1എന്നാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞതുയാക്കോബിന്റെ തലവന്മാരും യിസ്രായേല്‍ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അധിപന്മാരുമായുള്ളോരേ, കേള്‍പ്പിന്‍ ! ന്യായം അറിയുന്നതു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വിഹിതമല്ലയോ?
1I said, "Please listen, you heads of Jacob, And rulers of the house of Israel: Isn't it for you to know justice?
2നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്മയെ ദ്വേഷിച്ചു തിന്മയെ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങള്‍ ത്വകൂ അവരുടെ മേല്‍നിന്നും മാംസം അവരുടെ അസ്ഥികളില്‍നിന്നും പറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
2You who hate the good, And love the evil; Who tear off their skin, And their flesh from off their bones;
3നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നു അവരുടെ ത്വകൂ അവരുടെ മേല്‍ നിന്നു ഉരിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; നിങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ അസ്ഥികളെ ഒടിച്ചു കലത്തില്‍ ഇടുവാന്‍ എന്നപോലെയും കുട്ടകത്തിന്നകത്തെ മാംസംപോലെയും മുറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
3Who also eat the flesh of my people, And flay their skin from off them, And break their bones, And chop them in pieces, as for the pot, And as flesh within the caldron.
4അന്നു അവര്‍ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിക്കും; എന്നാല്‍ അവന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും ഉത്തരം അരുളുകയില്ല; അവര്‍ ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ചെയ്തതിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം അവന്‍ ആ കാലത്തു തന്റെ മുഖം അവര്‍ക്കും മറെക്കും.
4Then they will cry to Yahweh, But he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, Because they made their deeds evil."
5എന്റെ ജനത്തെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളകയും പല്ലിന്നു കടിപ്പാന്‍ വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ സമാധാനം പ്രസംഗിക്കയും അവരുടെ വായില്‍ ഒന്നും ഇട്ടുകൊടുക്കാത്തവന്റെ നേരെ വിശുദ്ധയുദ്ധം ഘോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു
5Thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who lead my people astray; for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, "Peace!" and whoever doesn't provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him:
6അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ദര്‍ശനമില്ലാത്ത രാത്രിയും ലക്ഷണം പറവാന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത ഇരുട്ടും ഉണ്ടാകും. പ്രവാചകന്മാര്‍ക്കും സൂര്യന്‍ അസ്തമിക്കയും പകല്‍ ഇരുണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും.
6"Therefore night is over you, with no vision, And it is dark to you, that you may not divine; And the sun will go down on the prophets, And the day will be black over them.
7അപ്പോള്‍ ദര്‍ശകന്മാര്‍ ലജ്ജിക്കും; ലക്ഷണം പറയുന്നവര്‍ നാണിക്കും; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഉത്തരം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവര്‍ ഒക്കെയും വായ് പൊത്തും.
7The seers shall be disappointed, And the diviners confounded. Yes, they shall all cover their lips; For there is no answer from God."
8എങ്കിലും ഞാന്‍ യാക്കോബിനോടു അവന്റെ അതിക്രമവും യിസ്രായേലിനോടു അവന്റെ പാപവും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവിനാല്‍ ശക്തിയും ന്യായവും വീര്യവുംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
8But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Yahweh, And of judgment, and of might, To declare to Jacob his disobedience, And to Israel his sin.
9ന്യായം വെറുക്കയും ചൊവ്വുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും വളെച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരും യിസ്രായേല്‍ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അധിപന്മാരുമായുള്ളോരേ, ഇതു കേള്‍പ്പിന്‍ .
9Please listen to this, you heads of the house of Jacob, And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice, And pervert all equity.
10അവര്‍ സീയോനെ രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടും യെരൂശലേമിനെ ദ്രോഹംകൊണ്ടും പണിയുന്നു.
10They build up Zion with blood, And Jerusalem with iniquity.
11അതിലെ തലവന്മാര്‍ സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങി ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്‍ കൂലി വാങ്ങി ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര്‍ പണം വാങ്ങി ലക്ഷണം പറയുന്നു; എന്നിട്ടും അവര്‍ യഹോവയെ ചാരിയഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ഇല്ലയോ? അനര്‍ത്ഥം നമുക്കു വരികയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു.
11Her leaders judge for bribes, And her priests teach for a price, And her prophets of it tell forturnes for money: Yet they lean on Yahweh, and say, Isn't Yahweh in the midst of us? No disaster will come on us.
12അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തം സീയോനെ വയല്‍പോലെയും ഉഴും; യെരൂശലേം കലക്കുന്നുകളും ആലയത്തിന്റെ പര്‍വ്വതം കാട്ടിലെ മേടുകള്‍ പോലെയും ആയ്തീരും.
12Therefore Zion for your sake will be plowed like a field, And Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, And the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.
