हीरामले ती दुइ काँसाका खाम्बाहरूलाई मन्दिरको मण्डपमा स्थापित गरेका थिए। एउटा खाँबो प्रवेश-द्वारको दक्षिणतिर अनि अर्को उत्तरतिर गाडिएको थियो। दक्षिणको खाँबोको नाउँ याकीन राखियो। उत्तरको खाम्बाको नाउँ बोआज राखियो।

He set up the pillars at the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name of it Jachin; and he set up the left pillar, and called the name of it Boaz.
