यसरी दाऊदले भाला र पानीको सुराही शाऊलको शिरकै छेउबाट लिए। त्यसपछि दाऊद र अबीशै छाउनीबाट निस्किए। तिनीहरूले के गरे कसैले पनि थाहा पाएन। न कसैले देख्यो न त कोही ब्यूँझ्यो। शाऊल र तिनका सैनिकहरू गहिरो निद्रामा परेको कारण परमप्रभुले नै तिनीहरूलाई गहिरो निद्रामा पारिदिनुभएको थियो।

So David took the spear and the jar of water from Saul's head; and they got them away: and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither did any awake; for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from Yahweh was fallen on them.
