1എളിയവരോടു സദ്വര്‍‍ത്തമാനം ഘോഷിപ്പാന്‍ യഹോവ എന്നെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്‍‍ത്താവിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്റെ മേല്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഹൃദയം തകര്‍‍ന്നവരെ മുറികെട്ടുവാനും തടവുകാര്‍‍കൂ വിടുതലും ബദ്ധന്മാര്‍‍കൂ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും അറിയിപ്പാനും
1The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദവര്‍‍ഷവും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രതികാരദിവസവും പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുവാനും ദുഃഖിതന്മാരെയൊക്കെയും ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാനും
2to proclaim the year of Yahweh's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;
3സീയോനിലെ ദുഃഖിതന്മാര്‍‍കൂ വെണ്ണീറിന്നു പകരം അലങ്കാരമാലയും ദുഃഖത്തിന്നു പകരം ആനന്‍ ദ തൈലവും വിഷണ്ഡമനസ്സിന്നു പകരം സ്തുതി എന്ന മേലാടയും കൊടുപ്പാനും അവന്‍ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ മഹത്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര്‍‍കൂ നീതിവൃക്ഷങ്ങള്‍ എന്നും യഹോവയുടെ നടുതല എന്നും പേരാകും
3to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified.
4അവര്‍‍ പുരാതനശൂന്‍ യങ്ങളെ പണികയും പൂര്‍‍വ്വന്മാരുടെ നിര്‍‍ജ്ജനസ്ഥലങ്ങളെ നന്നാക്കുകയും തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിര്‍‍ജ്ജനമായിരുന്ന ശൂന്‍ യനഗരങ്ങളെ കേടുപോക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും
4They shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5അന്‍ യജാതിക്കാര്‍‍ നിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ആട്ടിന്‍ കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ മേയക്കും; പരദേശക്കാര്‍‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഉഴുവുകാരും മുന്‍ തിരിത്തോട്ടക്കാരും ആയിരിക്കും
5Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners shall be your plowmen and your vine-dressers.
6നിങ്ങളോ യഹോവയുടെ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്‍‍ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാര്‍‍ എന്നും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു പേരാകും; നിങ്ങള്‍ ജാതികളുടെ സന്‍ പത്തു അനുഭവിച്ചു, അവരുടെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നു അവകാശികള്‍ ആയിത്തീരും
6But you shall be named the priests of Yahweh; men shall call you the ministers of our God: you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves.
7നാണത്തിന്നുപകരം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഇരട്ടിയായി പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടും; ലജ്ജേക്കു പകരം അവര്‍‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ഔഹരിയില്‍ സന്തോഷിക്കും; അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു ഇരട്ടി അവകാശം പ്രാപിക്കും; നിത്യാനന്‍ ദം അവര്‍‍കൂ ഉണ്ടാകും
7Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be to them.
8യഹോവയായ ഞാന്‍ ന്‍ യായത്തെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും അന്‍ യായമായ കവര്‍‍ച്ചയെ വെറുക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ വിശ്വസ്തതയോടെ അവര്‍‍കൂ പ്രതിഫലം കൊടുത്തു അവരോടു ഒരു ശാശ്വത നിയമം ചെയ്യും
8For I, Yahweh, love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ അവരുടെ സന്‍ തതിയെയും വംശങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അവരുടെ പ്രജയെയും അറിയും; അവരെ കാണുന്നവര്‍‍ ഒക്കെയും അവരെ യഹോവ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ച സന്‍ തി എന്നും അറിയും
9Their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which Yahweh has blessed.
10ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ആനന്‍ ദിക്കും; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തില്‍ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; മണവാളന്‍ തലപ്പാവു അണിയുന്നതുപോലെയും മണവാട്ടി ആഭരണങ്ങളാല്‍ തന്നെത്താന്‍ അലങ്കരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും അവന്‍ എന്നെ രക്ഷാവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു നീതി എന്ന അങ്കി ഇടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു
10I will greatly rejoice in Yahweh, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11ഭൂമി തൈകളെ മുളപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും തോട്ടം അതില്‍ വിതെച്ച വിത്തിനെ കിളിര്‍‍പ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും യഹോവയായ കര്‍‍ത്താവു സകല ജാതികളും കാണ്‍കെ നീതിയെയും സ്തുതിയെയും മുളപ്പിക്കും
11For as the earth brings forth its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Yahweh will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
