1अन्य राष्ट्रका मानिसहरू किन रिसाउँछन्? किन तिनीहरू मूर्खतापूर्ण योजनाहरू बनाउँदै छन्?
1Why do the nations rage, And the peoples plot a vain thing?
2तिनीहरूका राजाहरू र अगुवाहरू परमप्रभुको विरूद्ध र उहाँले रोजेका राजाको विरूद्धमा युद्ध गर्न एकजुट भए।
2The kings of the earth take a stand, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Yahweh, and against his anointed, saying,
3ती अगुवाहरूले भने, “परमेश्वर र आफूले रोजेका राजाको विरूद्ध विद्रोह गरौं तिनीहरूबाट अलग हौं।”
3"Let's break their bonds apart, And cast away their cords from us."
4तर मेरा स्वामी, स्वर्गका राजा ती मानिसहरू प्रति हाँस्नुहुन्छ। परमप्रभुले तिनीहरुलाई हाँसोको पात्र बनाउनु हुन्छ।
4He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.
5तब परमेश्वर रिसाउनु हुन्छ अनि ती मानिसहरूलाई भन्नुहुन्छ, “यो मानिस राजा होस् भनी मैले रोजें। अनि उसले सियोन पर्वतमा राज गर्नेछ। सियोन मेरो एक विशेष पर्वत हो।”
5Then he will speak to them in his anger, And terrify them in his wrath:
6अनि यसो गर्दा, ती अन्य अगुवाहरू डराउँछन्।
6"Yet I have set my king on my holy hill of Zion."
7अब म तिमीलाई परमप्रभुको करारको विषयमा भन्नेछु। परमप्रभुले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “आज म तिम्रो पिता भएँ, तिमी मेरा पुत्र भयौ।
7I will tell of the decree. Yahweh said to me, "You are my son. Today I have become your father.
8यदि तिमीले माग्छौ भने, म तिमीहरूलाई यो देश दिनेछु अनि पृथ्वीमा भएका सबै जातिहरू तिमीहरूका मानिसहरू हुनेछन्।
8Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, The uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
9तिमीहरूले ती देशहरूलाई फलामको डण्डाले माटोको भाँडाहरू टुक्रा पारे झैं नष्ट गर्न सक्ने छौ।”
9You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
10यसैकारण, राजा र शासकहरु बुद्धिमान होउन् र तिम्रा सम्पूर्ण शासकहरूले यो पाठ सिकुन्।
10Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11यसकारण एकदम डराएर परमप्रभुको आज्ञा पालन गर।
11Serve Yahweh with fear, And rejoice with trembling.
12तिमीहरूले परमप्रभुको पुत्रको भक्त हुँ भन्ने देखाऊ। यदि तिमीहरूले त्यसो गरेनौ भने उहाँ क्रोधित हुनुहुनेछ र तिमीहरू सबैलाई ध्वंश पार्नु हुनेछ। जसले परमप्रभुमाथि विश्वास गर्दछन् उनीहरू सुखी हुन्छन्। तर अन्य मानिसहरू होशियार हुनु पर्नेछ। परमप्रभु आफ्नो क्रोध देखाउन तयार हुनुहुन्छ।
12Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
