यो शहर अनि यसमा भएका हरेक थोक परमप्रभुका हुन्। केवल राहाब वेश्या अनि तिनका घरमा भएका सबै मानिसहरू मात्र जीवित रहने छन्। यी मानिसहरूलाई मार्नु हुँदैन किनभने राहाबले ती दुई गुप्तचरहरूलाई सहयोग गरेकी थिइन्।

The city shall be devoted, even it and all that is therein, to Yahweh: only Rahab the prostitute shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
