1येशू मंदिरातून बाहेर निघून चालत निघाला होता तेव्हा त्याचे शिष्य त्याच्याकडे आले. कारण त्यांना त्याला मंदिराच्या इमारती दाखवायच्या होत्या.
1Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
2प्रतिसादादाखल, तो त्यांना म्हणाला, तुम्ही या सर्व गोष्टी पाहता. खरे ना? आता, मी तुम्हांला खरे सांगतो, येथे एक दगड दुसऱ्या दगडावर राहणार नाही. त्यातील प्रत्येक दगड खाली टाकला जाईल.”
2But he answered them, "Don't you see all of these things? Most assuredly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down."
3येशू जैतूनाच्या डोंगरावर बसला असताना, त्याचे शिष्य त्याच्याशी एकांतात बोलावे म्हणून आले, ते म्हणाले, आम्हांला सांगा की या गोष्टी कधी होतील? तुम्ही परत येण्याचा आणि जगाचा शेवट होण्याचा काळ जवळ आला आहे हे आम्ही कोणत्या घटनांवरून ओळखावे?”
3As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?"
4येशूने त्यांना उत्तर दिले, सांभाळा! कोणीही तुम्हांला फसवू नये
4Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray.
5मी हे म्हणतो कारण असे पुष्कळ आहेत की जे माझ्या नावाने येतील आणि ते म्हणतील, मी ख्रिस्त आहे,’ आणि ते पुष्कळ लोकांना फसवितील.
5For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray.
6तुम्ही लढायांबद्दल आणि लढायांच्या अफवांबद्दल ऐकाल पण त्यामुळे तुम्ही त्यांना भिऊ नका. या गोष्टी घडल्याच पाहिजेत. तरी इतक्यात शेवट जवळ येणार नाही.
6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.
7होय, एक राष्ट्र दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रावर उठेल. अनेक ठिकाणी भूकंप व दुष्काळ येतील.
7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
8पण या सर्व गोष्टी म्हणजे प्रसूतीच्या कळांची सुरूवात अशा आहेत.
8But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.
9लोक तुमच्याशी वाईट वागतील. तुमचा छळ व्हावा आणि तुम्हांला जिवे मारावे यासाठी लोक तुम्हांला राज्यकर्त्याच्या हाती देतील. सर्व लोक तुमचा द्वेष करतील. तुम्ही माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवला म्हणून या गोष्टी तुमच्यावर ओढवतील.
9Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake.
10अशा वेळी बरेच विश्वासणारे आपला विश्वास गमावतील. ते एकमेकाविरुद्ध उठतील आणि एकमेकांचा द्वेष करतील.
10Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
11अनेक खोटे संदेष्टे येतील, ते लोकांना चुकीचे शिक्षण देतील व त्यावर विश्वास ठेवायला लावतील.
11Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.
12सतत वाढणाऱ्या दुष्टाईमुळे अधिकाधिक विश्र्वासणाऱ्यांची प्रीति कमी कमी होत जाईल.
12Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.
13सर्व जगभर देवाची सुवार्ता गाजविली जाईल व हे सर्व राष्ट्रातील लोकांना साक्ष असे होईल. आणि मग शेवट होईल.
13But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.
14दानीएल संदेष्ट्यांने एका अमंगळ गोष्टीविषयी सांगितले की, जिच्यामुळे नाश ओढवेल. अशी अमंगळ गोष्ट ही पवित्र जागी- मंदिरामध्ये उभी असलेली तुम्ही पाहाल.”
14This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
15तुम्ही लोक जे हे वाचाल ते याचा अर्थ समजून घ्या.
15"When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
16त्यावेळी यहूदातील लोकांनी डोंगरावर पळून जावे.
16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17जो कोणी छपरावर असेल त्याने घरातील सामान घेण्यासाठी उतरु नये.
17Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house.
18जर कोणी शेतात असेल तर त्याने आपला सदरा घेण्यासाठी परत जाऊ नये.
18Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.
19त्याकाळी गर्भवती असलेल्या अगर तान्ही बालके असलेल्या स्रियांना फार कठीण जाईल.
19But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!
20जेव्हा या गोष्टी होतील आणि तुम्हांला पळून जावे लागेल तेव्हा थंडीचे दिवस नसावेत अथवा शब्बाथ दिवस नसावा यासाठी प्रार्थना करा.
20Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath,
21कारण त्याकाळी फार पीडा येतील. जगाच्या आरंभापासून कधीही झाली नाही आणि पुन्हा कधी होणार नाही अशी पीडा त्या काळी भोगावी लागेल.
21for then there will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.
22आणखी, देवाने ते दिवस जर थोडेच ठेवले नसते तर कोणीच वाचले नसते. परंतु त्याच्या निवडलेल्यांमुळे तो ते दिवस थोडे करील.
22Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.
23त्या वेळी जर एखाद्याने तुम्हांला म्हटले, पहा! ख्रिस्त येथे आहे, किंवा तो तेथे आहे, तर त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवू नका.
23"Then if any man tells you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or, 'There,' don't believe it.
24खोटे ख्रिस्त आणि खोटे संदेष्टे उदयास येतील. ते महान आश्चर्यकारक चिन्हे दाखवतील. देवाच्या निवडलेल्या लोकांना ते चिन्हे दाखतील व लोकांना एवढेच नव्हे तर देवाच्या निडवलेल्यांना फसविण्याचा प्रयत्न करतील.
24For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
25या गोष्टी होण्या अगोदरच मी तुम्हांला सावध केले आहे.
25"Behold, I have told you beforehand.
26“एखादा मनुष्य तुम्हांला सांगेल, पाहा, मशीहा ओसाड रानात आहे. तर तेथे जाऊ नका. किंवा जर ते म्हणाले, पाहा, ख्रिस्त, आतल्या खोलीत लपला आहे, तर त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवू नका.
26If therefore they tell you, 'Behold, he is in the wilderness,' don't go out; 'Behold, he is in the inner chambers,' don't believe it.
27मी हे म्हणतो कारण वीज जशी पूर्वेकडून पश्चिमकडे चमकताना सर्वाना दिसते तसेच मनुष्याच्या पुत्राचे येणेदेखील असेल.
27For as the lightning comes forth from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28जेथे कोठे प्रेत असेल तेथे गिधाडेही असतील.
28For wherever the carcass is, there will the vultures be gathered together.
29“छळानंतर लगेच, असे घडेल:‘सूर्य अंधकारमय होईल व चंद्र प्रकाश देणार नाही. आकाशातील तारे व नक्षत्रे गळून पडतील आकाशातील सर्व शक्ती डळमळतील. आकाश गुंडाळीसारखे गुंडाळले जाईल.
29But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;
30“त्यावेळेला मनुष्याच्या पुत्राच्या येण्याचे चिन्ह आकाशात दिसेल. तेव्हा जगातील सर्व लोक शोक करतील. मनुष्याच्या पुत्राला सर्व जण मेघावर बसून येताना पाहतील. तो महासामर्थ्य आणि वैभव यांच्यासह येईल.
30and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
31मनुष्याचा पुत्र तुतारीचा मोठा नाद करून आपले दूत पृथ्तीभोवती पाठवून देईल. ते पृथ्वीच्या चारही कोपऱ्यातून, आकाशाच्या एका सीमेपासून दुसऱ्या सीमेपर्यंत निवडलेल्यांना गोळा करतील.
31He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
32“अंजिराच्या झाडापासून शिका: अंजिराच्या झाडाच्या फांद्या जेव्हा हिरव्या आणि कोवळ्या असतात आणि पाने फुटू लागतात तेव्हा उन्हाळा जवळ आला. हे तुम्हांला कळते.
32"Now from the fig tree learn this parable. When its branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near.
33मी तुम्हांला ज्याविषयी सांगितले त्याबाबतीतही असेच होईल जेव्हा या सर्व गोष्टी तुम्ही पाहाल तेव्हा वेळ जवळ येत आहे हे तुम्ही ओळखाल.
33Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34मी तुम्हांला खरे सांगतो: या गोष्टी होत असताना आजची ही पिढी नाहीशी होणार नाही.
34Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.
35सर्व जग, आकाश, पृथ्वी नाहीशी होतील पण माझी वचने कधीही नष्ट होणार नाहीत.
35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
36“पण त्या दिवसाविषयी आणि त्या घटके विषयी कोणालाही माहीत नाही, स्वर्गातील देवदूतांनाही नाही, किंवा खुद्द पुत्रालाही नाही. फक्त पिताच हे जाणतो.
36But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37नोहाच्या काळी घडले तसे मनुष्याच्या पुत्राच्या येण्याच्या वेळेसही होईल.
37"As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
38महापूर येण्याअगोदर लोक खातपीत होते. लोक लग्न करीत होते. लग्न करून देत होते. नोहा जहाजात जाईपर्यत लोक या गोष्टी करीत होते.
38For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39त्यांना माहीत नव्हते की काही तरी घडणार आहे. परंतु नंतर पूर आला आणि सर्व लोक मरून गेले. मनुष्याचा पुत्र आल्यावर असेच होईल.
39and they didn't know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
40दोघे जण शेतात एकत्र काम करत असतील तर त्यातला एक जण वर घेतला जाईल आणि दुसरा तेथेच राहील.
40Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left;
41दोन स्त्रिया जात्यावर धान्य दळत असतील तर त्या दोघीतील एक वर घेतली जाईल आणि दुसरी तेथेच राहील.
41two women grinding at the mill, one will be taken and one will be left.
42“म्हणून तुम्ही तयार असा, कारण तुम्हांला माहीत नाही की कोणत्या दिवशी तुमचा प्रभु येत आहे,
42Watch therefore, for you don't know in what hour your Lord comes.
43हे लक्षात ठेवा, चोर केव्हा येईल हे जर घराच्या मालकाला माहीत असते तर तो त्यासाठी तयारीत राहिला असता आणि त्याने चोराला घर फोडू दिले नसते.
43But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44या कारणासाठी तुम्हीसुद्धा तयार असले पाहिजे. जेव्हा तुम्हांला अपेक्षा नसेल तेव्हा मनुष्याचा पुत्र येईल.
44Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect, the Son of Man will come.
45“शहाणा आणि विश्वासू सेवक कोण बरे? दुसऱ्या सेवकांना वेळेवर जेवण देण्याचे काम मालक एका सेवकावर सोपवितो. हे काम करण्यासाठी मालक कोणाला विश्वासाने सांगेल?
45"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?
46मालक आल्यावर आपले दिलेले काम करीत असलेला सेवक खरोखर धन्य!
46Blessed is that servant whom his lord finds doing so when he comes.
47मी तुम्हांला सांगतो: मालक आपल्या सर्व मालमत्तेवर त्या सेवकाची नेमणूक करील.
47Most assuredly I tell you that he will set him over all that he has.
48“पण जर सेवक वाईट निघाला आणि आपला मालक लवकर घरी परत येणार नाही असे म्हणाला तर काय होईल?
48But if that evil servant should say in his heart, 'My lord is delaying his coming,'
49तो सेवक इतर सेवकांना मारहाण करील आणि आपल्यासारख्या लोकांबरोबर जेवण करील आणि दारू पिऊन मस्त होईल.
49and begins to beat his fellow-servants, and eat and drink with the drunken,
50आणि तो सेवक तयारीत नसेल अशा वेळी मालक येईल.
50the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn't expect it, and in an hour when he doesn't know it,
51मग मालक त्या सेवकाचे तुकडे करील. त्या सेवकाला मालक ढोंगी लोकांबरोबर राहायला पाठवील. आणि त्या ठिकाणी रडणे व दात खाणे चालेल.
51and will cut him in pieces, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
