परंतु बऱ्याच अंतरावरुन जेव्हा त्यांनी ईयोबला पाहिले तेव्हा तो ईयोबच आहे याची त्यांना खात्री वाटेना. तो खूप वेगळा दिसत होता. त्यांनी मोठ्याने रडायला सुरुवात केली. आपले दु:ख प्रकट करण्यासाठी त्यांनी आपले कपडे फाडले आणि धूळ आपल्या डोक्यावर उडवून घेतली.

When they lifted up their eyes from a distance, and didn't recognize him, they raised their voices, and wept; and they each tore his robe, and sprinkled dust on their heads toward the sky.
