അതിന്നു ദേശത്തിലെ അധിപതിയായവന് ഞങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് പരമാര്ത്ഥികള് എന്നു ഞാന് ഇതിനാല് അറിയുംനിങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു സഹോദരനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വിട്ടേച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളിലെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിന്നു ധാന്യം വാങ്ങി കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിന് .
World English Bible
The man, the lord of the land, said to us, 'Hereby will I know that you are honest men. Leave one of your brothers with me, and take grain for the famine of your houses, and go your way.
