त्या गावातील पुष्कळ शोमरोनी लोकांनी येशूवर विश्वास ठेवला. त्या स्त्रीने येशूविषयी जे सांगितले त्यावरुन त्यांनी विश्वास ठेवला. तिने त्यांना सांगितले होते, “मी केलेली प्रत्येक गोष्ट त्याने मला सांगितली.”
