ସେ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ବ୍ଯତୀତ ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଦବଗେଣର ପଶ୍ଚାତଗାମୀ ନ ହବୋକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।

and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he didn't keep that which Yahweh commanded.
