1മോവാബിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകംഒരു രാത്രിയില്‍ മോവാബിലെ ആര്‍പട്ടണം നശിച്ചു ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു രാത്രിയില്‍ മോവാബിലെ കീര്‍പട്ടണം നശിച്ചു ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
1The burden of Moab. For in a night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to nothing; for in a night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to nothing.
2ബയീത്തും ദീബോനും കരയേണ്ടതിന്നു പൂജാഗിരികളില്‍ കയറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; നെബോവിലും മേദെബയിലും മോവാബ് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ തലയൊക്കെയും മൊട്ടയടിച്ചും താടിയൊക്കെയും കത്രിച്ചും ഇരിക്കന്നു.
2They are gone up to Bayith, and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep: Moab wails over Nebo, and over Medeba; on all their heads is baldness, every beard is cut off.
3അവരുടെ വീഥികളില്‍ അവര്‍ രട്ടുടുത്തു നടക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പുരമുകളിലും വിശാലസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും എല്ലാവരും മുറയിട്ടു കരയുന്നു.
3In their streets they gird themselves with sackcloth; on their housetops, and in their broad places, everyone wails, weeping abundantly.
4ഹെശ്ബോനും എലെയാലെയും നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ഒച്ച യഹസ്വരെ കേള്‍ക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു മോവാബിന്റെ ആയുധപാണികള്‍ അലറുന്നു; അവന്റെ പ്രാണന്‍ അവന്റെ ഉള്ളില്‍ നടങ്ങുന്നു.
4Heshbon cries out, and Elealeh; their voice is heard even to Jahaz: therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud; his soul trembles within him.
5എന്റെ ഹൃദയം മോവാബിനെക്കുറിച്ചു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ കുലീനന്മാര്‍ സോവാരിലേക്കും എഗ്ളത്ത് ശെളീശീയയിലേക്കും ഔടിപ്പോകുന്നു ലൂഹീത്തിലേക്കുള്ള കയറ്റത്തില്‍ കൂടി അവര്‍ കരഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു കയറിച്ചെല്ലുന്നു; ഹോരോനയീമിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയില്‍ അവര്‍ നാശത്തിന്റെ നിലവിളി കൂട്ടുന്നു.
5My heart cries out for Moab; her nobles flee to Zoar, to Eglath Shelishiyah: for by the ascent of Luhith with weeping they go up; for in the way of Horonaim they raise up a cry of destruction.
6നിമ്രീമിലെ ജലാശയങ്ങള്‍ വരണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു പുല്ലുണങ്ങി, ഇളമ്പുല്ലു വാടി, പച്ചയായതൊക്കെയും ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു.
6For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate; for the grass is withered away, the tender grass fails, there is no green thing.
7ആകയാല്‍ അവര്‍ സ്വരൂപിച്ച സമ്പത്തും സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെച്ചതും അലരിത്തോട്ടിന്നക്കരെക്കു എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു.
7Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away over the brook of the willows.
8നിലവിളി മോവാബിന്റെ അതൃത്തികളെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അലര്‍ച്ച എഗ്ളയീംവരെയും കൂക്കല്‍ ബേര്‍-ഏലീംവരെയും എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
8For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the wailing of it to Eglaim, and the wailing of it to Beer-elim.
9ദീമോനിലെ ജലാശയങ്ങള്‍ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ ദീമോന്റെ മേല്‍ ഇതിലധികം വരുത്തും; മോവാബില്‍നിന്നു ചാടിപ്പോയവരുടെമേലും ദേശത്തില്‍ ശേഷിച്ചവരുടെമേലും ഞാന്‍ ഒരു സിംഹത്തെ വരുത്തും.
9For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; for I will bring yet more on Dimon, a lion on them of Moab that escape, and on the remnant of the land.
