ଷ ଲାଗିଲା।
38
In the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts of it, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
