1അനന്തരം മിസ്രയീം രാജാവിന്റെ പാനപാത്രവാഹകനും അപ്പക്കാരനും മിസ്രയീം രാജാവായ തങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനനോടു കുറ്റം ചെയ്തു.
1It happened after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker offended their lord, the king of Egypt.
2ഫറവോന്‍ പാനപാത്രവാഹകന്മാരുടെ പ്രമാണിയും അപ്പക്കാരുടെ പ്രമാണിയുമായ തന്റെ രണ്ടു ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരോടു കോപിച്ചു.
2Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief cupbearer and the chief baker.
3അവരെ അകമ്പടിനായകന്റെ വീട്ടില്‍ യോസേഫ് ബദ്ധനായി കിടന്ന കാരാഗൃഹത്തില്‍ ആക്കി.
3He put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.
4അകമ്പടിനായകന്‍ അവരെ യോസേഫിന്റെ പക്കല്‍ ഏല്പിച്ചു; അവന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു; അവര്‍ കുറെക്കാലം തടവില്‍ കിടന്നു.
4The captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he took care of them. They stayed in prison many days.
5മിസ്രയീം രാജാവിന്റെ പാനപാത്രവാഹകനും അപ്പക്കാരനും ഇങ്ങനെ കാരാഗൃഹത്തില്‍ ബദ്ധന്മാരായിരുന്ന രണ്ടുപേരും ഒരു രാത്രയില്‍ തന്നേ വെവ്വേറെ അര്‍ത്ഥമുള്ള ഔരോ സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടു.
5They both dreamed a dream, each man his dream, in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.
6രാവിലെ യോസേഫ് അവരുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ വന്നു നോക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.
6Joseph came in to them in the morning, and saw them, and saw that they were sad.
7അവന്‍ യജമാനന്റെ വീട്ടില്‍ തന്നോടുകൂടെ തടവില്‍ കിടക്കുന്നവരായ ഫറവോന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരോടുനിങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്നു വിഷാദഭാവത്തോടിരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
7He asked Pharaoh's officers who were with him in custody in his master's house, saying, "Why do you look so sad today?"
8അവര്‍ അവനോടുഞങ്ങള്‍ സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടു; വ്യാഖ്യാനിച്ചുതരുവാന്‍ ആരുമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യോസേഫ് അവരോടുസ്വപ്നവ്യാഖ്യാനം ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളതല്ലയോ? അതു എന്നോടു പറവിന്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
8They said to him, "We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it." Joseph said to them, "Don't interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me."
9അപ്പോള്‍ പാനപാത്രവാഹകന്മാരുടെ പ്രമാണി യോസേഫിനെ തന്റെ സ്വപ്നം അറിയിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതുഎന്റെ സ്വപ്നത്തില്‍ ഇതാ, എന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ ഒരു മുന്തിരി വള്ളി.
9The chief cupbearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, "In my dream, behold, a vine was in front of me,
10മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയില്‍ മൂന്നു കൊമ്പു; അതു തളിര്‍ത്തു പൂത്തു; കുലകളില്‍ മുന്തിരിങ്ങാ പഴുത്തു.
10and in the vine were three branches. It was as though it budded, its blossoms shot forth, and the clusters of it brought forth ripe grapes.
11ഫറവോന്റെ പാനപാത്രം എന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിച്ചു ഫറവോന്റെ പാനപാത്രത്തില്‍ പിഴിഞ്ഞുപാനപാത്രം ഫറവോന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ കൊടുത്തു.
11Pharaoh's cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand."
12യോസേഫ് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതുഅതിന്റെ അര്‍ത്ഥം ഇതാകുന്നുമൂന്നു കൊമ്പു മൂന്നു ദിവസം.
12Joseph said to him, "This is the interpretation of it: the three branches are three days.
13മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിന്നകം ഫറവോന്‍ നിന്നെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചു, വീണ്ടും നിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തു ആക്കും. നീ പാനപാത്രവാഹകനായി മുമ്പിലത്തെ പതിവു പോലെ ഫറവോന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ പാനപാത്രം കൊടുക്കും.
13Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your office. You will give Pharaoh's cup into his hand, the way you did when you were his cupbearer.
14എന്നാല്‍ നീ ശുഭമായിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ എന്നെ ഔര്‍ത്തു എന്നോടു ദയ ചെയ്തു ഫറവോനെ എന്റെ വസ്തുത ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നെ ഈ വീട്ടില്‍നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.
14But remember me when it will be well with you, and show kindness, please, to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house.
15എന്നെ എബ്രായരുടെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു കട്ടുകൊണ്ടുപോന്നതാകുന്നു; ഈ കുണ്ടറയില്‍ എന്നെ ഇടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന്‍ ഇവിടെയും യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.
15For indeed, I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews, and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon."
16അര്‍ത്ഥം നല്ലതെന്നു അപ്പക്കാരുടെ പ്രമാണി കണ്ടിട്ടു യോസേഫിനോടുഞാനും സ്വപ്നത്തില്‍ എന്റെ തലയില്‍ വെളുത്ത അപ്പമുള്ള മൂന്നു കൊട്ട കണ്ടു.
16When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, "I also was in my dream, and, behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head.
17മേലത്തെ കൊട്ടയില്‍ ഫറവോന്റെ വക അപ്പത്തരങ്ങള്‍ ഒക്കെയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; പക്ഷികള്‍ എന്റെ തലയിലെ കൊട്ടയില്‍ നിന്നു അവയെ തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
17In the uppermost basket there was all kinds of baked food for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head."
18അതിന്നു യോസേഫ്അതിന്റെ അര്‍ത്ഥം ഇതാകുന്നുമൂന്നു കൊട്ട മൂന്നു ദിവസം.
18Joseph answered, "This is the interpretation of it. The three baskets are three days.
19മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിന്നകം ഫറവോന്‍ നിന്റെ തല വെട്ടി നിന്നെ ഒരു മരത്തിന്മേല്‍ തൂക്കും; പക്ഷികള്‍ നിന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നുകളയും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
19Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head from off you, and will hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from off you."
20മൂന്നാം നാളില്‍ ഫറവോന്റെ തിരുനാളില്‍ അവന്‍ തന്റെ സകലദാസന്മാര്‍ക്കും ഒരു വിരുന്നുകഴിച്ചു. തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ പാനപാത്ര വാഹകന്മാരുടെ പ്രമാണിയെയും അപ്പക്കാരുടെ പ്രമാണിയെയും ഔര്‍ത്തു.
20It happened the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants, and he lifted up the head of the chief cupbearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants.
21പാനപാത്രവാഹകന്മാരുടെ പ്രമാണിയെ ഫറവോന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ പാനപാത്രം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വീണ്ടും അവന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തു ആക്കി.
21He restored the chief cupbearer to his position again, and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand;
22അപ്പക്കാരുടെ പ്രമാണിയെയോ അവന്‍ തൂക്കിച്ചു; യോസേഫ് അര്‍ത്ഥം പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ തന്നെ.
22but he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.
23എങ്കിലും പാനപാത്രവാഹകന്മാരുടെ പ്രമാണി യോസേഫിനെ ഔര്‍ക്കാതെ അവനെ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
23Yet the chief cupbearer didn't remember Joseph, but forgot him.
