അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും എല്ലാം അവനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാന് വന്നു; അവനോ ആശ്വാസം കൈക്കൊള്വാന് മനസ്സില്ലാതെഞാന് ദുഃഖത്തോടെ എന്റെ മകന്റെ അടുക്കല് പാതാളത്തില് ഇറങ്ങുമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ അപ്പന് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
World English Bible
All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted. He said, "For I will go down to Sheol to my son mourning." His father wept for him.
