1तब बिल्ददले (शुहीले यसो भनेर) जवाफ दिएः
1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2“अय्यूब, तिमी कहिले बोल्न बन्द गर्नेछौ? चुपलाग अनि सुन। हामीलाई केही भन्नदेऊ।
2"How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
3किन तिमीले हामीलाई लाटा गाई जस्तो मूर्ख सम्झन्छौ?
3Why are we counted as animals, Which have become unclean in your sight?
4अय्यूब, तिम्रो रीसले तिमीलाई नै पिरोल्छ। के मानिसहरूले खाली तिम्रो लागि पृथ्वी छोडनै पर्छ? के तिमी सोच्दछौ कि परमेश्वरले तिम्रै सन्तुष्टीको लागि मात्र पर्वतहरूको ठाउँ सार्नु हुन्छ?
4You who tear yourself in your anger, Shall the earth be forsaken for you? Or shall the rock be removed out of its place?
5हो, दुष्ट मानिसको प्रकाश निभाइनेछ। उसको आगो जल्न छाडनेछ।
5"Yes, the light of the wicked shall be put out, The spark of his fire shall not shine.
6उसको घरको प्रकाश अन्धयारो हुनेछ। उसको छेउको बत्ती पनि निभ्ने छ।
6The light shall be dark in his tent, His lamp above him shall be put out.
7उसको बलियो पाइलाहरू अझ छोटो र कमजोर हुनेछन्। उसको पापपूर्ण योजनाहरूले उसकै पतन गराउनेछ।
7The steps of his strength shall be shortened, His own counsel shall cast him down.
8उसको आफ्नै खुट्टाले उसलाई पासोमा फसाउने छ उ पासोमाथि हिंडनेछ र फस्नेछ।
8For he is cast into a net by his own feet, And he wanders into its mesh.
9पासोले उसको एढी पक्रने छ। पासोले उसलाई कस्सेर समात्ने छ।
9A snare shall take him by the heel; A trap shall lay hold on him.
10भूँईमा लुकेको डोरीले त्यसलाई अल्झाउनेछ। पासोले उसको बाटो पर्खनेछ।
10A noose is hidden for him in the ground, A trap for him in the way.
11आतकंले त्यसलाई चारैतिरबाट पर्खिरहेछ। त्रासले त्यसको बढदो प्रत्येक पाईलालाई पछ्याई रहेछ।
11Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, And shall chase him at his heels.
12भोकले उसको शक्ति दुर्बल पार्छ। जब उसको पतन शरू हुन्छ उसको विनाश र ध्वंश तत्पर रहन्छन्।
12His strength shall be famished, Calamity shall be ready at his side.
13डरलाग्दो रोगले उसको छाला खाई दिनेछ। त्यसले उसको पाखुराहरू र खुट्टाहरू सडाउनेछ।
13The members of his body shall be devoured, The firstborn of death shall devour his members.
14दुष्ट मानिसलाई आफ्नो सुरक्षित घरबाट टाडो लैजानेछ। उसलाई आतकंका राजाहरू भेटाउनलाई त्यतैतिर डोर्याउनेछ।
14He shall be rooted out of his tent where he trusts. He shall be brought to the king of terrors.
15उसले आफ्नो घरमा केही पनि छाडने छैन। किन? किनभने सबै जल्ने गन्धक उसको घरभरि छरिनेछ।
15There shall dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur shall be scattered on his habitation.
16उसको मुनिका जराहरू सुकेर जानेछन् अनि उसकामाथिका हाँगाहरू मरेर जान्छन्।
16His roots shall be dried up beneath, Above shall his branch be cut off.
17पृथ्वीमा भएका मानिसहरूले उसलाई सम्झने छैनन्। कसैले उसलाई एकैपल्ट पनि संम्झने छैन।
17His memory shall perish from the earth. He shall have no name in the street.
18मानिसहरूले उसलाई उसको संसारको प्रकाशबाट अन्धकारमा खेद्नेछन्।
18He shall be driven from light into darkness, And chased out of the world.
19उसको न छोरा-छोरीहरू हुनेछ न त नाता-नातिनीहरू उसको कुनै पनि सन्तान रहनेछैन्।
19He shall have neither son nor grandson among his people, Nor any remaining where he sojourned.
20पश्चिममा भएका मानिसहरूलाई आपत पर्नेछ जब उनीहरूले दुष्ट मानिसहरूमा कस्तो घट्ना आइपर्यो भन्ने सुन्दा पूर्वमा भएका मानिसहरू डरले स्तब्ध हुनेछन्।
20Those who come after shall be astonished at his day, As those who went before were frightened.
21त्यो साँचि नै ती दुष्ट मानिसहरूको घरमा घट्ने नै छ। त्यस्ता मानिसको जीवनमा घटिन जानेछ जसले परमेश्वरलाई यादै गर्दैन।”
21Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous, This is the place of him who doesn't know God."
