पुढे इस्राएल लोक समर्थ बनले तेव्हा त्यांनी या लोकांना आपले गुलाम म्हणून काम करायला लावले. पण कनानी लोकांना शहर सोडून जायला ते भाग पाडू शकले नाहीत.
