आपला भाचा याकोब आल्याचे वर्तमान लाबानाने ऐकले तेव्हा लाबान धावत त्याला भेटावयास गेला; त्याने याकोबला मिठी मारली व त्याची चुंबने घेतली आणि त्याला आपल्या घरी आणले; मग याकाबाने घडलेल्या सर्व गोष्टी आपला मामा लाबान याला सांगितल्या.

It happened, when Laban heard the news of Jacob, his sister's son, that he ran to meet Jacob, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. Jacob told Laban all these things.
