ദൂതന് അവനോടുഞാന് ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് നിലക്കുന്ന ഗബ്രിയേല് ആകുന്നു; നിന്നോടു സംസാരിപ്പാനും ഈ സദ്വര്ത്തമാനം നിന്നോടു അറിയിപ്പാനും എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

The angel answered him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God. I was sent to speak to you, and to bring you this good news.
