यरुशलेमच्या मंदिरात भयानक कृत्ये करण्यासाठी उत्तरेचा राजा सैन्या पाठवील ते सैन्य लोकांना नित्याचे होमार्पण अर्पणे करू देणार नाहीत.मग तो काह?तरी खरखरच भयंकर कत्य करतील विनाशास कारणीभत हणारी भयंकर गोष्ट ते स्थापन करतील.

Forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt offering, and they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.
