1एसावको पारिवारिक इतिहास यही हो।
1Now this is the history of the generations of Esau (the same is Edom).
2एसावले कनानी स्त्रीहरूसित विवाह गरे। तिनीहरू थिएः हित्ती एलोनकी छोरी आदा, अन्नाकी छोरी ओहोलीबामा अनि हिव्वी सिनीकी नातिनी अनि
2Esau took his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon, the Hittite; and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, the Hivite;
3बासमत-इश्माएलकी छोरी अनि नबायोतकी बहिनी।
3and Basemath, Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
4एसाव अनि आदाले एलीपज नाउँको छोरो जन्माए। बासमतले रूएल नाउँको छोरो जन्माइन्।
4Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz. Basemath bore Reuel.
5अनि ओहोलीबामाका तीन जना छोराहरू थिएः तिनीहरूको नाउँ-यऊश, यालाम अनि कोरह। तिनीहरू एसावका छोराहरू थिए जो कनान भूमिमा जन्मे।
5Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
6याकूब अनि एसावाका परिवारहरू अत्यन्तै विशाल भए जसले गर्दा कनान भूमिको अन्नले तिमीहरूलाई पुग्न असम्भव भयो। यसर्थ एसावले आफ्नो भाइ याकूबलाई छोडेर धेरै टाढा देशमा गए। एसावले आफ्ना सबै चीजहरू आफूसँग लिएर गए।
6Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, with his cattle, all his animals, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan, and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
7कनानमा हुँदा उनले यी सब चीजहर प्राप्त गरेको थियो। यसर्थ एसावले आफूसंग पत्नीहरू छोराहरू, छोरीहरू, सबै नोकरहरू, पशुहरू लग्यो। एसाव र याकूबको परिवारहरू यति बढदै गए, तिनीहरूलाई एकै ठाउँमा बस्न असम्भव भयो।
7For their substance was too great for them to dwell together, and the land of their travels couldn't bear them because of their cattle.
8त्यस भूमिबाट दुइ परिवारहरूलाई जीवन निर्वाह गर्न मुश्किल थियो। तिनीहरूसित धेरै गाई-वस्तुहरू थिए। एसाव पहाडी भूमि सेइरतिर लागे (एसावको नाउँ एदोम अनि सेइर पनि हो।)
8Esau lived in the hill country of Seir. Esau is Edom.
9एसाव एदोमी मानिसहरूका पिता थिए। सेईर एदोमको पहाडी भूमिमा बस्ने एसावका परिवारहरूको नाउँ यी नै हुन्,
9This is the history of the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in the hill country of Seir:
10एसाव र आदाको छोरोको नाउँ एलीपज हो। एसाव र बासमतको छोरोको नाउँ रूएल हो।
10these are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah, the wife of Esau; and Reuel, the son of Basemath, the wife of Esau.
11एलीपजका पाँचजना छोराहरूको नाउँ थियोः तेमान, ओमार, सपो, गोताम अनि कनज।
11The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
12एलीपजकी पनि एउटी दासी थिइ। उसको नाउँ तिम्ना थियो अनि तिम्ना र एलीपजको अमालेक नाउँका छोरो थियो।
12Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, Esau's son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the sons of Adah, Esau's wife.
13रूएलका चारजना छोराहरू थिए। तिनीहरूः नहत, जेरह, शम्मा र मिज्जा थिए।यिनीहरू एसावकी पत्नी बासमत पट्टीका नातिहरू नै हुन्।
13These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemath, Esau's wife.
14एसावकी साइँली पत्नी सेबोनकी छोरो अन्नाकी छोरी ओहोलीबामा थिइन्। एसाव र ओहोलीबामाकी छोरीहरू यऊश, यालाम र कोरह थिए।
14These were the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: she bore to Esau Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
15यी परिवार एसावबाट आएका हुन्।एसावको जेठा छोरो एलीपज थियो। एलीपजबाट यिनीहरू आए-तेमान, गोमार, सपो, कनज,
15These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,
16कोरह, गाताम अनि अमालेक।ती सबै परिवारिक मुखियाहरू एसावकी पत्नी आदाबाट जन्मेका हुन्।
16chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek: these are the chiefs who came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.
17एसावको छोरो रूएल यी परिवारहरूको पहिलो बाबु थियो। नहत, जेरह, शम्मा अनि मिज्जा।ती सब परिवाहरू एसावकी पत्नी बासमतबाट आएका हुन्।
17These are the sons of Reuel, Esau's son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah: these are the chiefs who came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Basemath, Esau's wife.
18एसाव को पत्नी र अनाकी छोरी ओहोलीबामाबाट जन्मेका छोराहरू हुन्-यऊश, यालाम अनि कोरह। ती तीन जना मानिसहरू तिनीहरूको परिवारहरूका बाबु हुन्।
18These are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau's wife: chief Jeush, chief Jalam, chief Korah: these are the chiefs who came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
19यी मानिसहरू एसाव (एदोम) बाट आएका परिवाका प्रमुखहरू थिए।
19These are the sons of Esau, and these are their chiefs. The same is Edom.
20एसावभन्दा अघि एदोममा सेइर नाउँको एक होरी मानिस बस्थ्यो। सेइरका छोराहरू थिए लोतान, शोबाल, सिओन, अना,
20These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
21दीशोन, एसेर, दीशान। यी छोराहरू एदोममा सेईबाट आएका छोरी पारिवार मुखियाहरू थिए।
21Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs who came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
22लोतान होरी र हेमानको बाबु थियो। (तिम्ना लोतानकी बहिनी थिई।)
22The children of Lotan were Hori and Heman. Lotan's sister was Timna.
23शोबालः अल्बान, मानहत, एबाल, सपो अनि ओनामका बाबु थियो।
23These are the children of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
24सिबोनका अय्या र अना नाउँका दुइ छोराहरू थिए। (अना त्यही मानिस थियो जसले पहाडमा आफ्नो बाबुका गधाहरूको हेरचाह गर्दा तातो पानीको मुहान भेट्टाएको थियो।)
24These are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.
25दीशोन र ओहोलीबामाका बाबु अना थिए।
25These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
266दीशोनका चार छोराहरू हेमदान, एश्बान, यित्रान र करान थिए।
26These are the children of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
27एसेरका तीन जना छोराहरू बिल्हान, जावान र अकान थिए।
27These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
28दीशोनका दुइ छोराहरू ऊज र आरान थिए।
28These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
29होरी परिवाहरूका प्रमुखहरू थिए-लोतान, शोनान, सिबोन, अना,
29These are the chiefs who came of the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,
30दीशान, एसेर, अनि दीशान। जो सेइर भूमिमा बसे तिनीहरूको पारिवारिक प्रमुखहरू ती मानिसहरू नै थिए।
30chief Dishon, chief Ezer, and chief Dishan: these are the chiefs who came of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
31त्यस समयमा एदोममा राजाहरू थिए। इस्राएल राजा हुनुभन्दा धेरै समयअघि एदोममा राजाहरू थिए।
31These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before any king reigned over the children of Israel.
32बओरको छोरो बेला राजा थियो जसले एदोममा शासन गर्यो। उनले दिन्हारा शहरमाथि शासन गर्यो।
32Bela, the son of Beor, reigned in Edom. The name of his city was Dinhabah.
33जब बेला मर्यो योबाब राजा भयो। योबाब बोज्रामाको जेरहको छोरो थियो।
33Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, reigned in his place.
34जब योबाब मर्यो, हूशामले शासन गर्यो। हूशाम तेमानी मानिसहरूको देशको थियो।
34Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
35जब हूशाम मर्यो हददले त्यस इलाकाको शासन गर्यो। हदद बेदादको छोरा थियो (हदद ऊ थियो जसले माओबको भूमिमा मिद्यानीहरूलाई जितेको थियो।) हदद अबीत शहरको थियो।
35Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith.
36जब हदद मर्यो सम्लाले देशमा शासन चलायो। सम्ला मसेकामाको थियो।
36Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
37जब सम्ला मर्यो त्यो इलाकामा शावलले शासन चलायो। शावल फरात नदीको किनारमा रहोबोतको थियो।
37Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the river, reigned in his place.
38जब शावल मर्यो त्यो देशमा बाल्हनानले शासन चलायो। बाल्हनान अकबोरको छोरो थियो।
38Shaul died, and Baal Hanan, the son of Achbor reigned in his place.
39जब बाल्हनान मर्यो, हदरले त्यहाँ शासन गर्यो। हदर पाऊ शहरको थियो। हदरकी पत्नीको नाम महेतबेल थियो, तिनी मत्रेदकी छोरी थिइन्। (मेजाहाब मत्रेदको बाबु थियो।)
39Baal Hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his place. The name of his city was Pau. His wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
40एसाव एदोमी परिवारहरूः तिम्ना, अल्वा,
40These are the names of the chiefs who came from Esau, according to their families, after their places, and by their names: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
41यतेत, ओहोलीबामा, एला, पीनोन, कनज,
41chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
42तेमान, मिब्सार, मग्दीएल अनि ईरामको बुबा थियो।
42chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
43यी परिवारहरू प्रत्येक नै त्यस इलाकामा बसो-बास गरे जुन इलाकाको नाउँ र पारिवारको नाउँ एकै थियो।
43chief Magdiel, and chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau, the father of the Edomites.
