ഞാന് പുതിയ ആകാശവും പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും കണ്ടു; ഒന്നാമത്തെ ആകാശവും ഒന്നാമത്തെ ഭൂമിയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; സമുദ്രവും ഇനി ഇല്ല.

I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.
2
പുതിയ യെരൂശലേം എന്ന വിശുദ്ധനഗരം ഭര്ത്താവിന്നായി അലങ്കരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മണവാട്ടിയെപ്പോലെ ഒരുങ്ങി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു, ദൈവസന്നിധിയില്നിന്നു തന്നേ, ഇറങ്ങുന്നതും ഞാന് കണ്ടു.

I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.

സിംഹാസനത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു മഹാശബ്ദം പറയുന്നതായി ഞാന് കേട്ടതുഇതാ, മനുഷ്യരോടു കൂടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൂടാരം; അവന് അവരോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കും; അവര് അവന്റെ ജനമായിരിക്കും; ദൈവം താന് അവരുടെ ദൈവമായി അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.

I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

അവന് അവരുടെ കണ്ണില് നിന്നു കണ്ണുനീര് എല്ലാം തുടെച്ചുകളയും.
4
He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."

ഇനി മരണം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ദുഃഖവും മുറവിളിയും കഷ്ടതയും ഇനി ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഒന്നാമത്തേതു കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന് ഇതാ, ഞാന് സകലവും പുതുതാക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. എഴുതുക, ഈ വചനം വിശ്വാസയോഗ്യവും സത്യവും ആകുന്നു എന്നും അവന് കല്പിച്ചു.

He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

പിന്നെയും അവന് എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുസംഭവിച്ചുതീര്ന്നു; ഞാന് അല്ഫയും ഔമേഗയും ആദിയും അന്തവും ആകുന്നു; ദാഹിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാന് ജിവനീരുറവില് നിന്നു സൌജന്യമായി കൊടുക്കും.

He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.

ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഇതു അവകാശമായി ലഭിക്കും; ഞാന് അവന്നു ദൈവവും അവന് എനിക്കു മകനുമായിരിക്കും.

He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.
8
എന്നാല് ഭീരുക്കള്, അവിശ്വാസികള് അറെക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് കുലപാതകന്മാര്, ദുര്ന്നടപ്പുകാര്, ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാര്, ബിംബാരാധികള് എന്നിവര്ക്കും ഭോഷകുപറയുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും ഉള്ള ഔഹരി തീയും ഗന്ധകവും കത്തുന്ന പൊയ്കയിലത്രേഅതു രണ്ടാമത്തെ മരണം.

But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

അന്ത്യബാധ ഏഴും നിറഞ്ഞ ഏഴു കലശം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന് വന്നു എന്നോടുവരിക, കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ കാന്തയായ മണവാട്ടിയെ കാണിച്ചുതരാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb's bride."

അവന് എന്നെ ആത്മവിവശതയില് ഉയര്ന്നോരു വന്മലയില് കൊണ്ടുപോയി, യെരൂശലേമെന്ന വിശുദ്ധനഗരം സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു, ദൈവസന്നിധിയില്നിന്നു തന്നേ, ദൈവതേജസ്സുള്ളതായി ഇറങ്ങുന്നതു കാണിച്ചുതന്നു.

He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

അതിന്റെ ജ്യോതിസ്സു ഏറ്റവും വിലയേറിയ രത്നത്തിന്നു തുല്യമായി സ്ഫടികസ്വച്ഛതയുള്ള സൂര്യകാന്തം പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, as if it was a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12
അതിന്നു പൊക്കമുള്ള വന്മതിലും പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോപുരവും ഗോപുരങ്ങളില് പന്ത്രണ്ടു ദൂതന്മാരും ഉണ്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോത്രങ്ങളുടെയും പേര് കൊത്തീട്ടും ഉണ്ടു.

having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

കിഴക്കു മൂന്നു ഗോപുരം, വടക്കുമൂന്നു ഗോപുരം, തെക്കു മൂന്നു ഗോപുരം, പടിഞ്ഞാറു മൂന്നു ഗോപുരം.

On the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

നഗരത്തിന്റെ മതിലിന്നു പന്ത്രണ്ടു അടിസ്ഥാനവും അതില് കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പേരും ഉണ്ടു.

The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
15
എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചവന്നു നഗരത്തെയും അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെയും മതിലിനെയും അളക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു അളവുകോല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

He who spoke with me had for a measure, a golden reed, to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.
16
നഗരം സമചതുരമായി കിടക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ വീതിയും നീളവും സമം. അളവുകോല്കൊണ്ടു അവന് നഗരത്തെ അളന്നു, ആയിരത്തിരുനൂറു നാഴിക കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ നീളവും വീതിയും ഉയരവും സമം തന്നേ.

The city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as its breadth. He measured the city with the reed, Twelve thousand twelve stadia. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.

അതിന്റെ മതില് അളന്നു; മനുഷ്യന്റെ അളവിന്നു എന്നുവെച്ചാല് ദൂതന്റെ അളവിന്നു തന്നേ, നൂറ്റിനാല്പത്തിനാലു മുഴം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Its wall is one hundred forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
18
മതിലിന്റെ പണി സൂര്യകാന്തവും നഗരം സ്വച്ഛസ്ഫടികത്തിന്നൊത്ത തങ്കവും ആയിരുന്നു.

The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.

നഗരമതിലിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് സകല രത്നവുംകൊണ്ടു അലങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഒന്നാം അടിസ്ഥാനം സൂര്യകാന്തം രണ്ടാമത്തേതു നീലരത്നം, മൂന്നാമത്തേതു മാണിക്യം, നാലാമത്തേതു മരതകം,

The foundations of the city's wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
20
അഞ്ചാമത്തേതു നഖവര്ണ്ണി, ആറാമത്തേതു ചുവപ്പുകല്ലു, ഏഴാമത്തേതു പീതരത്നം, എട്ടാമത്തേതു ഗോമേദകം, ഒമ്പതാമത്തേതു പുഷ്യരാഗം, പത്താമത്തേതു വൈഡൂര്യം, പതിനൊന്നാമത്തേതു പത്മരാഗം, പന്ത്രണ്ടാമത്തേതു സുഗന്ധീ രത്നം.

the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; and the twelfth, amethyst.
21
പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോപുരവും പന്ത്രണ്ടു മുത്തു; ഔരോ ഗോപുരം ഔരോ മുത്തുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതും നഗരത്തിന്റെ വീഥി സ്വച്ഛസ്ഫടികത്തിന്നു തുല്യമായ തങ്കവും ആയിരുന്നു.

The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
22
മന്ദിരം അതില് കണ്ടില്ല; സര്വ്വശക്തിയുള്ള ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവും കുഞ്ഞാടും അതിന്റെ മന്ദിരം ആകുന്നു.

I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.
23
നഗരത്തില് പ്രകാശിപ്പാന് സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും ആവശ്യമില്ല; ദൈവതേജസ്സു അതിനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു; കുഞ്ഞാടു അതിന്റെ വിളകൂ ആകുന്നു.

The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
24
ജാതികള് അതിന്റെ വെളിച്ചത്തില് നടക്കും; ഭൂമിയുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാര് തങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വം അതിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും.

The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
25
അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങള് പകല്ക്കാലത്തു അടെക്കുകയില്ല; രാത്രി അവിടെ ഇല്ലല്ലോ.
25
Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),
26
ജാതികളുടെ മഹത്വവും ബഹുമാനവും അതിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും.
26
and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.
27
കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ ജീവ പുസ്തകത്തില്എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നവരല്ലാതെ അശുദ്ധമായതു യാതൊന്നും മ്ളേച്ഛതയും ഭോഷകും പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന് ആരും അതില് കടക്കയില്ല.

There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.
