1യഹോവേ, ചെവി ചായിക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളേണമേ; ഞാന്‍ എളിയവനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു.
1A Prayer by David. Hear, Yahweh, and answer me, For I am poor and needy.
2എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാക്കേണമേ; ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ ഭക്തനാകുന്നു; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നില്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന അടിയനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.
2Preserve my soul, for I am godly. You, my God, save your servant who trusts in you.
3കര്‍ത്താവേ, എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഇടവിടാതെ ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.
3Be merciful to me, Lord, For I call to you all day long.
4അടിയന്റെ ഉള്ളത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ഉള്ളം ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്നു.
4Bring joy to the soul of your servant, For to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5കര്‍ത്താവേ, നീ നല്ലവനും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനും നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരോടൊക്കെയും മഹാദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.
5For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; Abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.
6യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയെ ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ. എന്റെ യാചനകളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.
6Hear, Yahweh, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions.
7നീ എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളുകയാല്‍ എന്റെ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തില്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
7In the day of my trouble I will call on you, For you will answer me.
8കര്‍ത്താവേ, ദേവന്മാരില്‍ നിനക്കു തുല്യനായവനില്ല; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ക്കു തുല്യമായ ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തിയുമില്ല.
8There is no one like you among the gods, Lord, Nor any deeds like your deeds.
9കര്‍ത്താവേ, നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകലജാതികളും തിരുമുമ്പില്‍ വന്നു നമസ്കരിക്കും; അവര്‍ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.
9All nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord. They shall glorify your name.
10നീ വലിയവനും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നവനുമല്ലോ; നീ മാത്രം ദൈവമാകുന്നു.
10For you are great, and do wondrous things. You are God alone.
11യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വഴി എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരേണമേ; എന്നാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ സത്യത്തില്‍ നടക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന്‍ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ഏകാഗ്രമാക്കേണമേ.
11Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name.
12എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കര്‍ത്താവേ, ഞാന്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.
12I will praise you, Lord my God, with my whole heart. I will glorify your name forevermore.
13എന്നോടുള്ള നിന്റെ ദയ വലിയതല്ലോ; നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ അധമപാതാളത്തില്‍ നിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
13For your loving kindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.
14ദൈവമേ, അഹങ്കാരികള്‍ എന്നോടു എതിര്‍ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഘോരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന്‍ നോക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ നിന്നെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
14God, the proud have risen up against me. A company of violent men have sought after my soul, And they don't hold regard for you before them.
15നീയോ കര്‍ത്താവേ, കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ദീര്‍ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവന്‍ തന്നേ.
15But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, Slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.
16എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദാസന്നു നിന്റെ ശക്തി തന്നു, നിന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.
16Turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give your strength to your servant. Save the son of your handmaid.
17എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര്‍ കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നന്മെക്കായി ഒരു അടയാളം എനിക്കു തരേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നീ എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. (കോരഹ് പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം.)
17Show me a sign of your goodness, That those who hate me may see it, and be shamed, Because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.
