परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला,
1
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2
“इस्राएल लोकांस असे सांग की कोणा पुरुषाने किंवा स्त्रीने आपणास इतरापासून वेगळे होऊन काही काळपर्यंत पूर्णपणे परमेश्वरास वाहून घ्यावयाचा नवस केला तर त्याने किंवा तिने सर्वकाळ परमेश्वराच्या सेवेसाठी वाहून घ्यावे. त्यांना नाजीर म्हणावे.

"Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them: When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to Yahweh,

त्या काळात नाजीराने द्राक्षारस किंवा मद्य पिऊ नये; द्राक्षारसाचा किंवा कडक मद्याचा शिरकाही पिऊ नये; द्राक्षाचा कसलाही रस पिऊ नये; तसेच ताजी किंवा सुकी द्राक्षेही खाऊ नयेत.

he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink. He shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of fermented drink, neither shall he drink any juice of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried.

त्या वेगळेपणाच्या विशेष काळात त्याने द्राक्षापासून बनविलेला कोणताच पदार्थ खाऊ नये. एवढेच नव्हे तर त्याने द्राक्षाच्या बिया किंवा द्राक्षाचे सालपट देखील खाऊ नये.

All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is made of the grapevine, from the seeds even to the skins.

स्वत:ला वेगळे केलेल्या त्या काळात नाजीराने आपले केस कापू नयेत. त्याच्या नवसाचा काळ संपेपर्यंत त्याने पवित्र राहावे. त्याने आपले केस लांब वाढू द्यावेत; ते केस त्याने देवाला केलेल्या विशेष नवसाची खूण आहे. स्वत:ला वाहवून घेतलेल्या नवसाचा काळ संपेपर्यंत त्याने आपले केस लांब वाढू द्यावेत.

"All the days of his vow of separation there shall no razor come on his head, until the days are fulfilled, in which he separates himself to Yahweh. He shall be holy. He shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long.

“वेगळेपणाच्या त्या काळात नाजीराने परमेश्वराला वाहून घेतल्यामुळे प्रेताजवळ जाऊ नये.

"All the days that he separates himself to Yahweh he shall not go near a dead body.
7
त्याचा स्वत:चा बाप, आई, भाऊ किंवा बहीण ह्यातून कोणी मरण पावल्यास त्याने त्यांनाही शिवू नये; तो शिवेल तर तो अपवित्र होईल. आपण पूर्णपणे परमेश्वराच्या सेवेसाठी स्वत:ला वेगळे केले आहे, हे त्याने दाखवावे

He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die; because his separation to God is on his head.
8
व वेगळे राहाण्याचा पूर्णकाल त्याने परमेश्वराला संपूर्णपणे वाहून घ्यावे. तोपर्यंत त्याने परमेश्वराचीच सेवा करावी.

All the days of his separation he is holy to Yahweh.
9
“एखाद्या वेळी असे होईल की नाजीराबरोबर असलेला एखादा माणूस एकाएकी मरण पावला; आणि जर नाजीराने त्याला स्पर्श केला तर तो अशुद्ध होईल जर असे झाले तर नाजीराने आपल्या नवसाची खूण असलेल्या आपल्या डोक्याचा केसांचे मुंडण करावे. ते मुंडण त्याने सातव्या दिवशी करावे कारण त्या दिवशी तो पवित्र होईल.

"If any man dies very suddenly beside him, and he defiles the head of his separation; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing. On the seventh day he shall shave it.

आठव्या दिवशी त्याने दोन होले किंवा पारव्याची दोन पिले आणून दर्शनमंडपाच्या दारापाशी ती याजकाला द्यावीत.

On the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting.

मग याजकाने एकाचा पापार्पण म्हणून व दुसऱ्याचा होमार्पण करावा. हे पापार्पण म्हणजे त्याच्या पापाबद्दलचे प्रायश्चित होय; कारण तो प्रेताजवळ गेला होता. त्याचवेळी त्या नाजीराने पुन्हा नव्याने देवाची सेवा करण्यासाठी विशेष नवस म्हणून आपल्या डोक्याचे केस देवाला अर्पण करावेत.

The priest shall offer one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned by reason of the dead, and shall make his head holy that same day.
12
याचा अर्थ त्या माणसाने परमेश्वराच्या सेवेसाठी वेगळे होण्यासाठी स्वत:ला परमेश्वराला द्यावे. त्याने एक वर्षाचा मेंढा दोषार्पणासाठी आणून द्यावा. तरी पण त्याचे नाजीरपणाचे आधीचे दिवस वाया जातील. त्याने आता नव्याने नवस करुन नाजीरपणाचा वेगळा वेळ द्यावा कारण नाजीरपणाच्या पहिल्या काळात त्याचा प्रेताला स्पर्श झाला होता.

He shall separate to Yahweh the days of his separation, and shall bring a male lamb a year old for a trespass offering; but the former days shall be void, because his separation was defiled.
13
“मग त्याच्या नाजीरपणाच्या नवसाचे दिवस पूर्ण झाल्यावर त्याने दर्शनमंडपाच्या दारापाशी जावे.

"This is the law of the Nazirite: when the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the Tent of Meeting,
14
तेथे त्याने पुढीलप्रमाणे अर्पणे करावीत.त्याने एक वर्षाचा निर्दोष मेंढा होमबली म्हणून आणावा: एक वर्षाची निर्दोष मेंढी पापबली म्हणून आणावी; आणि शांत्यार्पणासाठी एक दोषहीन मेंढा आणावा.

and he shall offer his offering to Yahweh, one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,
15
एक टोपलीभर बेखमीर भाकरी म्हणजे तेलात मळलेल्या मैद्याच्या पोळ्या व वरुन तेल लाविलेल्या चपात्या त्याच प्रमाणे त्या बरोबर अर्पणाचा भाग म्हणून अन्नार्पणे व पेयार्पणे आणावीत.

and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their meal offering, and their drink offerings.
16
“मग ही सर्व अर्पणे याजकाने परमेश्वराला अर्पण करावीत; त्याने पापबली व होमबली परमेश्वराला अर्पावेत;

The priest shall present them before Yahweh, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering.
17
तशीच बेखमीर भाकरीची टोपलीही परमेश्वराला अर्पण करावी; मग शांत्यार्पणासाठी परमेश्वराकरिता मेंढा अर्पावा व त्या बरोबरचे अन्नार्पण व पेयार्पण अर्पण करावे.

He shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, with the basket of unleavened bread. The priest shall offer also its meal offering, and its drink offering.
18
“मग नाजीराने निवास मंडपाच्या दारापाशी जावे; तेथे त्याने परमेश्वरासाठी नवस म्हणून वाठविलेल्या आपल्या केसाचे मुंडण करावे. ते केस त्याने शांत्यापर्णाच्या खाली असलेल्या जाळावर टाकावेत.

The Nazirite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace offerings.
19
“नाजीराने आपल्या केसाचे मुंडण केल्यावर याजकाने त्याला मेंढ्याचा शिजविलेला फरा व टोपलीतून एक बेखमीर पोळी व एक बेखमीर चपाती द्यावी.

The priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the hands of the Nazirite, after he has shaved the head of his separation;
20
मग याजकाने ते ओवाळणीचे अर्पण म्हणून परमेश्वरासमोर ओवाळावे. हे सर्व पदार्थ पवित्र आहेत व ते याजकासाठी आहेत. त्याच प्रमाणे मेंढ्याचे ऊर व मांडीही परमेश्वरासमोर ओवाळावी; हे सर्व पदार्थ पवित्र आहेत व ते याजकासाठी आहेत. त्या नंतर नाजीर झालेला होता तो माणूस द्राक्षारस पिण्यास मोकळा आहे.
20
and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh. This is holy for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is offered. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.
21
“जर एखादा माणूस नाजीर होऊन परमेश्वराची सेवा करण्यास वेगळा होण्याचा नवस करावयाचे ठरवील तर त्याने ही सर्व अर्पणे परमेश्वरासाठी अवश्य द्यावीत; पण एखादा माणूस ह्याही पेक्षा अधिक अर्पणे देऊ शकत असेल व जर त्याने काही अधिक द्यावयाची शपथ घेतली असेल तर मग त्याने आपली शपथ पूर्ण करावी. नाजीर होण्याच्या नवसाची शपथ घेण्याविषयी हा नियम आहे.”

"This is the law of the Nazirite who vows, and of his offering to Yahweh for his separation, besides that which he is able to get. According to his vow which he vows, so he must do after the law of his separation."
22
परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला,

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
23
“अहरोन व त्याच्या मुलांना इस्राएल लोकांना ह्याप्रमाणे आशीर्वाद देण्यास सांग; त्यांनी म्हणावे:
23
"Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, 'This is how you shall bless the children of Israel.' You shall tell them,
24
परमेश्वर तुला आशीर्वाद देवो व तुझे संरक्षण करो;
24
'Yahweh bless you, and keep you.
25
परमेश्वर आपला मुख प्रकाश तुजवर पाडो व तुजवर दया करो;
25
Yahweh make his face to shine on you, And be gracious to you.
26
परमेश्वर आपले मुख तुजकडे करो व तुला शांति देवो.”
26
Yahweh lift up his face toward you, And give you peace.'
27
मग परमेश्वर म्हणाला, “इस्राएल लोकांना आशीर्वाद देताना अहरोन व त्याच्या मुलांनी अशा प्रकारे माझ्या नांवाचा उपयोग करावा; म्हणजे मी त्यांना आशीर्वाद देईन.”

"So they shall put my name on the children of Israel; and I will bless them."
