ദ്വീപുകളേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പിന് ; ദൂരത്തുള്ള വംശങ്ങളേ, ശ്രദ്ധിപ്പിന് ; യഹോവ എന്നെ ഗര്ഭംമുതല് വിളിച്ചു; എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തില് ഇരിക്കയില് തന്നേ എന്റെ പേര് പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Listen, isles, to me; and listen, you peoples, from far: Yahweh has called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother has he made mention of my name:

അവന് എന്റെ വായെ മൂര്ച്ചയുള്ള വാള്പോലെയാക്കി തന്റെ കയ്യുടെ നിഴലില് എന്നെ ഒളിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന് എന്നെ മിനുക്കിയ അമ്പാക്കി തന്റെ പൂണയില് മറെച്ചുവെച്ചു, എന്നോടു

and he has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand has he hid me: and he has made me a polished shaft; in his quiver has he kept me close:

യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ എന്റെ ദാസന് ; ഞാന് നിന്നില് മഹത്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

and he said to me, You are my servant; Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
4
ഞാനോ; ഞാന് വെറുതെ അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു; എന്റെ ശക്തിയെ വ്യര്ത്ഥമായും നിഷ്ഫലമായും ചെലവഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ന്യായം യഹോവയുടെ പക്കലും എന്റെ പ്രതിഫലം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കലും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

But I said, I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely the justice due to me is with Yahweh, and my recompense with my God.
5
ഇപ്പോഴോ, യാക്കോബിനെ തന്റെ അടുക്കല് തിരിച്ചുവരുത്തുവാനും യിസ്രായേലിനെ തനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ശേഖരിപ്പാനും എന്നെ ഗര്ഭത്തില് തന്റെ ദാസനായി നിര്മ്മിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു--ഞാന് യഹോവേക്കു മാന്യനും എന്റെ ദൈവം എന്റെ ബലവും ആകുന്നു--

Now says Yahweh who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, and that Israel be gathered to him (for I am honorable in the eyes of Yahweh, and my God is become my strength);

നീ യാക്കോബിന്റെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളെ എഴുന്നേല്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും യിസ്രായേലില് സൂക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ തിരിച്ചുവരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നും എനിക്കു ദാസനായിരിക്കുന്നതു പോരാ; എന്റെ രക്ഷ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളം എത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നെ ജാതികള്ക്കു പ്രകാശമാക്കിവെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

yes, he says, It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.

യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനും അവന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനുമായ യഹോവ, സര്വ്വനിന്ദിതനും ജാതിക്കു വെറുപ്പുള്ളവനും അധിപതികളുടെ ദാസനുമായവനോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുവിശ്വസ്തനായ യഹോവനിമിത്തവും നിന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യിസ്രായേലിന് പരിശുദ്ധന് നിമിത്തവും രാജാക്കന്മാര് കണ്ടു എഴുന്നേല്ക്കയും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് കണ്ടു നമസ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Thus says Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of Yahweh who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.

യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുപ്രസാദകാലത്തു ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളി; രക്ഷാദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു; ദേശത്തെ ഉയര്ത്തുവാനും ശൂന്യമായി കിടക്കുന്ന അവകാശങ്ങളെ കൈവശമാക്കിക്കൊടുപ്പാനും ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോടുഇറങ്ങിപെയ്ക്കൊള്വിന് എന്നും അന്ധകാരത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവരോടുവെളിയില് വരുവിന് എന്നും പറവാനും ഞാന് നിന്നെ കാത്തു,

Thus says Yahweh, In an acceptable time have I answered you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you; and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage:
9
നിന്നെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നിയമമാക്കി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര് വഴികളില് മേയും; എല്ലാപാഴകുന്നുകളിലും അവര്ക്കും മേച്ചലുണ്ടാകും.

saying to those who are bound, Go forth; to those who are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and on all bare heights shall be their pasture.
10
അവര്ക്കും വിശക്കയില്ല, ദാഹിക്കയുമില്ല; മരീചികയും വെയിലും അവരെ ബാധിക്കയില്ല; അവരോടു കരുണയുള്ളവന് അവരെ വഴിനടത്തുകയും നീരുറവുകള്ക്കരികെ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും.

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water will he guide them.
11
ഞാന് എന്റെ മലകളെയൊക്കെയും വഴിയാക്കും; എന്റെ പെരുവഴികള് പൊങ്ങിയിരിക്കും.

I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
12
ഇതാ, ഇവര് ദൂരത്തുനിന്നും ഇവര് വടക്കുനിന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്നും ഇവര് സീനീംദേശത്തുനിന്നും വരുന്നു.

Behold, these shall come from far; and, behold, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
13
ആകാശമേ, ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്ക; ഭൂമിയേ, ആനന്ദിക്ക; പര്വ്വതങ്ങളേ, പൊട്ടി ആര്ക്കുംവിന് ; യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ അരിഷ്ടന്മാരോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കുന്നു.
13
Sing, heavens; and be joyful, earth; and break forth into singing, mountains: for Yahweh has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.
14
സീയോനോയഹോവ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു, കര്ത്താവു എന്നെ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

But Zion said, Yahweh has forsaken me, and the Lord has forgotten me.
15
ഒരു സ്ത്രീ തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിനെ മറക്കുമോ? താന് പ്രസവിച്ച മകനോടു കരുണ, തോന്നാതിരിക്കുമോ? അവര് മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞാലും ഞാന് നിന്നെ മറക്കയില്ല.
15
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you.
16
ഇതാ ഞാന് നിന്നെ എന്റെ ഉള്ളങ്കയ്യില് വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ മതിലുകള് എല്ലായ്പോഴും എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
16
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.
17
നിന്റെ മക്കള് ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു വരുന്നു; നിന്നെ നശിപ്പിച്ചവരും ശൂന്യമാക്കിയവരും നിന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുന്നു.

Your children make haste; your destroyers and those who made you waste shall go forth from you.
18
തലപൊക്കി ചുറ്റും നോക്കുക; ഇവര് എല്ലാവരും നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു കൂടുന്നു. എന്നാണ, നീ അവരെ ഒക്കെയും ആഭരണംപോലെ അണികയും ഒരു മണവാട്ടി എന്നപോലെ അവരെ അരെക്കു കെട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all these gather themselves together, and come to you. As I live, says Yahweh, you shall surely clothe you with them all as with an ornament, and gird yourself with them, like a bride.
19
നിന്റെ ശൂന്യസ്ഥലങ്ങളും പാഴിടങ്ങളും നാശം ഭവിച്ച ദേശവുമോ ഇപ്പോള് നിവാസികള്ക്കു പോരാതെവരും; നിന്നെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞവര് ദൂരത്തു അകന്നിരിക്കും.
19
For, as for your waste and your desolate places, and your land that has been destroyed, surely now shall you be too small for the inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up shall be far away.
20
നിന്റെ പുത്രഹീനതയിലെ മക്കള്സ്ഥലം പോരാതിരിക്കുന്നു; പാര്പ്പാന് സ്ഥലം തരിക എന്നു നിന്നോടു പറയും.

The children of your bereavement shall yet say in your ears, The place is too small for me; give place to me that I may dwell.
21
അപ്പോള് നീ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില്ഞാന് പുത്രഹീനയും വന്ധ്യയും പ്രവാസിനിയും അലഞ്ഞു നടക്കുന്നവളും ആയിരിക്കേ ആര് ഇവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു വളര്ത്തിത്തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു? ഞാന് ഏകാകിയായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഇവര് എവിടെ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു പറയും.
21
Then shall you say in your heart, Who has conceived these for me, seeing I have been bereaved of my children, and am solitary, an exile, and wandering back and forth? and who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where were they?
22
യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് ജാതികള്ക്കു എന്റെ കൈ ഉയര്ത്തുകയും വംശങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്റെ കൊടി കാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അവര് നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ തങ്ങളുടെ മാര്വ്വില് അണെച്ചും പുത്രിമാരെ തോളില് എടുത്തുംകൊണ്ടു വരും.
22
Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and set up my ensign to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.
23
രാജാക്കന്മാര് നിന്റെ പോറ്റപ്പന്മാരും അവരുടെ രാജ്ഞികള് നിന്റെ പോറ്റമ്മമാരും ആയിരിക്കും; അവര് നിന്നെ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വണങ്ങി, നിന്റെ കാലിലെ പൊടി നക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നും എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവര് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകയില്ല എന്നും നീ അറിയും.
23
Kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am Yahweh; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.
24
ബലവാനോടു അവന്റെ കവര്ച്ച എടുത്തുകളയാമോ? അല്ല, നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്റെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ വിടുവിക്കാമോ?

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captives be delivered?
25
എന്നാല് യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുബലവാനോടു ബദ്ധന്മാരെ എടുത്തുകളയാം; നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്റെ കവര്ച്ചയെയും വിടുവിക്കാം; നിന്നോടു പോരാടുന്നവനോടു ഞാന് പോരാടുകയും നിന്റെ മക്കളെ രക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
25
But thus says Yahweh, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.
26
നിന്നെ ഞെരുക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് അവരുടെ സ്വന്തമാംസം തീറ്റും; വീഞ്ഞുപോലെ സ്വന്തരക്തം കുടിച്ചു അവര്ക്കും ലഹരി പിടിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ വീരന് നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനും ആകുന്നു എന്നു സകലജഡവും അറിയും.

I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
