“यिर्मया, तुझे केस कापून दूर फेकून दे.उजाड डोंगरमाथ्यावर जा आणि रड. का? परमेश्वराने माणसांच्या ह्या पिढीला नाकारले आहे. परमेश्वराने ह्या लोकांकडे पाठ फिरविली आहे. रागाच्या भरात तो त्यांना शिक्षा करील.

Cut off your hair, Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights; for Yahweh has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
