1परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला,
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2“तू इस्राएल लोकांना आणखी असे सांग की इस्राएल लोकांपैकी किंवा इस्राएल लोकांमध्ये राहाणाऱ्या परदेशीयापैकी कोणी आपल्या मुलाबाळांतून एखादे मूल मोलख दैवतास अर्पील तर त्या माणसाला जिवे मारावे! आपल्या देशाच्या लोकांनी त्याला धोंडमार करावा!
2"Moreover, you shall tell the children of Israel, 'Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners in Israel, who gives any of his seed to Molech; he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3मीही त्या माणसाच्या विरुद्ध होईन! आणि त्याला आपल्या लोकांतून बाहेर टाकीन! कारण त्याने आपले मूल मोलख दैवतास अर्पून माझे पवित्रस्थान भ्रष्ट केले व माझ्या पवित्र नांवाला कलंक लावला!
3I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people because he has given of his seed to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4मोलख दैवताला आपले मूल अर्पिण्याकडे देशाचे इतर सामान्य लोक डोळेझांके करुन त्याला जिवे मारणार नाहीत.
4If the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person, when he gives of his seed to Molech, and don't put him to death;
5तर मी त्या माणसाच्या व त्याच्या कुटुंबाच्या विरुद्ध होईन! आणि त्याला व मजवर अविश्वास दाखवून जे कोणी मोलख दैवताच्या नादी लागून त्याच्या मागे जातील त्यांना आपल्या लोकांतून बाहेर टाकीन!
5then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all who play the prostitute after him, to play the prostitute with Molech, from among their people.
6“जो माणूस सल्लामसलत विचारण्यास पंचाक्षऱ्याकडे व चेटक्याकडे जातो तो माझ्याशी विश्वासघात करीत आहे.मी त्याच्या विरुद्ध होईन व त्याला आपल्या लोकांतून बाहेर टाकीन.
6"'The person that turns to those who are mediums, and to the wizards, to play the prostitute after them, I will even set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.
7“म्हणून पावन व्हा! आपणास पवित्र करा! कारण मी तुमचा देव परमेश्वर आहे!
7"'Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am Yahweh your God.
8तुम्ही माझ्या नियमांची आठवण ठेवून ते पाळा; तुम्हाला पवित्र करणारा मीच परमेश्वर आहे!
8You shall keep my statutes, and do them. I am Yahweh who sanctifies you.
9“जो माणूस आपल्या बापाला किंवा आपल्या आईला शिव्याशाप देईल त्याला अवश्य जिवे मारावे;त्याने आपल्या बापाला व आपल्या आईला शिव्याशाप दिला आहे म्हणून त्याच्या रक्तपाताची जबाबदारी त्याच्याच माथी राहील.
9"'For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
10“जो माणूस आपल्या शेजाऱ्याच्या बायकोपाशी जातो तो माणूस व ती स्त्री, ती दोघेही व्यभिचाराच्या पापाचे अपराधी आहेत; त्या जाराला व जारिणीला अवश्य जिवे मारावे.
10"'The man who commits adultery with another man's wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11जो आपल्या बापाच्या बायकोपाशी जातो तो आपल्या बापाची लाज उघडी करतो! तो माणूस व त्याच्या बापाची बायको त्या दोघांनाही अवश्य जिवे मारावे; त्यांच्या रक्तपाताची जबाबदारी त्यांच्याच माथी राहील.
11The man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
12“एखादा पुरुष आपल्या सुनेशी शारीरिक संबंध ठेवेल तर त्या दोघांनाही अवश्य जिवे मारावे; त्यांनी शरीरसंबंधाचे भयंकर पाप केले आहे! त्यांच्या रक्तपाताची जबाबदारी त्यांच्याच माथी राहील.
12"'If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have committed a perversion; their blood shall be upon them.
13“एखाद्या पुरुषाने स्त्रीगमनाप्रमाणे पुरुषगमन केले तर ते भयंकर पाप त्या दोघांनी केले आहे म्हणून त्या दोघांनाही अवश्य जिवे मारावे; त्यांच्या रक्तपाताची जबाबदारी त्याच्याच माथीं राहील.
13If a man lies with a male, as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14“कोणा पुरुषाने एखादी स्त्री व तिची मुलगी ह्या दोघींबरोबर विवाह केला तर तो अतिदुष्टपणा होय. त्या पुरुषाला व त्या दोन्ही स्त्रीयांना अग्नीत जाळून टाकावे! तुमच्यामध्ये असे अतिदुष्टपणाचे पाप होऊ देऊ नये!
14"'If a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burned with fire, both he and they; that there may be no wickedness among you.
15कोणा पुरुषाने पशूगमन केले तर त्याला अवश्य जिवे मारावे आणि त्या पशूलाही मारुन टाकावे.
15"'If a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; and you shall kill the animal.
16कोणी स्त्री पशूगमन करील तर त्या स्त्रीला व त्या पशूला जिवे मारावे; त्यांना अवश्य मारुन टाकावे; त्यांच्या रक्तपाताची जबाबदारी त्यांच्याच माथी राहील.
16"'If a woman approaches any animal, and lies down with it, you shall kill the woman, and the animal: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
17“कोणी आपल्या बहिणीला, मग ती त्याच्या बापाची मुलगी असो किंवा त्याच्या आईची मुलगी असो, आपली बायको करुन घेईल व ती दोघे शरीरसंबंध करतील तर ते लाजीरवाणे कर्म आहे! त्या दोघांना आपल्या भाऊबंदादेखत शिक्षा व्हावी! त्यांना आपल्या लोकांतून बाहेर टाकावे. त्याने आपल्या बहिणीबरोबर केलेल्या वाईट कर्माबद्दल शिक्षा भोगावी.
17"'If a man takes his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness; it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people: he has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18“ऋतुमती स्त्रीशी कोणी पुरुषाने शरीर संबंध केला तर तो पुरुष व ती स्त्री ह्या दोघांनाही त्यांच्या लोकांतून बाहेर टाकावे; कारण त्यांने तिच्या रक्ताचा झरा उघडा करुन पाप केले आहे.
18"'If a man lies with a woman having her monthly period, and uncovers her nakedness; he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19आपली मावशी किंवा आपली आत्या ह्याच्याशी शारीरिक संबंध ठेवू नयेत व तसे करणाऱ्याच्या हातून मात्रागमनाचे पाप घडेल, त्यांनी आपल्या दुष्कर्माबद्दल शिक्षा भोगावी.
19"'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, nor of your father's sister; for he has made naked his close relative: they shall bear their iniquity.
20“कोणी आपल्या चुलतीशी शारीरिक संबंध ठेवेल तर त्याने आपल्या चुलत्याची लाज उघडी केली असे होईल; ते आपल्या पापाची शिक्षा भोगतील व संतती न होता मरतील.
20If a man lies with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21आपल्या भावजयीशी शारीरिक संबंध ठेवणे हे पापी कृत्य आहे; जो कोणी असे करील त्याने आपल्या भावाची लाज उघडी केली असे होईल! त्यांना संततीहोणार नाही.
21"'If a man takes his brother's wife, it is an impurity: he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
22“म्हणून तुम्ही माझे सर्व विधी व माझे सर्व नियम ह्यांची आठवण ठेवून ते पाळावे म्हणजे ज्या देशात मी तुम्हाला घेऊन जात आहे त्यात तुमची वस्ती होईल; तो देश तुमचा त्याग करणार नाही.
22"'You shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them; that the land, where I am bringing you to dwell, may not vomit you out.
23ज्या राष्ट्रांना मी तुमच्या पुढून घालवून देत आहे त्यांनी असली सर्व पापी कृत्ये केली म्हणून मला त्यांचा वीट आला! तुम्ही त्यांच्या रीतीरीवाजाप्रमाणे चालू नका.
23You shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I am casting out before you: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24“मी तुम्हास सांगितले आहे की त्यांचा देशतुमचे वतन होईल! तो मी तुमच्या ताब्यात देत आहे.“त्यात दुधामधाचे प्रवाह वाहात आहेत; इतर राष्ट्रापासून वेगळे करुन मी तुम्हाला माझे विशेष लोक म्हणून चालविले आहे. मी तुमचा देव परमेश्वर आहे!
24But I have said to you, "You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey." I am Yahweh your God, who has separated you from the peoples.
25म्हणून तुम्ही शुद्ध व अशुद्ध पशू व शुद्ध व अशुद्ध पक्षी ह्यांच्यातील भेद पाळावा, आणि जे पशू, पक्षी व जमिनीवर रांगणारे प्राणी मी अशुद्ध ठरविले आहेत ते तुम्ही खाऊ नये.
25"'You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and you shall not make yourselves abominable by animal, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you as unclean for you.
26तुम्ही माझेच असावे म्हणून मी तुम्हाला इतर राष्ट्रांपासून वेगळे केले आहे; तुम्ही माझ्याकरिता पवित्र व्हावे! कारण मी तुमचा परमेश्वर आहे आणि मी पवित्र आहे!
26You shall be holy to me: for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.
27कोणी पंचाक्षरी किंवा चेटूक करणारा असला, मग तो पुरुष असो किंवा स्त्री असो, त्यांना अवश्य जिवे मारावे; लोकांनी त्यांना धोंडमार करावा; त्यांच्या रक्तपाताची जबाबदारी त्यांच्याच माथी राहील.”
27"'A man or a woman that is a medium, or is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them.'"
