मराठी बायबल
ज्याला मजुरी देऊन मेंढरे राखायला ठेवलेले असते तो मेंढपाळापेक्षा निराळा असतो. मजुरीवर मेंढरे राखणारा कळपाचा मालक नसतो. मेंढपाळ हाच कळपाचा मालक असतो. म्हणून मजुरीवर काम करणार माणूस लांडगा येताना पाहून मेंढरे सोडतो आणि पळून जातो. मग लांडगा मेंढरांवर हल्ला करुन त्यांची दाणादाण करतो.
World English Bible
He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who doesn't own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep, and flees. The wolf snatches the sheep, and scatters them.
