1म अत्यन्त खुशी थिएँ जब मानिसहरूले यसो भने, “परमप्रभुको मन्दिर तर्फ जाऊ आऊ।”
1A Song of Ascents. I was glad when they said to me, "Let's go to Yahweh's house!"
2हामी यहाँ, यरूशलेमको प्रवेशद्वारमा उभिरहेकाछौं।
2Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem;
3यो नयाँ यरूशलेम हो! एक संयुक्त शहर जस्तो यो शहर फेरि निर्माण गरियो।
3Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together;
4त्यही ठाउँ हो जहाँ परिवार समूहहरू जान्छन्। परमप्रभुको नाउँको स्तुति-गान गर्नलाई इस्राएल का मानिसहरू त्यहाँ जाँदछन्।
4Where the tribes go up, even Yah's tribes, According to an ordinance for Israel, To give thanks to the name of Yahweh.
5दाऊद परिवारका राजाहरूले त्यहाँ तिनीहरूको राज सिंहासन बनाए। तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूको न्याय गर्न राज सिंहासन त्यहाँ बनाए।
5For there are set thrones for judgment, The thrones of David's house.
6यरूशलेममा शान्तिको निम्ति प्रार्थना गर। “जसले तपाईंलाई प्रेम गर्दछ उसले शान्ति पाओस्। तपाईंको पर्खालहरूभित्र शान्ति छाओस्। म आशा गर्दछु त्यहाँ तपाईंको भवनहरूको सुरक्षा हुनेछ।”
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.
7मेरो दाज्यू-भाइ र छिमेकीहरूको हितार्थ म यहाँ शान्ति छाओस् भनेर त्यहाँ प्रार्थना गर्दछु।
7Peace be within your walls, And prosperity within your palaces.
8हाम्रा परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको मन्दिरको निम्ति,
8For my brothers' and companions' sakes, I will now say, "Peace be within you."
9म प्रार्थना गर्छु कि राम्रो कुराहरू यस शहरमा होऊन्।
9For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.
