ह्या प्रश्र्नाचे उत्तर पुढीलप्रमाणे असेल: ‘यहूदातील लोक परमेश्वर देवाबरोबर झालेल्या कराराप्रमाणे वागले नाहीत. त्यांनी अन्य दैवतांना पूजले आणि त्यांची सेवा केली, म्हणून देवाने यरुशलेमचा नाश केला.”

Then they shall answer, Because they forsook the covenant of Yahweh their God, and worshiped other gods, and served them.
