അവന് കിടക്കുന്നതു യേശു കണ്ടു, ഇങ്ങനെ ഏറിയ കാലമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നറിഞ്ഞുനിനക്കു സൌഖ്യമാകുവാന് മനസ്സുണ്ടോ എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been sick for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to be made well?"
