എന്നാല് ഹോരോന്യനായ സന് ബല്ലത്തും അമ്മോന്യനായ ദാസന് തോബീയാവും അരാബ്യനായ ഗേശെമും ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു ഞങ്ങളെ പരിഹസിച്ചു നിന്ദിച്ചു; നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ കാര്യം എന്തു? നിങ്ങള് രാജാവിനോടു മത്സരിപ്പാന് ഭാവിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they ridiculed us, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that you do? will you rebel against the king?
