1परमेश्वरका सन्तान हो, परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर। उहाँको महिमा र शक्तिको प्रशंसा गर।
1A Psalm by David. Ascribe to Yahweh, you sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.
2परमप्रभुको स्तुति गरौं र उहाँको नाउँको सम्मान गरौं। आफ्ना खास पोशाकलगाएर उहाँको उपासना गरौं।
2Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Worship Yahweh in holy array.
3परमप्रभुले आफ्ना आवाज समुद्रमाथि उठाउनु हुन्छ।मेघको गर्जन समुद्रमाथि प्रतिध्वनि हुन्छ। यही नै महिमापूर्ण परमप्रभुको आवाज हो।
3Yahweh's voice is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even Yahweh on many waters.
4परमप्रभुको आवाजले उहाँको शक्ति बुझाउँछ। उहाँको आवाजले आफ्नो महिमा दर्शाउँछ।
4Yahweh's voice is powerful. Yahweh's voice is full of majesty.
5परमप्रभुको आवाजले देवदारका रूखहरू पनि टुक्रा-टुक्रा पारेर भाँच्छ। परमप्रभुले लबनोनका ठूला-ठूला देवदारूको रूखहरू भाँच्नु हुन्छ।
5The voice of Yahweh breaks the cedars. Yes, Yahweh breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6परमप्रभु लबनोनलाई हल्लाउनु हुन्छ। यो सानो साँढे उफ्रिरहेको झैं देखिन्छ। सिरिओन हल्लिन्छ। त्यो सानो बाख्रा नाच्दै गरे झैं देखिन्छ।
6He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.
7परमप्रभुको आवाज बिजुलीको चमकसित हावाबाट बाहिरिन्छ।
7Yahweh's voice strikes with flashes of lightning.
8परमप्रभुको आवाजले मरूभूमि पनि चम्काई दिन्छ। कादेशको मरूभूमिलाई परमप्रभुको आवाजले थर्काई दिन्छ।
8Yahweh's voice shakes the wilderness. Yahweh shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9परमप्रभुको आवाजले मृगलाई भयभीत पारिदिछ। परमप्रभुले जंङ्गलहरू ध्वंश पारिदिनु हुन्छ; तर उहाँको दरबारमा, मानिसहरू “महिमा” गाउँछन्।
9Yahweh's voice makes the deer calve, And strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, "Glory!"
10जम्मै बाढी आएको बेलामा परमप्रभु राजा हुनुहुन्थ्यो अनि सदा सर्वदको लागि राजा नै हुनुहुनेछ।
10Yahweh sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, Yahweh sits as King forever.
11परमप्रभुले उहाँका मानिसहरूलाई सुरक्षा गरून्। परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई शान्तिले आशीर्वाद दिऊन्।
11Yahweh will give strength to his people. Yahweh will bless his people with peace.
