അവര്ക്കും എഴുത്തുകളും ആലയത്തോടു ചേര്ന്ന കോട്ടവാതിലുകള്ക്കും പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ മതിലിന്നും ഞാന് ചെന്നു പാര്പ്പാനിരിക്കുന്ന വീട്ടിന്നും വേണ്ടി ഉത്തരം മുതലായവ ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാന് രാജാവിന്റെ വനവിചാരകനായ ആസാഫ് എനിക്കു മരം തരേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്നു ഒരു എഴുത്തും നല്കേണമേ എന്നും ഞാന് രാജാവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു. എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയയുള്ള കൈ എനിക്കു അനുകൂലമായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു രാജാവു അതു എനിക്കു തന്നു.
World English Bible
and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the castle which appertains to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. The king granted me, according to the good hand of my God on me.
