मी जर काही गुन्हा केला असेल तर मला मरणदंड झाला पाहिजे. आणि त्यापासून सुटका व्हावी असा प्रयत्न मी करणार नाही. परंतु जे आरोप हे लोक माझ्यावर करीत आहेत, ते खरे नसतील तर मला कोणी यांच्या हाती देऊ शकणार नाही, मी आपले गाऱ्हाणे कैसरासमोर मांडू इच्छितो.”

For if I have done wrong, and have committed anything worthy of death, I don't refuse to die; but if none of those things is true that they accuse me of, no one can give me up to them. I appeal to Caesar!"
