1
ଲୋକେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ କହୁଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତ ରେ ୟୌନଗତ ପାପ ଅଛି। ଏହି ପାପ ଏପରିକି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ନ ଜାଣିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଠା ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହା ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ। ଲୋକେ କହୁଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ବାପାର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସହିତ ବାସ କରୁଛି,

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father's wife.

ତଥାପି ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହିସବୁ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବୀ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହବୋ ଉଚିତ୍। ୟିଏ ଏପରି ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କରିଛି, ତାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦଳରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।

You are puffed up, and didn't rather mourn, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.

ମୁଁ ସ୍ବଶରୀର ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ନାହିଁ କିନ୍ତୁ ଆତ୍ମା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅଛି, ଓ ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ଏହି ପାପକର୍ମ କରିଛି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଥିଲେ ତାହାର ଯେପରି ବିଚାର କରିଥାଆନ୍ତି, ସପରେି ମୁଁ ବିଚାର କରି ସାରିଛି।

For I most assuredly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.

ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏକତ୍ର ହୁଅ।

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

ମୁଁ ଆତ୍ମିକ ଭାବରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିବି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରଭୁଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତି ରେ ଏହି ଲୋକକୁ ଶୟତାନ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଦିଅ, ୟଦ୍ଦ୍ବାରା ତାର ପାପର ଶରୀର ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇଯେିବ। ତା' ହେଲେ ତା'ର ଆତ୍ମା ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦିନ ରେ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇ ପାରିବ।

are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗର୍ବ ଓ ଅହଂଙ୍କାର ଭଲ ନୁହେଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ଉକ୍ତି ବିଷୟ ରେ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ, ଅଳ୍ପ ଟିକିଏ ଖମୀର ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଳାମଇଦାକୁ ଫୁଲାଇ ଦିଏ।

Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଂମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ନୂତନ ଗୁଳା ହବୋଲାଗି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତ ରେ ଥିବା ପୁରୁଣା ଖମୀରକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ବାହାର କରି ଦିଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି ଖମୀର ଶୂନ୍ଯ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ରୋଟୀ ହଁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଆମ୍ଭର ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ସୂଚକ ମେଣ୍ଢା ଯେ କି ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ବଳି ହାଇେ ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି।

Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

ଅତଏବ, ଆସ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ରୋଟୀକୁ ଭୋଜନ କରିବା କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି ପୁରୁଣା ଖମୀରୟୁକ୍ତ ରୋଟୀ ନୁହେଁ। ସହେି ପୁରୁଣା ଖମୀର ପାପ ଓ ମନ୍ଦର ଖମୀର। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆସ ସହେି ରୋଟୀ ଖାଇବା ଯେଉଁଥି ରେ ଖମୀର ମିଶା ହାଇେ ନ ଥାଏ। ଏହି ରୋଟୀ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ସତ୍ଯର ରୋଟୀ।

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

ମାରେ ପୂର୍ବ ପତ୍ର ରେ ମୁଁ ଲେଖିଥିଲି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟୌନଗତ ପାପ କରିଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ରଖିବ ନାହିଁ।

I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;

କିନ୍ତୁ ମାରେ କହିବା ଅର୍ଥ ନ ଥିଲା ଯେ, ଜଗତର ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଂପର୍କ କାଟି ଦବେ। ଜଗତର ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ୟୌନଗତ ପାପ କରନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସ୍ବାର୍ଥପର ସମାନେେ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିପୂଜକ ଏମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ନ ରଖିବା ଅର୍ଥ ହବେ, ଏହି ସଂସାରରୁ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବାହାରି ୟିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ।

yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.

ମାରେ ଲେଖିବାର ଅର୍ଥ ଥିଲା, ଯେ ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ନିଜକୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ଭାଇ ବୋଲି ଘାଷେଣା କରି ଏବେ ମଧ୍ଯ ୟୌନଗତ ପାପ କରୁଛି କିଅବା ସ୍ବାର୍ଥ, ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିପୂଜକ, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦ କଥା କୁ ହେ, କିମ୍ବା ମଦୁଆ କି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଠକୁଛି। ସହେିଭଳି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ରଖିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏହିପରିକି ଏଭଳି ଲୋକ ସହିତ ବସି ଭୋଜନ ମଧ୍ଯ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର ନାହିଁ।

But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don't even eat with such a person.

ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୌଣସି ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ସଭ୍ଯ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିଚାର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିଚାର କରିବେ।

For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Don't you judge those who are within?

କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ସଭ୍ଯ ଅଟନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିଚାର କର। ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର କୁ ହେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ଦଳରୁ ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକକୁ ଅଲଗା କରିଦିଅ।

But those who are outside, God judges. "Put away the wicked man from among yourselves."
