पण ज्या यहूदी लोकांनी विश्वास ठेवला नव्हता, ते जळफळू लागले. शहरातून काही दुष्ट माणसांना त्यांनी भाड्याने आणले. त्या दुष्ट माणसांनी आणखी लोकांना जमा केले व शहरात अशांतता निर्माण केली. लोक यासोनाच्या घरी गेले. पौल व सीला यांचा शोध घेत ते गेले. त्या लोकांची अशी इच्छा होती की, पौल व सीला यांना लोकांसमोर आणायचे.

But the unpersuaded Jews took along some wicked men from the marketplace, and gathering a crowd, set the city in an uproar. Assaulting the house of Jason, they sought to bring them out to the people.
