देव त्याच्या अभिवचनाची परिपूर्ती करण्यासाठी उशीर लावणार नाही. जसे काही लोकांना वाटते,परंतु तो आमच्याशी धीराने वागतो. कारण आपल्यापैकी कोणाचा नाश व्हावा असे त्याला वाटत नाही. वास्तविक सर्वलोकांनी पश्चात्ताप करावा असे त्याला वाटते.

The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
