യഹോവയായ ദൈവം നിലത്തെ പൊടികൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യനെ നിര്മ്മിച്ചിട്ടു അവന്റെ മൂക്കില് ജീവശ്വാസം ഊതി, മനുഷ്യന് ജീവനുള്ള ദേഹിയായി തീര്ന്നു.

Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
