1ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം.

1A Psalm by David. Yahweh says to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand, Until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet."

2യഹോവ എന്റെ കര്‍ത്താവിനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതുഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിന്റെ പാദപീഠമാക്കുവോളം നീ എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്ക.

2Yahweh will send forth the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.

3നിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള ചെങ്കോല്‍ യഹോവ സീയോനില്‍നിന്നു നീട്ടും; നീ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ വാഴുക.

3Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.

4നിന്റെ സേനാദിവസത്തില്‍ നിന്റെ ജനം നിനക്കു സ്വമേധാദാനമായിരിക്കുന്നു; വിശുദ്ധ വസ്ത്രാലങ്കാരത്തോടുകൂടെ ഉഷസ്സിന്റെ ഉദരത്തില്‍നിന്നു യുവാക്കളായ മഞ്ഞു നിനക്കു വരുന്നു.

4Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."

5നീ മല്‍ക്കീസേദെക്കിന്റെ വിധത്തില്‍ എന്നേക്കും ഒരു പുരോഹിതന്‍ എന്നു യഹോവ സത്യം ചെയ്തു, അനുതപിക്കയുമില്ല.

5The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.

6നിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്കുന്ന കര്‍ത്താവു തന്റെ ക്രോധദിവസത്തില്‍ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ തകര്‍ത്തുകളയും.

6He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

7അവന്‍ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും; അവന്‍ എല്ലാടവും ശവങ്ങള്‍കൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കും; അവന്‍ വിസ്താരമായ ദേശത്തിന്റെ തലവനെ തകര്‍ത്തുകളയും.

7He will drink of the brook in the way; Therefore he will lift up his head.

8അവന്‍ വഴിയരികെയുള്ള തോട്ടില്‍നിന്നു കുടിക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്‍ തല ഉയര്‍ത്തും.
